| Serra felt her heart sink as she watched the screen. Hero looked at the screen, but was obviously blinded by the blood dripping down his head. He didn't react much, not really much he could do being broken. Destin had kept his charge along with Serra, Siryx, and Star, but he looked almost hopeless, but Star... He had a smile on his face. Star: "Nothing is eternal. I learned that the hard way myself." Star held Seraph up, with that smile still on his face, lightning arcing in every direction striking the giant monitor and the ground around him. Star: "I trust those on earth and they trust me, and all of us! Our planet's collective hopes and dreams are more than enough to stop you, but let me show you what a taste of this power is! Final Bolt!" Star thrusted the sword at NeoBowser and a HUGE lightning bolt shot towards NeoBowser, destroying the ground around it and making metals fly across the room. As Star did that a bright light appeared on the screen. "This is the last safe place left Origin... What do you think we can do here?" "... It isn't hopeless, I will make sure that this planet doesn't fall, even with all these things around. I refuse to let it happen. Odin, don't worry, just guard this place." Origin walked into the middle of his tower, passing people by that looked full of grief, but at the same time still hopeful. He noticed two kids on the way, one looked rather raggedy, even for making it through this mess, and the other was a girl, who couldn't be past the age of five, but Origin could sense a deep intelligence. "For everyone... You must win, Star, Serra, Hero, Destin, Bel... I'll help the best I can." Origin looked into the sky, which had started to turn black. He took his spear and threw it into the air, as it rocketed upwards it didn't seem to do anything. Origin let a very deep roar out as light flooded from his body consuming the tower and piercing deep into space, lightning the entire solar system. Origin let the light flood over the earth, not sure what it would do. Serra: "There still is hope left... It isn't over... It won't be over till we can stop NeoBowser... Siryx, we have to do this now." Siryx: "Yes Serra, we can't give in." Destin: "Don't think you'll get away NeoBowser, I'll make sure you stay dead!" Hero: "My body or soul will never give into you. We humans are just as strong as everyone else, and no matter what, we will find a way to stop you." Serra and Siryx started to grab hands and started to spin, very fast. They tilted towards NeoBowser, looking like a circle of white and black, making a yin-yang symbol. Serra, Siryx: "Ex Finisher!" A huge blast of white and black energy shot towards NeoBowser, containing their full powers in it, both of them feel to the ground tired after the attack. Destin slashed his sword in a long arc, throwing the fire into the air. Destin: "Inferno Grenade!" The fire landed after the blast, causing another huge explosion. | Off: Final Battle, part 2! BIG plot twist! I bet none of you were especting this! ____________________________________________________________________ NeoBowser laughed and laughed... NeoBowser: "Hahaha... HAHAHA! While I may die... I will never, EVER truly disappear!" The attacks struck NeoBowser and suddenly, he turned dark-red and then... his body faded out of existance. Stacice's body fell on the ground. She was no longer possessed. However... the Chaos Heaven did not faded, even with it's master gone. Slowly, the chains that kept the Chaos Essence bound to the large machine that once contained NeoBowser's essence broke, one by one... and then, the essence floated above the party... Chaos: "I am... Chaos... and I am the Origin. Everything was created from my will... and everything will vanish from my will." Suddenly, the entire room disappeared. Chaos: "NeoBowser always knew that he wouldn't exist forever... and as such, he made sure that he could be revived... as such, he infused me with his soul, reviving me. As such, Chaos and NeoBowser are in truth, the same being. The Creator and the Destroyer form only one... and trought the eternal cycle of Creation and Destruction, Evil rules over all. You, pitiful beings of physical matter, have no say in the fate of the world. You are nothing but worthless spawns of fake gods. Only I is the real Creator... and my will is that the cycle of Destruction and Creation shall be repeated forever, forever causing pain." Chaos turned from white to black. Chaos: "And now... your