I'll give you one Rupee for Hiploop, which is the name used in Majora's Mask. It is their Japanese name. Hiproop is just another translation.

I also was looking for 'Iron Mask', which is the name Helmasaurs were given in the guide to Link's Awakening.

21 - How many Silver Arrows does it take to defeat Ganon in TLoZ and how many in ALttP? 2 Rupees if you get them both correct.

Only one silver arrow is required for Ganon in The Legend of Zelda - you hit him with the sword until he is stunned, then one silver arrow finishes him off.

In A Link to the Past it's a little different - it takes 4 silver arrows to bring him down.

I think that it's only one game where Link and Samus make an cameo appearance together and I SHOULD know this, because I've been hacking it for the past 3 months. It's Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Oh yeah, and there's also Super Smash Bros. and Super Smash Bros. Melee, if I had forgotten though... So that makes it 3.

4 of them. I vaguely recall another game in addition to the ones Tamias mentioned, but don't remember which, exactly.

The only other games I can think of that Samus made an appearance in were two brief cameos in Kirby Superstar and Kirby's Dreamland 3, and neither of them had Link in, to my memory. So I'm giving Tamias the point, unless someone corrects me or points out another game.

23 - 3 Rupees if you get this one. If you added all the floors from all the dungeons in ALttP, how many floors are there? In the case of Hyrule Castle which is broken up into three dungeons, only count the number of floors once all three dungeons are linked together.

If nobody gets it exactly, closest guess gets 1 Rupee, unless you're only one or two floors off, in which case you get 2.

Well, Sword kirby looks similar to Link. But I wouldn't count that as a fullblown link cameo anyway.

I guess 54. I think it was something around that number of floors if you count them together.

are you counting the fairy pool you can drop into the the mountain tower? you drop all the way below the 2nd floor down into an unmapped basement, but the map doesn't show it.

the rest do actually add up to 54 (lucky guess, Kitten Yiffer), so i guess 55.

I can't BELIEVE Kitten Yiffer got that. No, I'm not counting the Fairy Fountain, that's too obscure and it's unmapped, and if anything it would be the 1st floor...

Kitten Yiffer, how the bloody hell did you get that so fast?

This ones easy! I've played Zelda BS plenty of times wondering
where the Lanmolas(sp?) and Patras(sp?) were! I never knew
they where missing, i just thought for some reason I never found them.

[Edit: I need to fix my layout it interfeared with my text. Is it possible to put in frames?]

It's been awhile so we'll move on. The answer was the Lanmolas, which I assume is what Synneth meant when he said 'big caterpillars', so he can have a Rupee for that. The other monster is, of course, Gleeok.

Patra makes an appearance, more than once. Boss of Level 5, then shows up again later. Gleeok doesn't show up. Red and Blue Bubbles show up (were there different varieties of Bubble in the original, too?).

24 - Which of these locations from Termina does not have a distinct 'alternate' in Hyrule?

A - Woodfall
B - Stone Tower
C - Termina Field
D - Woods of Mystery
E - Pirates' Fortress
F - Ikana Graveyard

Yeah there were different varieties of bubbles - red take away your sword, blue give it back, but only white ones appear in the main quest, red and blue are only in the second quest.

To answer the question, The Stone Tower.

Ah, I haven't played enough of the second quest (or the NES Zeldas in general), so that would explain why I had only seen the regular Bubbles. But yes, the Red and Blue ones exist in the BS-X version and have the same effect.

Stone Tower is correct. Woodfall has Death Mountain Crater as an alternate, Termina Field obviously has Hyrule Field, Woods of Mystery has Lost Woods, Pirates' Fortress has the Gerudo Fortress, and Ikana Graveyard has Kakariko Graveyard. I could of picked some more obscure locations... But then we'd have arguements over them.

Bonus Rupee for anyone who points out what may be the alternate to Snowhead.

Score:

Tamias - 2 Rupees
Gywall - 1 Rupee
Kario - 1 Rupee

25 - Disregarding Soul Edge, what is Link's most powerful weapon in Soul Calibur 2? 2 Rupees due to this being a cameo, albeit a major one.
