| Off: I have nothing against your post, Dracoon. Serra won't be stuck forever in this form... in fact, she found the exact solution. Since Serra cannot escape... she must give in to Evil... but who said that it would be the real Serra that would give in? ____________________________________________________________________ Alexander stared at Bel. Alexander: "Weird... shouldn't there be two of you? Hmm..." Alexander slapped his forehead! Alexander: "Why didn't I tought about this! What an idiot I am! I am a robot, I have a radar!" Alexander turned around and faced Destin. Alexander: "So you tought you could sneak up on me? Well..." Alexander's chest opened itself. Unlike last time, Alexander was quite angry and wasn't going to go easy on his foes! Alexander unleashed a real rain of ballistic missiles. The chances of survival for beings standing in front of Alexander are, in this case, very slim. ... During this time... ... Fake Origin: "Wha... w..." Suddenly, Star was back into the mirror room... In Origin's tower, a loud explosion could be heard. Origin instantly died and revived as all the corruptive energy was banished from his body. In his crystal ball, NeoBowser roared in rage... but after a while, he calmed down. He spoke to Origin trought the crystal ball. NeoBowser: "Curse that "Ex" being and her friends! Origin! You may have won for this time... but Star has merely freed you and this tower from my grasp! The remaining parts of your world are still being corrupted as I speak!... and even if they succeed in freeing all of your world, they cannot stop the inevitable! Now... HAVE AT YOU!" The crystal ball exploded, scattering shards everywhere. The crystal ball was one of the 4 Links that tied Siryx to NeoBowser. As the crystal ball exploded, Siryx recovered a bit more of his free will... Next to Star, a new Essence appeared... it was a high-tech handgun. Immense power was sleeping in this Essence... Ex's voice echoed. Ex: "Well well well! Looks like the first of the 5 Guardians is gone! This is my Blaster handgun, which I lost. I'm glad you found it!... but I guess that it will be more useful to you than to me. This is an extremely powerful weapon that can fire bullets using any of these 5 elements: energy, ice, electricity (wave), fire (plasma), explosive (missiles). While only "Ex" beings can "overcharge" it, you can charge the shots for extra power. This weapon is needed if you want to reach NeoBowser. I'm sure he included a few puzzles that need it... In fact, remember that each Mirror World require different Essences! Without the appropriate Essences, you won't clear the puzzles and won't defeat the enemies. Anyway, I'll contact you again when I have obtained more useful info..." ... During this time... ... Lieutenant Shadow: "I can't believe this! We just created that Fake Origin a while ago... and that mortal whips him so easily? What a total wimp!" Fierce Deity: "Do not be worried. Fake Origin was small time. I had a feeling he would fail us. Anyway... Dark Serra and Alexander are nothing like this total weakling. They should get the job done." Lieutenant Shadow: "Yeah... I know... but even if they actually fail, they just cannot defeat our improved Chimera." Fierce Deity: "You mean that you're going to waste the Almighty Invincible Mecha Mutant on those mortals?" Lieutenant Shadow: "Invincible and Almighty it may be... but still, "Ex" beings are not to be understimated. Remember that it was a single "Ex" being that almost single-handly caused the destruction of the original UEN! We must crush it quickly and mercilessly before it can become a threat." Fierce Deity: "Not important. Even if they free Siryx, recover the Essences and all that... the boss' master plan cannot fail. It just can't. It's a perfect plan created by a perfect mind. Whatever they do, they're doomed." ... During this time... ... Dark Serra and the vortex disappeared, returning Serra to the house. Dark Serra tried to control Serra's body... but unfortunately for her, the fake soul "exploded" when she tried to take possession of Serra's body and Dark Serra rebecame a part of Serra's soul. Also, Serra's soul was turned from the form of a dress back into pure soul energy and thus, took control of her own body again. A loud explosion could be heard and the village faded. Serra and Siryx were not returned to the mirror room however. They were in some kind of bedroom... it was inside of Siryx's memory, in his house, long long ago... Siryx smiled as he stared into his love's eyes... Siryx: "Welcome back, my love..." Siryx hugged Serra and cried. He had feared the worst... but looks like all was well after all. He had feared that she would fall to the Soul Vortex trick... For a moment, he tought that she would be forced to suffer all the pain he had suffered... Siryx: "Serra..." Siryx stepped away from Serra and suddenly, a loud explosion could be heard and Siryx broke into shards... or at least, the image that was Siryx broke, revealing another Siryx. Then, this second Siryx broke into shards as well revealing a third Siryx. Siryx: "Serra... can you see? The Links... 