We have it, but I haven't tried it yet. I tried the first Metal Gear Solid ages ago, and I couldn't get past that stage in the beginning with the helicopter pad, so I figured that stealth action wasn't my forte. I'd been tempted to try MGS2 because at least you get a tranq gun in the beginning so you can immobilize the enemies instead of having to avoid or kill them. Difficulty-wise, how would you say MGS3 compares to the first two? (For the record, I would definitely be playing on easy mode... )

The boss battles are a big boost in difficulty. Not saying anything more there.

Otherwise, I find the jungle survival routine a little too easy.

That doesn't sound too bad. My big problem was getting caught and killed while sneaking around no matter how much I tried to get past that stupid guard on the right side of the map. I was worried that MGS3 would be worse because there's no radar, but I also heard that the design of the levels is more open to make up for that (so it's easier for you to carefully look around and spot bad guys).

The game is awesome! Even though the story is kind of hard to understand (and the dialogue is just... wierd ), I love it up.

Wierd dialogue in a Metal Gear game? What the?! At least it can't be worse than a man being controlled by a severed arm or a bisexual vampire... I hope.
