I've been searching but couldn't find how to do what I want: I want to disable the screensaver on the logon screen. This is a pretty stupid question, but I just hate screen savers oon the logon screen (messes up my custom logon). So where do I find this option? |

If you're running Windows XP or 2003 get TweakUI from here If you're running Windows 95, 98, Me, NT4, or 2000 get TweakUI from here Set your screensave to none, and copy the screensaver setting over to the logon screen. |

Can't use TweakUI, because my WindowsXP is in French and I get the an error saying that it isn't a valid Win32 application. | |||

Take a look at this article: How To Change the Windows Logon Screen Saver in Windows XP If that doesn't work, there's one way I could think of to get this working, but you'd still have a screensaver on the logon screen, only it shouldn't mess up the layout of the screen. Take a look at LogonStudio here. I'm not sure if it'll work for the French version of XP as well, but it's worth a shot. The only thing is that you'd have to find a skin you like, since chances are there wouldn't be a skin that looks like what you've got right now, unless you create your own |

I guess that would work also, only that it's manual. TweakUI/En is probably purposefully not running on the French version. I don't know French, but I'm sure that you can find the French version of microsoft.com and find a specialised TweakUI. |

What Karadur said worked. And I didn't mess up anything, from what I've seen. Yay. |