2 of them broke. Only two left... Already, I can sense the hatred vanishing from my heart... I can sense NeoBowser's influence vanishing. One of your friends must have defeated a Link in their own world while you destroyed another one, by defeating your dark side." Siryx looked around... Siryx: "It's strange... we should be back in the mirror room, shouldn't we? Yet... we are in a vision of my past. I wonder why we were teleported here. Well! I guess that we should take advantage of that brief moment of peace while it lasts, shouldn't we?" Siryx sat down on one of the chairs in the room and smiled. Siryx: "I saw your hometown... but it was a twisted, corrupted version. Could you please tell me about your true home? How it used to be? If you liked it there?" ... During this time... ... Stacice was swallowed by the Chaos Heaven and landed in the main hall of the Castle of Origins. The being that looked like "Star" was just in front of her, smiling... but there was something wrong about Star... his smile just felt... wrong. Furthermore, there was something in his eyes... it was as if the hatred within him was so strong that he could make things burn just by looking at them. Star?: "Oh! What do we have here? | (waiting for Trapster's post) "Heh, easier than I thought, just had to think a little bit. Emotions gave him power, so the lack of them completely, would mean he wouldn't exist. Thanks Dark Pheonix, you saved part of the world..." Star took a look at the gun, he was never very good with them, but this gun might be useful. "Now which mirrior to pick... Destin and Bel went into that one... Serra and Siryx into that one... that leaves the lasat empty mirrior to me. I can hope this one will be just as easy." Star walked through the remaining mirrior. "It was a great place to grow up. Everyone treated each other like family. We were all a bunch of ninjas and samurias, merecenaries, helping the highest bidder unless the chief said otherwise. My mother saved the village when a monster attacked it... at the cost of her life. She was the chief then too. After she died, our village started to disban, only the kids stayed behind to look after each other. I was the... doctor of sorts, Destin came by one day, well floated, and I helped him. That is how we met, my home town wasn't very big, just like a big family." Serra told the story after taking a seat. "Who are you? I don't believe we have met before." Stacice, in her innocence and ignorance, held out a hand to the person in front of her. She suspected something, but she didn't really think she'd meet some really powerful evil person here. |

| Star found himself in a city... it was covered with a strange purple fog. The citizens had green skin and their eyes seemed... empty. There wasn't any sound... not even a single animal. It was as if, in truth, there was no one. In fact, even the wind wasn't making any sound. ... During this time... ... Siryx: "I... see... My hometown was very different. All high-tech style and all... A very advanced city... but also a very "cold" city. There was no such things as "families" there. Babies were raised by the state and were given jobs according to their potential. Becease that I was half-"Ex" being, they forced me to become a member of the police force... but I quickly grown bored of this cold city and it's souless inhabitants. My heart longed for feelings... so I escaped. I escaped as far as possible..." Siryx stared at Serra... Siryx: "I never knew how it felt to have a family. My mother probably loved me... but the Anti-Exs took her life. I was lucky I survived... and as such, I was raised alongside all the others. I was tought that feelings were a weakness and that I was not important. Only the city was. I was insignificant, I was meaningless, I could be broken and replaced easily... I was no one, just a servant of the state." Siryx closed his eyes... Siryx: "I was born in a world without feelings... which is why today, I want my feelings to be as extreme as possible... and it is also the reason of my downfall... why I had let the Evil enter my heart... and yet, there are beings that believed in me. The said that NeoBowser could never erase what I was. I did not believe it... until I met with someone... I began to suspect that maybe, it was true... but it wasn't until I met you that I became sure that it was true. However... as the Links begin to break... a tought has entered my mind..." Siryx opened his eyes. He looked... worried. Siryx: "Right