how did you generate that? anyways, chrismas in america demands a tree, regardless of what climate you live in--so, someone will get trees to remote places one way or another. makes me wonder why they aren't flown in...i guess they are that heavy? |

They might be flown in, it depends. But whether you ship them by boat or by plane, there's still costs involved. It's not a simple 3-hour trip, you know.

Assuming the trees are coming from either NH or Maine...then yeah, thats a 14 hour flight right there. So no wonder the costs are so high...but still, 200? You gotta feel bad for these people..

Why would they ship to hawaii from northeast US? North california seems like the best choice. |

How the hell do you silently cut down a tree? The faster you cut through something, the more noise it makes, and the larger your chances of being caught. The slower you cut through something, the longer the period of time is that someone can wander out and catch you.

I meant that you should use an axe. Not a saw. And that you should take a tree which is far away from the owner's house. |

Originally posted by TrapsterDunno if that helps... In general, a tree far from the owner's house isn't anywhere near a road (or at least that's how it is with the tree farms around here, heh) so that would just mean it'll take longer to get out. |