existance ends. I, your Maker, decided to unmake you." Then, Serra and all the others faded from existance. Their Creator, Chaos, had decided so. However... Ex's voice echoed in the emptiness... Ex: "S... S... Serra... y... you... can... hear me? This orb... is Chaos, a nightmarish power that was once know as Creator. Trying to reach perfection at all cost, the Creator worked for an eternity until he finally created a perfect power... a power worthy of his name... a power that was absolute and that would endlessly repeat itself no matter what happen. The Creator named this power Evil and unleashed it on the souls of his creations... but he understimated the power of Evil and he, too, was consumed by his own power. His body destroyed, his soul consumed, only his power remained. The original, mortal Bowser was a tortured soul... He was always picked on and everyone made fun of the chubby, stupid koopa guard... and then, someday, the king, Kamek, sent him into the depths of the Prison Dimension, hoping he would absorb the mysterious power and return as a perfect soldier. Bowser found Chaos' power... and became Chaos' new body and soul. Using Chaos' power, Bowser became NeoBowser, the Absolute Evil... and without knowing it, he became the opposite of what he hoped to become. NeoBowser hoped that thanks to the UEN, he could create a perfect world... but unfortunately, his perfect world was one of Evil... a world where only pain existed. Disgusted by his own power, NeoBowser fell into despair and as the source of all Evils, was unable to save himself from his own power. NeoBowser rebecame a tortured soul... and he's now insane. Only by bringing destruction and pain can he forget his own pain... only by shattering one's dreams can he forget that he shattered his own. NeoBowser... is a twisted, evil perception that Bowser has of himself. As such, NeoBowser's will is truly absolute... but it doesn't mean that his power is." Suddenly, Serra and the others existed, yet again. Ex: "NeoBowser is the true master of the Universe, the wielder of the Power of Creation. From his tortured soul, tortured images were spawned. NeoBowser must not remain the Creator. The power of Chaos is too powerful for anyone to wield. It must be shattered, Serra! Go on, Serra! Destroy the Essence! Free yourself, your friends, your entire people, the entire Universe from NeoBowser's reign of terror! Destroy the shell that is NeoBowser and free the true, good-natured Bowser from his prison! Save..." NeoBowser: "Hmph! So... it is you, aren't you? How nice of you to show up. So... you actually DARED to do this don't you?" Ex: "I do whatever I please." NeoBowser: "Indeed. I know that. You're so annoying." Ex: "I'm not annoying. YOU are, mascarading as ME! You know very well that when I defeated you, you forced me into the Chaos Essence. How very foolish of you, forcing me to take your place!" NeoBowser: "Well, that was the least I could do, after all!" Ex: "Do you think I like to be called "NeoBowser"? That's YOUR name not mine!" NeoBowser: "Sorry... master..." Ex: "Anyway, you have done well, bringing them to me. You have fulfilled your duties admirably..." NeoBowser: "I am not worthy... master." Ex: "Whatever. Just disappear and leave me alone." NeoBowser: "As you wish..." Suddenly, NeoBowser's consciousness faded and then, the TRUE form of Chaos became visible. Serra and the others were inside of a HUGE room entirely made of flesh. In front of them, encased in the wall, was the hideous mutated form of Ex Lightheart, the Chaos Essence encased in her chest, beating like a heart... normal since the Chaos Essence IS her heart! Ex's true body was positively horrific. No fur on it, just skin. She had more than 12 eyes and at the end of her 6 arms was a hand with 7 fingers that ended with gigantic purple claws. Tubes from all around the room supplied the body with nourishment since Ex couldn't move... altought they looked more like decoration than anything. NeoBowser seemed very nice-looking compared to this horror. Ex: "Serra... you have made this far... just like you should have. There is nothing to say. You, the reincarnation of what I once was, will now fight me, the true Absolute Evil and Destroyer of all things. You will shatter this vile power that keeps me chained to this cursed place or you and your world will be destroyed trying. Now, Serra... give it your best! I shall have no mercy toward you and I espect none from you!" Ex roared. Her