now... we are of the same specie. We both are covered with fur, we both have the same blood flowing in our veins... we both have the secondary senses and powers... But what will happen when this realm will collapse? I'm not worried that you'll save me but..." Siryx was no longer staring at Serra. He was staring at his feet... he looked very worried now. Siryx: "... will you forget? Will you return to what you were and forget everything while I will remain under this form? I will be real... but I will be a monster... a monster which you never met." Siryx remembered... according to what they had said... when the Chaos Heaven was destroyed, everyone lost their memories of what had happened exept for a select few... in fact, no trace of what had happened remained. It was as if nothing had ever happened... What would he do if it would be the same in this Possibility too? ... During this time... ... NeoBowser smiled. Star?: "I am... the master of this castle." NeoBowser stared at the woman... He analysed her soul troughly... Intelligent or not so bright? Playful or serious? While NeoBowser was definitely the perfect evil mastermind, he still tought about how long it had been since he left his original Possibility... and how long since he had kidnapped that princess... Being alone wasn't a good thing for anyoen, even for god-like evil masterminds and without the Dark Kings and with Siryx on the side of Good, he was definitely alone. Maybe he could spare this woman and make her into his queen or something? NeoBowser smiled at the tought... He always enjoyed a good challenge. He decided himself. He was going to toy with her mind for a while and draw into the side of Evil... then he would make her into his new second-in-command. Would he make her into his first Dark Queen?... a Dark Queen who would strive to gain both his favors as a leader and as a lover?... or would he trade his Absolute Evil title for a Dual Absolute Evil title, sharing his power with her or something? Whatever, tought NeoBowser. The first thing he had to do is learn everything about her so he would be able to draw her to his side. Before testing his charms as a male, he had to test his charms as a leader. Star?: "So, fair lady? Would you please tell me why you're here? If you're here for a reason... tell me now. If you just came here becease of luck or something... then know that I've organised a party deep within this castle. If you're interested, I'll give you a key to the place where it's taking place... and of course, this invitation applies both if you're actually here for a reason or not." NeoBowser wasn't satisfied. He felt that his speech was corny and stupid-sounding... but still, mortals were easy to convaince normally. | "..." Star didn't speak as he moved silently through the village, looking for anything out of place. He didn't need to fall into a trap right a way, he just needed to learn everything he could. If everyone was being silent, he should probably do likewise, for now. His thoughts rang out in his mind though. "The air around here is stifling, this place is worse than the fake tower. This place is real evil." Serra wanted to comfort Siryx, but she didn't know how she could. "I'll make sure I don't forget, somehow. We need to get out of here someway though, we can't stay here to long." "Someone told me to come here... I think his name was Hero. Have you heard of him? I was supposed to help Serra, Destin, Bel, and Siryx I think. It is still kind of a blurr to me." Stacice was convinced that this person wasn't evil, but she still had some doubt about something, it just seemed wrong. "Anyways, I'm not sure if I can stay long, I have to find them." Stacice was about to turn and leave, but she decided that staying for a few minutes couldn't hurt anything. "I have a few minutes though... I'm sure they aren't in any immediate danger." |

| The city was totally normal-looking... everything was normal... a bit too normal... It seemed unnaturally peaceful. Nobody was talking... nobody was doing anything... they were all doing their own business in the most total silence there could be. ... During this time... ... Siryx looked at Serra. Siryx: "Maybe I'm thinking too much? Who said that you would forget, after all? It's just that... I don't know... and I never liked not to know. In my hometown, the state's policy was only to tell people what they needed to know to work effectively and nothing else. There were no books... no access to information. All you knew was that you had to serve... To serve... to serve..." The bedroom began to fade... Siryx: "To serve..." They were back in the mirror room and Siryx was now angry for some reason. Siryx: "TO SERVE! I remember that I just HATE this verb! I've waste my childhood serving a worthless state and then, I wasted the other