Also if I use your host can I use cool replacement HTML like that at the top of your post which isn't useful on other sites (such as here) but would be very nice to show off my 1337 skills? | |||

| There is no such thing as good, free hosting. It does sound tempting though... I have no idea as to what the best host is. They all have their pros and cons. Once you've done signed up at once place, you find another giving more for a cheaper price. I remember the halcyon days of free webhosting, when F2S was king back in 1999. Then the internet boom came and died...There is no "ultimate" host, it's about how much you're getting for your money. Chances are that you don't even need a real good host for the kind of website you want to make. How are you going to know if it's going to become popular and take up more bandwith? How do you know you'll even finish creating it? Your mind wants to play tricks on you and say you need all that stuff when you don't need it but that it's cool to have. Right now I'm using Erk's hosting at Fiftypounds...500 MB of space, 50 GB, all that PHP stuff and whatnot for $5 a month, and it's pretty good. I need to pay him soon before he kills me, I'm like 3 or 4 months overdue I think.