voice was identical to Serra's... exept that it seemed horribly twisted and was filled with pain. It seemed as if she had been trapped in here forever and been tortured all this time... Ex pointed at each of the party members and suddenly, bolts of non-elemental energy came out of nowhere to strike each party member. Each bolt was twice as strong as any of NeoBowser's attacks!... excluding Eternum of course. ____________________________________________________________________ Off: Yep, indeed! Ex had been manipulating everyone from the start!... oh, and the people giving power to Serra can see this second part of the fight too! Also, Chaos' and NeoBowser's speechs are indeed true... exept that you must replace the name "NeoBowser" with "Ex", actually! | Hero: "NO!" Hero's dark aura flashed again and all the bolts struck him and he fell to the ground. His body now looked horribly broken as if he had been through hell and back, which he kind of had done. He looked up at Ex, a smile on his face... Hero: "Your strong, but you are doomed... I've been through a cycle like this before... that is why our possiblity doesn't have an ultimate evil... Back then... I was the strongest being, only fighting an illusion... Evil doesn't exist... Good luck Serra, Destin, don't lose..." Dark Wish flashed and black lightning spread over Hero's body. His entire body became light and disappeared, but with it, everyone could feel this, a huge shockwave occured. Star: "A huge life force has passed on... if he was as strong as his life force... none of this would be happening..." Serra and Destin: "..." Destin: "I'll kill you! I'll kill you! I'll kill you!!!" Destin charged the creature in front of him, but fell to the ground when Star hit him in the back of the head. Destin: "What are you doing?" Star: "This isn't your fight anymore..." Serra screamed and shot towards Ex, a lot of power put into the attack. Dracoon: "Their chances are low..." Odin: "No they aren't... I know. They will win, they have to." Origin: "Just keep the monsters away, the light should consume them soon." |

| However, all of the attacks directed at Ex only made her stronger. Dark Weapon: "Serra... it is unfortunate but Siryx and the others can't help you. I am the only thing in the Universe that can harm Ex Lightheart as she is infused with the Chaos Essence." Ex pointed each of the party members. FORMAT! Suddenly, all party members were surrounded with a strange light. The strange light forced the party to return to normal AND cancelled Dark Wish's protection over the party. It also broke the link between Dark Weapon and everyone, leaving Serra as the only one to be infused with it's power. It looks like Serra will have to finish this fight alone... | OOC Dark Wish's powers were already gone, because Hero's dead, the sword can't do anything if the wielder is dead. Serra: "Stay back, I'll finish this..." Serra moved forward, holding Dark Weapon and ready to strike. She jumped at Ex and tried to do a heavy slash, attempting to destroy it quickly. |

| Suddenly, something appeared in Ex's right hand (the middle one)! CLANG! Ex blocked Serra's attack with... Dark Weapon?!? Serra: "Nice aerial strike... for a mortal. For an "Ex" being, that was kinda weak... nope. It was completely pathetic. You are stronger and faster than this. Give me a challenge, Serra! If all your attacks are this slow and weak, it will take me less than a minute to defeat you!" Suddenly, it seemed as if Ex was moving her arms at the speed of light. She executed a left hook, sending Serra and punched her non-stop on the way up. Then, she slammed her into the ground with her own Dark Weapon... and continued to slash her on the way down. All in all, she had struck Serra so many times it was unbelievable. Dark Weapon: "Serra? Are you alright? I cannot believe this... becease of a dimensional anomaly, it seems that I exist at two places at once! I exist here, in your hands... but I'm also in Ex's hand too. This is... weird. Ex seems to have perfect, complete control over her powers and has much more experience. I don't know if we can do this... but fKitten Yiffer is not an option. Close your eyes... I'll try and unleash your true, hidden power and allow you to use your Dark Overdrive. Do not try to do anything. Just drain your mind of all conscious tought and let me take over for a while. | Dark Weapon stared deep within his wielder's soul... and saw what he wanted. Serra raised Dark