half of my life serving a turtle!" Siryx stared at the mirrors. He was enraged... but the rage felt fake. It was as if someone was forcing this feeling into his heart... Siryx: "I remember the reason I joined the UEN... so I would never serve anyone ever again... and yet, I served their leader... I betrayed my own beliefs..." Siryx tried to calm down... that rage wasn't his. It was a paradox... but not a reason for anger! Siryx: "T... t... the Links! They're... they're..." Siryx felt the urge to destroy something. Anything. The closest thing to him was Serra. Blinded by his rage, he jumped on Serra and proceeded to try and pull her head off while screaming in irrational rage. He seemed to be possessed or something. ... During this time... ... Star?: "Them... they are perfectly safe. They are enjoying this fair castle's party." NeoBowser approached Stacice and smiled. His smile seemed... fake. It wasn't the smile of a nice guy... it was the mocking smile of a psychopath. At such a close distance, you could sense his aura... an aura of pure evil. Just the fact of being near him would make one forget all of the good moments in his life and amplify his sad and painful memories. Star?: "My name is NeoBowser. You want me to give you a tour of my castle? You'll also see our guests for the party among which are Serra and the others." |

| The giant robot stopped sending missiles as it was blinded by Bel's flash. Alexander: "AAAACK! My eyes!... wait a minute! I am a robot! If one of my visual modes gets overloaded, I can always switch to another one!" Alexander's eyes changed color. Unstead of yellow, they were now blue. Alexander: "Now that's better! Heeheehee! This body is so cool! No matter what those insects do, I always have a secondary mode ready!" Alexander laughed at the heroes. |

| While the robot let itself be distracted, Destin leaped into the air, dodging the missles as he went, propelling himself like a missle with flames. He landed on the giant robot and stabbed down into it. He didn't expect the blade to even sink in, but he had enough flames and heat to melt through 50 feet of pure steel. "Here goes!" Star spun around making sure no one was around. He couldn't stand this place so he yelled out into the air. "Who ever is in charge here, fight me!" Serra rolled backwards away from Siryx, she knew she couldn't fight him and could only try and dodge for now. She would just have to stall. "Stay away from me..." Stacice reached towards her dagger, not really wanting to use it yet. "Your evil... Your lieing..." Stacice held a hand out flat in front of her, energy pulsing in her body. Her other hand was glowing to, but nothing came from it. "Tell me where they are." |

| Off: If NeoBowser seems to be a bit of a god-mod character in this post... then don't worry! NeoBowser IS a god-mod character in the way that he can control one's perceptions, control their minds, use them as puppets at will. Do not worry however... I'm not going to make him nuke the world or instant-kill a character anytime soon. Only exeptions: people who wield Essences and "Ex" beings. ____________________________________________________________________ The blade didn't do anything and neither did the flames. Alexander: "It really is too bad that none of the basic magic elements affect me. This armor is rock solid! Losers like you will never even scratch it!" Alexander continued to laugh. He was sure that there was no way that ant could harm him. ... During this time... ... Star's yell echoed trought the city... but nothing happened. ... During this time... ... Siryx was about to jump toward Serra again... but for some reason, he remained there, his eye twitching. It was as if he was struggling to regain control over himself... ... During this time... ... NeoBowser laughed. NeoBowser: "Very funny! You think you can threaten me? Who do you think you are?" NeoBowser raised his hand and Stacice was completely, entirely unable to move... like if time was stopped for her. NeoBowser: "All I would have to say is one word... ONE. A single word and you're finished, done for, gone, dead... and without any chance of ever being revived. However, I am not interested in killing you..." NeoBowser got closer... he turned around Stacice... NeoBowser: "I believe that you want to know my identity, right? Well... I am NeoBowser and I am stupid enough to call myself the "Absolute Evil". The demons never aknowledged me. They tried to whip me into submission... so I had to crush them. Then, the Prime Evils tried to control my mind... so I turned into MY puppets. Then, the Fallen Angel himself challenged me. I crushed him and shown his disembodied head to the demons, as a proof of my power. Since this day, the demons have considered me like some kind of god. Isn't that weird? But it isn't