National Treasure is definitely one of the more interesting family films of 2004. While films like "Finding Nemo" are considered family flicks, they lack intrigue and thought. You could be completely deprived of human contact and watch Nemo and like it. National Treasure requires a bit more knowledge of...well.....knowledge in general. The plot itself is easy to follow, but if you really want to get the finer points of the movie, you have to pay close attention to it and analyze everything. Of course, with every film Disney makes, there has to be some form of romance, and this film does have it. If you ignore it, the film is just as good, so it ends up being pointless other than the fact teenage girls will all say "Awwwww"
If you are at the theater, go see this. It is definitely worth your time. I have seen it twice and plan on obtaining a pirate copy soon.

It was a good movie... There were a couple for dumb--- "romance parts" Like when they are in the changing room (I won't spoil it for you). But the girl was definately a good looking woman...

Well, the plot is that there is this family bestowed with knowledge of a treasure hidden by our founding fathers. They have to follow clues and stuff to find if there is a treasure.

It sort of sounds like the DaVinci Code by Dan Brown. Is it?

It is incredibly like the DaVinci Code. The Illuminati also play a large part in this film. I for one think that Disney's trying to cash in on Brown's ingenious ideas, but it's still a good movie.
