I know this is really weird, but...do you like to dip chocolate in soda? I do...in fact, I sometimes enjoy just putting a piece of chocolate in my soda and drinking it as if the chocolate is a part of the soda itself. (edited by Mutation on 01-07-05 09:23 PM) |

You're one of those people that put Pop rocks in their aluminum soda cans, shake it, then nuke it in the microwave for two minutes and hope it's not sparking when you drink it, aren't you? No I don't. |

I've never even heard of doing that It makes me think of putting hot chocolate powder in a can of pop I'd eat a chocolate bar and drink a can of pop, but I wouldn't put the chocolate in the can If you like it though, that's quite fine

If I wanted chocolate in my soda, I'd drink chocolate soda. And to my knowledge, that doesn't exist. So there.

Originally posted by Colleen It exists when you put chocolate in a soda.... And, well, I had never tried this before, quite honestly. However, since you brought it up, I tried it at dinner. I like it. I will do it more in the future. |

I'd rather pay $1 for a can of chocolate soda than $2 for a soft drink and a chocolate bar, thank you very much.

I got curious, so I went and did a google image search for 'chocolate soda', and interestingly enough, there were a couple results that had to do with this thread's topic There's also a picture of a cat on there , but here's links to the three pictures: :: 1 :: 2 :: 3 I'm not sure what the validity and age of those pictures are, but they're still interesting, in the sense that they show you that sort of stuff existed, and could exist today I made a rather hasty decision with my first post in this thread, when I said that I wouldn't try doing this. If I had the stuff necessary to (pop and some sort of chocolate), I probably would try it. It could be tasty, and it wouldn't hurt to try it once (edited by Karadur on 01-07-05 11:07 PM) |

Originally posted by Colleen There is such a soda I've had it before. Quite good if I do say so myself but I never put chocolate in a soda before. Just had a chocolate soda. Also, I'll try doing that sometime when I have some pop that I can stand to drink cuz all we have is Pepsi. (edited by Dark Vampriel on 01-07-05 11:12 PM) |

The first one looks the most recent, the second one looks like an ice cream float. The third one's old. I guess it exists/existed but it's certainly not extremely popular - no major company's taken a run for it as far as I know. |

Soda and chocolate? Thats a new one too me.. Some other weird ass combinations I know of that people actually like: french fries/icecream, popcorn/m&ms, and peanut butter/bananas. |

Originally posted by Holy Knight Not to change the thread topic, but a peanut butter and banana sandwich is quite good, if you ask me I don't know about the other two combinations though Originally posted by Colleen I sort of thought the second one looked like a milkshake or something as well I just noticed the third one has a thermometer on it as well, but the ad portion of it is what matters Until I actually see it in front of me, I'll continue to be sceptical as to whether it exists or not. The homemade stuff is most likely just as good though. |

It probably is but if I'm going to toss that much sugar into my system, I'd rather do it steadily rather than all at once. Peanut butter + honey > peanut butter + banana. |