the most weird thing that happened to me! The angels got upset at the demons making me into their leader so they sent heroes to defeat me. I killed them one by one, all by myself, and sent their remains back to their master. Then, they sent great rays of destructive light to destroy me. The light was quite warm and nice. I grew bored of this little game and then, I went to Heaven and single-handly slaughtered all the angels I could find and then, I pulled off the Creator's head and thrown it to the angels. The angels too made me into some kind of god... and before long, the entire world was almost in my grasp. All that was left was the mortal plane... but then, the Creators that had created the Creator appeared to stop me. I beaten them and reclaimed the mortal plane. However, I found out about a fourth, hidden plane... but then, the Creators that had created the Creators that had created the Creator sent their best creation to rough me up. That creation was called "Ex Lightheart" and she's the worst bitch I had ever seen. She single-handly defeated all of my army, wrecked my bases, and then, she dared to destroy me both in body and soul." A shadow appeared over NeoBowser's head... NeoBowser: "Now, all that is left of me is this memory. I am not even real. I'm just a worthless memory... a nightmare they had. However... a nightmare I won't remain. While I failed in one Possibility, there exist other, weaker Possiblities... and this Possibility, your Possibility, is perfect. I will make this world into my own and be reborn. Then, I'll rule this world for some centuries, grow bored, and conquer more worlds." The shadow disappeared. NeoBowser: "So... Stacice? Are you satisfied? You know everything now. I am an image of what the real NeoBowser was when he was alive... and I plan on becoming the real NeoBowser! All I need is either to replace your world with my own... either to..." NeoBowser hugged Stacice... NeoBowser: "...either I need a soul to believe that I'm real... and you are the perfect candidate." NeoBowser got away from Stacice. He turned around her until he was in front of her again. NeoBowser: "I have no pretentions at being a super-uber-destructive bad guy. I'm just a guy who has everyone's hatred, pain, and despair flowing in his veins. Nothing too special as you can see. Just like anybody else, I get angry when my plans fail, I get happy when my plans succeed. I grow sad when people hurts my feelings and happy when surrounded by friends. If I can succeed in making a single soul believe in the fact that I'm real, then I will be reborn and will conquer the world without even having to kill anyone. In fact, it would be much better than a time-wasting bloodbath." NeoBowser laughed. NeoBowser: "According to my memory, the being I'm the memory of was a master at making speeches... but for some reason, I'm feeling as if I had said a bunch of stupid non-sense... err... was that last sentance even correct? Anyway. I'll release you from that little time stop and give you a tour of my castle. When you'll be done, I'll let you make your own choice." Suddenly, Stacice could move again. NeoBowser smiled... this time, it didn't felt fake... but still, there was something wrong... exept that it wasn't NeoBowser that was wrong... it was the one watching him. | "Heh. I figured you'd know basic science." Destin lifted the sword, drawing all of the heat out of it, even heat that wasn't put in by Destin. He immediatly put it back in, and took it out, and continued again and again, trying to make the thing break by the expanding and shrinking of the material. "..." Star looked towards the nearest person and walked over to them. "Do you know what is going on around here?" Star also spoke mentally to Seraph. "Do you know anything about this place?" "Come on Siryx, fight it. You aren't a puppet anymore! We have to help someone." Serra hoped for Siryx to break free, this didn't look good right now. Stacice didn't know what to think, she felt so helpless. She couldn't fight against him, at least not alone, but she couldn't just let him do as he pleased either. She knew she had to do something, but what. "Ok... lets get on with this... it isn't like I have a choice..." Stacice looked down, the energy still building in her hands, but now hidden away within her body, ready to explode in a moments notice. She didn't like being treated helplessly, but unless she could find a way out of this, she might have to get use to it. Hero could suddenly see with his eyes, he could feel his body back into his possession. He was no longer in the middle relm. "... All the swords are gone... I only have my spear." Hero grabbed his spear, imbued with a minor version power of each of the swords. Hero began to look around, noticing he was in the middle of the chaos relm. "I understand it now. The power of the Ex beings and NeoBowser. It isn't as powerful as I thought. This is weak compared to the power within our universe, but it will be to late for everyone by the time that power acts." Hero stepped forward slowly, wondering how this would all work out. He had to find Serra and Destin, he had to protect them first, then let them finish this battle. He didn't belong on the front lines, and after this, he would be able to be peaceful. "I'm on my way..." |

