Nice and cheap, for a GBA flash cart?

That's one oxy-moron.

Just remember, they talk in BITS not BYTES (an advertising thing ).

Yeah, just like everything. Whatever they say it holds, divide it by 8 to get the size in MB.

Personally I suggest getting your hands on some EEPROMs and replacing the ROM in a game you don't care about. Build your own writer too, the total shouldn't run you any more than 20 bucks. (Though you won't have some of the cool features the commercial ones have like the ability to store multiple ROMs on it.) The only problem being the size of the original chips; probably tiny and hard to work with.

Heh, that's probably to make it sound like it can how more GBA games than it actually can. I've seen a few advertisements for them saying that they support NES games and ZX Spectrum games. Which is technically true, but you need to download an emulator first.

Then you hope a little longer, the Gigabit carts are about $200

You get e 256MBit for that. maybe a 512 one.

There's only one GBA game (I hear) that requires you to use the 1 gigabit cart (Kingdom Hearts), all else you'll be fine with 512.

How does it 'require' it? Is the game seriously that big? (128MB seems big for a GBA game. )