Weapon above her head and then, she flashed red for a second. Ex's movements suddenly seemed to be slow... very, verrry slow... Serra dashed toward Ex and then began to slash the Chaos Essence several times, doing a long combo. Once the combo was finished, Serra jumped and slashed the Essence one last time, this time in a downward angle. Then, Serra regained all tought, her Dark Overdrive was finished, and the effects of her attack took effect. Serra had gone as such a huge speed that everything, including Ex, had seemingly went at a super-slow speed... Dark Weapon: "Just like I tought! You are indeed what Ex once was... and as such, you have all of her abilities! Serra, chase all of the fear and doubts within your heart. The deeper if your concentration, the faster and stronger you get... and the more powerful will be the Dark Overdrive attacks you'll do. Do not let Ex distract you!" Ex: "Hmmm... is that all? It did hurt... but not much. You're not going to win if you do weak moves such as this one." |

| Inside of Serra, memories began to surface... memories that was not hers but where there, anyway. Fury... a long combo of attacks that ends up with a powerful downward strike... Sword Rain... A rain of thunderbolts caused by Dark Weapon... Omega Flare... a technique that cause the entire arena exept the land on which the target is to turn to magma and then cause the target to be blasted with a giant plasma beam, sending the target plummetting into the magma and then, the magma disappear, burrying the target alive in the ground... Counter... a technique that will block a single attack with almost 100% chances of success and then strike back for twice the power of the attack blocked... Delta Shield... a technique that will reflect the next spell casted back at it's caster whatever the spell may be... ... and finally... Ex's Wrath. The strongest attack next to Eternum... However, no memories on how to actually execute Ex's Wrath could be found by Dark Weapon. Dark Weapon: "I have uncovered a number of attacks that should allow you to defeat Mother Ex. Now... go on! Unleash your power and free my former master from the influence of the Chaos Essence!" |

| Serra: "No... this isn't the right way... if I do this, she'll just come back, as strong as ever. There is another way..." Serra spotted the amulet Hero had dropped and called it to her, the amulet suddenly appeared in her head, it was a legend... The great magic Eternum was once the most powerful magic ever created, made to destroy someone completely. A great evil once unleashed the attack countless times, letting no hero fight against the evil, fearing that one may win. So, in desperation, humans began to look for something more powerful. They found it, but it was only in the soul of those who needed it and no one else could use it. The spell was named "Mortalin" after the human's mortal state. The attack is the counter to stopping Eternum, but can only be used when someone is weak, or it will completely drain the users life energy, turning them to stun, immortalizing them in an ironic outcome. This artifact was made to make sure the attack would be remembered, and used. Be careful whoever finds this. Serra looked up at Ex and formulated a plan. Serra: "Fury!" Serra launched at Ex, attacking countless times, and ending with a very strong downward slash that cut the air with it. |

| Off: To Dracoon: It is actually important in this part of the battle to specify which body part(s) Serra is attacking. I'll assume Serra's last attack was directed at the Chaos Essence. To Trapster: Your character (Bel) can make himself useful during the fight, actually! While he cannot attack Ex, he can use his magic to try and keep incoming attacks from harming Serra. If he is able to, he can also use his magic to increase Serra's abilities... and if Serra can separate the Chaos Essence from Ex's main body, then he'll be able to attack Ex directly (but not the Chaos Essence). ____________________________________________________________________ Ex took the damage and then tried to execute an upward slash with her Dark Weapon, hopefully knocking Serra right into the wall! Ex: "I begin to wonder if you'll ever use another attack. In the last fight, all you did was use Ex Attack and now, all that you use is Fury. You have the same power that I used to wield... but obviously, you have none of my skill and experience." Dark Weapon: "Serra... I know what you want to use. Mortalin won't work as you're already immune to Eternum's instant-kill effects. Also... I think I forgot to specify it but... Ex is invincible only as long as the Chaos Essence is directly connected to her body. While she'll received power from it and will be controlled by it as long as the Essence is intact, you can disable her invincibility in a temporary manner by separating her main body and the Essence. How you do so is up to you." |