| However, Alexander's armor seemed totally unnaffected. It was as if his armor was made of a material that wasn't affected by the laws of physics or something... Alexander: "Tough luck mortal! This armor is made of a special armor that isn't affected by temperature! It cannot be shrunk or expanded by fire or ice!" Alexander continue to laugh. He found Destin's attempts at harming him so funny... Ex's voice echoed: Ex: "You know... how do you beat up an enemy whose armor cannot be broken? Just think about it... When you cannot harm the body, what do you strike?" ... During this time... ... Seraph: "This town seems normal and yet... it feels so... creepy." The nearest person to Star was some kind of scientist. He turned around to face Star. Scientist: "I'm studying magic and it's properties. I hope to reproduce the magic of mages using machines. Are you one of our agents? Are you here to report about any of your finds on the matter?" Suddenly, a grim reaper jumped out of the scientist's body and tried to cut him in pieces with his scythe! ... During this time... ... Siryx: "I'm... I'm trying... too... strong..." Siryx fell to the ground and banged his head on the floor while screaming in rage. He began to hit the floor harder and harder and harder until he knocked himself out. As he fell unconscious, blood flowed from the wounds to his head and painted the floor red. His body was shaking as the artificial hatred tried to awaken him... but not to avail. Then, it seemed as if he began to shake less and less... Unconscious beings cannot feel hatred and as such, without even knowing it yet, Siryx was freeing himself from the enemy's control... for now. ... During this time... ... NeoBowser opened the door and shown Stacice the room of mirrors. Siryx had finished knocking himself out and Serra was staring at him... For some reason, Serra and Siryx seemed rather... disgusting. A feeling of dread appeared in Stacice's heart at the sight of those rats... but for some reason, while the feeling really came from her heart... it just felt wrong. Why was Stacice filled with hatred at the sight of her own world's saviors? NeoBowser: "This is the room of mirrors, where your friends are entertaining themselves. As you can see, Serra and Siryx are currently wrestling with the Links, a gang of big bad guys who only exist in the goal of making Siryx go nuts. Siryx is really funny when he goes nuts. He goes around screaming in rage, pulling off the heads of all those who get in his way." NeoBowser closed the door and shown Stacice the main door. NeoBowser: "This door leads to the Castle's basement." NeoBowser opened the door. NeoBowser: "Our all-new mother ship, the LuciferXIV, is in the basement. It truly is an amazing site. It's a huge bio-mechanical Hell Worm larger than this world's moon and probably at least 25% as big as the planet. How can such a machine fit into this tiny castle? Compression technology! We, the United Evil Nations, wield technology that makes your science fiction movies seems primitive. Go on! Take a look at my all-new masterpiece!" NeoBowser smiled... and again, the smile didn't felt strange or wrong. Something really weird was going on. Why did suddenly, Evil felt so natural and right to her while Good seemed awkward and unnatural? It was as if NeoBowser had somehow twisted her mind, inverting her perceptions of the world, turning into Evil what was once Good to her and turning Good what was once Evil to her... NeoBowser *thinks* It's working! It's working! YES!... well, DUH! What am I thinking? It is absolutely sure that it will work! I'm the Absolute Evil! I have complete control over her!... hmm... why didn't I forced her to love me then? Probably didn't tought about this... but on another hand, artifical love is no fun. Forcing her to love me is too easy and will feel awkward. Unstead, I'll let the corruption take place and once she will be on my side, I'll try and seduct her. It will be fun! I always like a good challenge, after all! Well, I guess that's a plan! I'll continue on with my plan and show her how amazing and extraordinary me and my UEN are! She'll be totally seducted by both the side of Evil and myself and I'll conquer the entire world without raising a finger! Not only that but I'll get a good mate and her memories will help me finding