| In history, there are tales of a great war that shattered the very fabric of space and time. During the war, a weapon known as the Forever Abyss was created. With the power to destroy worlds in an instant, it is considered the greatest weapon in the universe. At the war's end, the weapon was deemed too destructive and was implanted into the peaceful planet of Earth, infusing it with the core of the planet. The planet has been decaying ever since. ------------- Lucifer!!! Get in here!!!! *a young boy come out carrying a small pot. Before him stood a sinister looking man who's face was, as usual, covered* Yes, my master? Fetch me my guests! You can't keep them waiting. Yes, sire. *the boy called lucifer ran through the maze of dim hallways to a set of large doors. Lucifer pulled a switch and the doors crept open, revealing a pair of shadded figures* My master awaits, kind sirs. Move, boy, we know the way. *Lucifer quickly yeilded tio the two. Recently, the boys master had been recieving guests like this, and he was starting to change, little by little . Something was amiss, and the boy wanted to know what. He snuck after the men as quietly as possible until they reached the masters chambers* Gentlemen, please have a seat. We are fine standing. Then please tell me what you are doing here. *Lucifer peaked into the room* Our master grows tired of the delayed payments. He wants them all now. With interest. Interest?! I can barely give him the money that he wants, let alone interest. We do not care. Give us the money now, or we will show you the wrath of the Knights of Darkness. I'm sorry, but things have gotten out of hand. I am now closing my link to the Knights. *faster than the eye can see, one of the men, leaps to the masters side and slices in half with a lightniong-fast slash of some weapon Lucifer could not see. The weapon is quickly sheathed. Lucifer, completely caught off gaurd, falls into sight of the men, and, with a loud oof, the men turn to see him* Boy, what did you see? What did you hear? Brother, my blade wishes to taste more blood. No.. he may be of use to the Knights... *the closest man runs up to lucifer and hits him in the jaw, sending the slave-boy into unconciousness...* ------------- AH Great soup! *a young man with blue hair puts down another bowl of soup* Another! *the restaurant owner walks up to him* No! The bill is already to high, and we have little more soup! **Sigh** Alright...what's the pay? $75.67. Pocket change! *the young man takes out the hundred. The owner is stunned* You can go ahead and keep the change. *He gets up to walk away* Sir...who are you? *he turns before he leaves* The name's Hills. |

| OOC... That last post made no sense to me. A young girl whatched the guy with blue hair hand over a hundred dollar bill, and she herself was stunned. She hadn't seen so much money with such a young man. Of course she was younger than him, and traveling all the time didn't leave much money for her, especially when she started off at zero. "To think, I'm stuck working in a kitchen for min--" "Stop complaining and go home, if you hadn't noticed he ate us out of soup." The manager was right, although he could've spared the rudeness of it. Maya walked around the corner and out the door quickly before the manager could tell her to wait. "I really have to get out of this dump of a town, it is driving me crazy... Of course... it isn't as bad as that church... I never--" Maya again found herself cut of as she ran right into Hills. She stumbled backwards yet somehow managed to keep standing and began to frantically apologize. "Oh sorry, please forgive me, I wasn't whatching where I was going." Maya quickly walked away with her head down, even though she looked ashamed, she had a plan going through her mind. (thinking) "I hope he is like what he seems, I could be in for an adventure if I'm right." |

In the same instance she ducked air currents around her formed a shield of air to stop whatever it was from getting to her. She really wasn't strong besides her magic, and then most normal hits would send her to the ground in pain. If a normal human snuck up behind her they could actually stop her from doing anything. Kire find's a source, and through another dectect spell, he determines that this is who shot at the two standing there. Kire runs past Maya and Hills... "Ryuu Denkousekka Batsu!" My business is with Hills! *hills appears behind him, daggers drawn* You could say the same for yourself, Gemini. What do you want with Maya? *the attacker, known as Gemini, spun towards hills and launched another bolt. The bolt hit his chest square in the middle, and sent hills flying. he landed next to Maya* My business is my own! Besides why would I even want to speak to an outcast like yourself? *hills fell into unconciousness. Gemini spat in his direction and turned to Kire* Do you want to fight or what? |

Maya reached out in every direction she could, feeling the fire that the earth had. She brough the energy to herself and focused it. It would only take a second to release all the energy right at this "Gemini". |