| Serra readied Dark Weapon again as she landed on the wall instead of crashing. Serra: "No Mortalin can be used, I just have to use it when Ex is weak or else it won't work. Eternum weakens the caster before they do it, that is why it works then... Anyways... Sword Rain!" Serra jumped into the air and pointed Dark Weapon right at Ex's body. She shot bolts of energy out of the sword trying to cut Ex from the chaos essence. |

| Off: Looks like everyone was fooled!... again! This is it, the final final battle! All that is left is to overcome the Chaos Essence and the party will save their world from NeoBowser and his UEN. Also, Stacice may take part in the final battle as she's no longer possessed. ____________________________________________________________________ Ex was shocked and began to shake. Suddenly, the sound of glass breaking was heard and the Chaos Essence was expelled out of Ex's body. However, as it did, Ex's body faded and the Chaos Essence became transparent. Ex: "I... Is... that all... you.. y... I... am... weak... strong... power... s... rl... d... death... yo... you wil... live... death..." Ex's body exploded. Then, NeoBowser came out of the ground, in his true, completely-revived body. He looked like some kind of snake made of bones with 3 pairs of half-decayed angel wings. His head was identical to what it was when he was in his fake form. NeoBowser: "Shout! The Mother Ex became unstable! I knew I should have chained the Chaos Essence inside of that worthless mass of flesh unstead of just placing it there! Anyway... it doesn't matter if Mother Ex is destroyed." NeoBowser made a gesture with his hand and the entire room disappeared. NeoBowser: "As long as Chaos is intact, the memory of Ex Lightheart will exist and thus, I will be truly immortal and almighty." NeoBowser stared at Serra and the others. NeoBowser: "I cannot afford people to know that my true Life Force is within my very enemy's soul. As such, I fear I'll have to put an end to your journey." NeoBowser laughed. NeoBowser: "It's a pity, really. You'll never be able to actually see my triumph over your world. Well, doesn't matter. CHAOS! ACTIVATE BATTLE MODE!" Suddenly, the room reappeared. They were back in the room where NeoBowser had been revived and Stacice was there, lying on the ground. The room of flesh as well as Mother Ex were little more than illusions created from the master computer of the LuciferXIV. In truth, they had never been teleported to a new room! As NeoBowser ordered to Chaos to engage the party, the walls began to glow in a strange light and 4 shield generators appeared, creating a force field around the Chaos Essence. NeoBowser: "Now... no more games! No more illusions! Just you, Chaos, and me!" NeoBowser dashed toward Serra, trying to tackle her at an incredible speed, probably doing quite a bit of damage of damage and slamming her into the wall! The Chaos Essence surrounded itself with green spikes and then sent them flying at the party. It sent over a thousands of spikes, each flying faster than sound. Not only that, but each spike was covered with an extremely potent poison. Each of the shield generators began to shoot sparks around, trying to trap the party members so they wouldn't dodge NeoBowser's and Chaos's attacks. | Star: "You worry about taking him down, I'll worry about protection!" Star released a tremendous amount of energy, stopping the spikes where they flew, and putting them all in a big heap in the air. The shield generators also recieved enough electricty to overload them, if they could be. Destin stood up and rush NeoBowser before he could get to Serra, halting his attack. Destin: "Come on Serra, destroy Chaos, we can take--" Destin fell backwards as Stacice pushed him out of the way and tried to ram her long dagger right into NeoBowser. Stacice: "I won't let you go that easily! You tricked me! You tried to use me! You will die!" Stacice began to twist the dagger and punch NeoBowser repeatidly with all her strength. Serra looked at Chaos and went towards it. Serra: "Omega Flare!" The area around Chaos turned into magma and Serra pointed Dark Weapon at Chaos. She shot a huge plasma beam right at the essence, trying to force it into the magma to be trapped. |