and eliminating my possible rivals and forcing this world's pathetic Evils into submission! NeoBowser's smile widened. ... During this time... ... Hero was in another part of Chaos Heaven... and a very weird one at that! It was some kind of high-tech hangar. In front of him was probably the largest spaceship he had ever imagined... nope... it was larger than anything he could probably imagine. It was just gigantic. Bigger than a building... bigger than a city... bigger than a country! Heck! It was even bigger than the moon! Becease of how big it was, he couldn't see what was it's form exactly... but he knew that it was red, white, and black and that the entrance was just in front of him. Why are you taking orders from this guy? He doesn't even have a real body! Your much better than him, you should be in charge!" Destin started to run up Alexander, trying to get to the head of it. Star slashed upwards blocking the scythe attack. Star reached outwards towards the grim reaper with lightning trying to capture, not kill, him. "How about you tell me what is going on, so I can get out of here." Serra kneeled down next to Siryx and let Healer's power flow over him, but keeping him alseep. She saw NeoBowser and the girl come in, and was surprised. She had never seen that girl before, but she was hear now... What was NeoBowser doing keeping her alive? Stacice remained silent, not really sure what to do, everything just seemed so wrong. First it was this guy and then it stopped. Talking about evil didn't phase her and almost made her want to accept it, but something kept it from going through. There was one part of her that KNEW something was completely wrong and that she shouldn't trust NeoBowser. "Owww... My-my back. Whats wrong with my back!?!?!" Stacice screamed as a blue rune glowed on her back very brightly, showing up past the armor. She fell to her knees almost knocked out. Doom: "No way I'm obeying you!" UnDeath (the left hand) struck Doom! UnDeath: "Must obey... Legion..." Doom: "JUST SHUT THE F*** UP!!!" Doom and UnDeath began to fight each others! Legion: "*sigh!* I must really do everything myself..." Alexander's eyes flashed as he began to charge his main cannon... Ex's voice echoed: Ex: "Looks like you got it. Remember that Alexander is invincible... but Legion, UnDeath, and Doom are not. However, you cannot strike the cockpit (Legion) until the hands have been destroyed. Go on and strike them while their defenses are down!" ... During this time... ... The grim reaper did not replied. It seemed as if wasn't even hearing Star. As soon as his attack had been blocked, the Grim Reaper jumped behind Star and aimed for his neck. ... During this time... ... Siryx stopped shaking. He was back to normal. | Destin jumped from where he was over to UnDeath's side, he ran towards the main part of it and started shooting flames into the sky that turned and headed straight for UnDeath. "Come on, work!" Star ducked in time to keep his head and slashed upwards at the grim reaper trying to cut it in half. Star let his slash carry him into the air and he looked around while in the sky, trying to find something that would be any indicator of where he was. "I should stay here and hope Destin and Bel can break another link. I can't leave Siryx here alone... I have to tie him up with something though." Serra wished she had a rope now or something, and then she remembered she had fused with the swords. She glowed for a second and a transparent chain appeared in her hands. The chain was meant to take any kind of pressure and never break. She started to tie Siryx's hands and feet together so he wouldn't go crazy when he woke up. Stacice's eyes opened wide as NeoBowser pried into her memories, she had tried to block out the memory so many times herself. "Where are we going?" Stacice could only see the flicker of a fire ahead of her, but she knew she wasn't the one speaking. "We have to go to the temple, our daughter will die if we don't have her absorb the rune." "Why are we doing this? It isn't right, we shouldn't be doing this." "We HAVE to, or our daughter dies and the entire town will die later, we have to do this." "... Ok, lets hurry." Her memory flashed ahead a little bit, now she could see her father in front of a statue praying. "Please, let this work." Stacice was moved into a larger version of the rune, behind the statue. She could feel her body changing, the rune being inscibed upon her back. "I wish we could have done this when you were older... a four year old child shouldn't have to suffer like this. Please Stacice... forgive me." Stacice could now hear another voice inside her head. "Don't worry. It is natural for humans to act this way, they will do anything to survive. You were just one of their victims. You'll grow up to be powerful, but