| For starters, change the following : Motherboard : ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe CPU Cooling (Why CPU only? And it's a given that the Aquagate blows) ) : Aqua Computer water cooling parts, off of http://www.snt-systems.com; cooling Northbridge, CPU, and GPU perferably with a 3x120mm radiator. Memory : Again, a waste. I'd rather opt for 2x 512MB CL2 rather than 2x 1024MB CL3. Hard Drives : 2x 74Gb Raptors on Raid0 for OS, keep other hard drives for storage, also on Raid0 Graphics : 2x XFX 6800 Ultras, PCI-e, on SLI That should be sufficient. EDIT : Just read some of your previous posts. Before you attempt to do this, make sure you know what you're getting yourself into. But 400Gb (gigabits) is only 50 gigabytes which really isn't much. (I've never seen an HD measured in Gb, but I wouldn't be surprised with some of the sleazy tricks they'll do. 1K is NOT 1000 bytes!  ) |
