1) 1024x768 95% of the time. 2) 60hz, it's perfectly fine and I get buzzing when it's too high anyways. 3) 32-bit, because I can handle it. 4) Bottom because that's what I'm used to. 5) Nah, I always like seeing what's open at a glance. |

1) 640x480 Sometimes 800x600 when a program needs it to be. 2) 60hz At all times. 3) 32Bit color always . 4) Taskbar is on the bottom, hate it anyother way. 5) Taskbar has automatic hide turned on. It's never in the way like that. |

1.) I run my screen in 1152 x 864 ... 2.) @85 Hz, with a color depth of ... 3.) 32bit and ... 4.) the Taskbar is fixed ar the bottom anyway, along with ... 5.) auto-hide OFF, but ... 6.) I prefer strawberry yoghurt more than a chocolate pudding and I hate overcrowded desktops anyway ... |

I think autohide is pretty bad with the taskbar, because you'd need to go down to the bottom and then a little bit up again. That can't be good for your hand or wrist. | |||

My old 1990, 13inch, Packard Bell screen is made for 60hz and 640x480 resolution. It can't stand anything higher then 60hz (starts going crazy and screming). I can however get it to withstand 800x600 sometimes. Anything higher then that, and it starts poping . So i'm kinda stuck like this till i get a new one, one of these days... Oh well, but it still works and looks ok. |

1- Depends, I've used 800x600 a lot since my GunBound addiction last year but I just recently switched back to 1024x768 and that's all I need (although I can go up to 1920x1080) 2- 100Hz in 800x600, 85Hz in 1024x768 3- 16bit, some programs don't seem to like 32bit color 4- On the right since almost 2 years, not going to change The only problem with it is that it tends to stretch on resolution changes and I have to shrink it back 5- No auto-hide, no grouping, 120 pixels wide (should actually be 128, but because of what I just said above ...) |

1. 1080x960 -- nice rectangle size. 2. 70-79hz 3. 32 bit 4. Bottom -- I'm normal like everyone else . 5. No auto hide, I'm not unique . |
