| the spec att on rayquaza isn't nearly high enough to OHKO a good water poke (read: Suicune, Swampert, Milotic) which may have ice beam. It probably won't even 2HKO milotic with thunderbolt and after a calm mind it certainly won't do so to Suicune, plus it has nothing that kills swampert with ANY speed. Rayquaza is naturally better with physical attacks anyway what with Dragon Dance and all, and thanks to lack of Super Effectiveness with physical attacks, even after a dragon dance (but not two, though you'll only be able to get one off as they'll most likely switch it in first turn). Even though it's uber and has 150 base attack, Rayquaza is not as good as Salamence. Rayquaza is much stronger, but Salamence' ability is the supremely useful Intimidate, allowing Salamence to be used more effectively and more strategically. Rayquaza has Air Lock, whick quite frankly will never be useful. | |||

| erhm...a little off topic but yes, the plural form of a Pokemon is the same as the singular form. Good example: My Nidoran evolved into Nidorina. I saw some wild Nidorina on Rt. 32 Bad example: I caught a Kangaskhan at the Safari Zone. There are no Kangaskhans in the Hoenn region. Though you bring up a point with Mew, as Mews may sound correct...saying for example "I saw several Mew" just dosn't sound right, same with Mewtwo...however, as by the game's story/ies, there technicly isn't supposed to be a plural of said Pokemon in the first place (sorta like how there's one Articuno, etc), but yeah (edited by Keitaro on 01-15-05 05:47 PM) |
