Yeah, but I bet you anything Nintendo also said "you're not doing this, this or this with our guys" and probably gave EA the exact character models to use.  Although having Mario taunt an opponent by saying "This is-a my house!" would be hilarious.  |

| Hah, this is absolutely hilarious. But, how exactly are normal people supposed to compete against characters from the Mario series? Mario can jump five times his height from a standstill, Luigi can jump even higher, and Peach can float. How do you guard against someone who can casually float across half the court to make a slam dunk? | They're just characters - last I checked, they didn't have any super-special powers. Which would definitely be cheapness. Ubisoft is a MUCH more different situation than Nintendo. |

| Not really. EA is a huge corporate entity, Nintendo should compuncture to a very competitive and relentless company. EA is taking that as a sign of will to co-operate. If this co-operation does not occur, EA could very well have its own system. | |||

| Sion, I'm looking at this using my brain. EA, its aggressive. Nintendo is as weak as a starving kitten compared to it. EA, if it feels compunction to do so, will threaten Nintendo's autonomy, and will purchase it. |

| Think of it this way. EA manages to grab Nintendo by the balls stockwise. Industry announcement. Nintendo's next system will carry more EA sports games than Next Box or PS3. EA gains a cash whore, because it can sell dumbdowned versions of PS and XB, and gets to make revenue off of a system and a game series. Hawkins left because he was a douche and is like Tim Roberts. He doesn't know what to do with an invested dollar. The new EA management is going to continue buying and buying until they are the most profitable 3rd party out there. Even more so than they are now. |