| NeoBowser's attack missed and he tackled the wall unstead of Serra. He turned around and prepared to attack again... but was smacked by all of the party's attacks that were directed toward him. However, strangely, there wasn't even a scratch on him. NeoBowser laughed at those who tried to attack him. NeoBowser: "You sure are big time idiots! As long as the Chaos Essence is intact, I am completely and totally invincible! See? Not even a scratch! I did not even flinch!" NeoBowser breathed fire, trying to burn Stacice and Star to a crisp. ... Chaos was hit by the huge plasma beam... but becease of the force field, Chaos received no damage. Not only that but Chaos is floating and as such, was not sent into the magma. ... The generators suffered no damage from the sudden surge of electricity. Dark Weapon used telepathy to speak to everyone. Dark Weapon: "The generators' orbs! The orbs are the generators' cores! Destroy them!" |

| Destin: "Damn!" Destin shot fire back at NeoBowser, trying to turn all the flames over to NeoBowser instead of taking damage. Star: "Not a problem!" Star jumped at the nearest orb, slashing it and jumped to the remaining orbs in a very quick combo. Serra look at Chaos and saw Stacice approach it. Stacice: "Hammer of Might!" Stacice jumped into the air and brought her hands down with a massive ball of energy that shot right towards Chaos. Serra: "... Ex's Wrath!" Serra pointed Dark Weapon at Chaos as Stacice's attack flew at it. She allowed a massive amount of energy to pass into her body and into the sword. Siryx walked up behind her and lended her some energy sho she would be able to fight after doing the attack. Suddenly the sword seemed to exploded as a small spinning orb shot at Chaos at an incredibly high speed. Siryx: "Careful, you are still the key to winning this battle..." Meanwhile in the over world... Odin: "Damn... They got them all... Origin let all his energy release, killing his body... Dracoon disappeared... the people in the tower... all dead..." Odin spoke aloud as one abomination after another tried to attack him, he managed to kill every single one that had fought him, but he knew this was an empty victory. Luke: "Don't give up hope yet, everything will be fine, you'll see." Odin heard a voice not that far off that seemed kind of young to be around here. He heard a girl sobbing, but he couldn't tell where it came from. Maya: "Luke... we can't do anything..." Luke: "Yes we can... we can survive... these things are currupted souls, that is why they can't hurt us. We have kept our souls pure enough for my music and your dances to protect us..." ???: "To bad you and I aren't like that Odin. We've both currupted ourselves beyond the point of normal humans..." Odin: "You have Fenrir, I have kept my hands clean." Fenrir?: "You know you don't have a chance yet you try? Why do you keep at it?" Odin: "I don't expect you to understand." Odin killed another of the creatures as another came closer to him. Fenrir: "You know they are just playing with you. They could kill you at any time they wanted." Odin: "Leave me alone. I don't care what you have to say, I will fight them." The creature tried to shoot Odin with some type of gun, Odin held his sword just right so the shot went straight back at the thing, but it didn't die. Odin: "Damn, some of these things are immortal?" Fenrir: "Yes, and they will kill you too." Odin: "You haven't left yet? Why do you keep bothering me?" Fenrir: "Because you are letting yourself die, you aren't running, you are just sitting here and waiting for death. You think death will take you easily, don't you? It won't. They will turn you into one of them." Odin: "They'd do the same to you if you weren't already more currupt than them." Fenrir: "No, they won't touch me or you, because i'm tired of them." Odin: "What?" Odin heard several gun shots and the creature in front of him died, along with a good portion of the crowd. Odin saw one remainging figure in the crowd, one who looked like he had once had a red treanch coat, but it had been torn to shreads of what it had been. It still seemed to connect above his elbows and looked a little bit like straps. Fenrir: "You can run now, they won't chase, your not strong enough." Odin: "???" |