if you start to change your path and start to interfere to directly, I'll have to stop you. I'm the element of Destruction, and soon, you'll just be a vessel for my powers." "Ok, the rune is absorbing into her, do it now!" Stacice saw a bright light and wasn't sure what happened, but she saw that same flicker of fire again. "We did it. We stopped the rune from ever taking control, now she will have complete control." "No... she won't... Her own powers will far exceed her knowledge, she will be the victim of the runes ways. If she steps out of the way, she may die." "..." Stacice's memory faded and she blacked out. "This ship... What is it?" Hero had been looking in awe of the ship, never seeing something so big. "What am I thinking. It is here, so it must have an evil purpose. I need to destroy it." Hero walked into the ship, ready for anything. |

| The entire left arm began to burn as Destin's attack hit it. Doom: "S***s to be you!" Then, Bel's attack struck Doom! The two arms disappeared as their Life Force had been drained. A loud sound could be heard as Alexander's armor became affected by the laws of physics. Legion: "HUH?!? WHAT THE... HOW COULD... WHY DID... D**M IT!!!" Legion transferred all of Alexander's power into the regeneration systems so that the arms may return as fast as possible... but as he did so, the main cannon stopped charging. ... During this time... ... The grim reaper was destroyed by Star's attack. Scientist: "End of report..." The scientist suddenly disappeared. Seraph: "No... not that! Star... I fear that we are in the Undead Zone! This is the place where all of NeoBowser's servants go when they outlive their usefulness. Star... do NOT, I repeat, do NOT speak unless spoken to!... else, the grim reapers will get you! You were lucky only one of the grim reapers heard you!... else... I would have to find myself a new wielder!" ... During this time... ... NeoBowser stopped touching Stacice's head. He turned around her until he was in front of her again. NeoBowser: "I see... so you are evil after all!... no, you're not evil! You are like me... you are not evil, you are Evil!" NeoBowser laughed. NeoBowser: "No wonder you were so beautiful to my eyes... you are the Avatar of the Rune! You are Destruction, one of the Prime Evils!" NeoBowser smiled. NeoBowser: "I guess there is no need to act anymore then, I guess. This rune is a seal on your power... a power that is both Good and Evil. The original seal was Evil but your parents turned it Good so you wouldn't become what you were supposed to become. However, I can help you, Stacice!" NeoBowser took out the Trident of Souls. NeoBowser: "Let me remove the seal, Stacice! We shall follow the link and find the source of your power. Then, we will destroy that stupid spirit and make you the true Destruction! This will be magnificient, Stacice!" NeoBowser suddenly seemed to be MUCH taller and he didn't looked quite as human as before... NeoBowser: "NeoBowser, the wielder of Hatred and Stacice, the wielder of Destruction, working hand in hand! Yes... it is the beginning of a glorious era! No "Ex" beings to stop me... the Prime Evils being TRULY on my side... and the end of this pathetic world and it's reconstruction as a world of Evil, about Evil, for Evil!" NeoBowser smiled. He was no longer human, at all. He was still looking like Star... but spikes were coming out of his backs, he had a long spiky tail, had horns and claws, and the way he was standing... much more demonic than human. NeoBowser: "Finally, you will stop feeling pain for you will no longer be the slave of fate! You will control fate... no! You will BE fate!" NeoBowser struck the ground with the Trident, creating a portal. NeoBowser: "That spirit will regret ever trying to control you! He shall be tortured and reforged into YOUR servant for daring to oppose you! Come! To glory!" NeoBowser stepped aside, inviting Stacice to go in first. ... During this time... ... What Hero saw was... unlike anything he had ever seen. Even if the Chaos Heaven was nothing compared to... THIS. He had arrived on the top floor of one of the decks and found out that the ship was entirely made of a mix of metal, flesh, bones, blood, and an unknow substance that ressembled ice. As such, the walls were totally red and were covered with eyes, hands, and all other kinds of organic stuff while still looking perfectly mechanical. But as weird as was the ship itself... it's inhabitants were worse. Below, thousands... no... millions... no! BILLIONS of demons, humans, and other creatures building and preparing tanks, spaceships, helicopters, and all other kinds of weapons he hadn't ever saw. The UEN were preparing an invasion force... and it was several times the size of all of Hero's world's armies reunited together! In the higher floors, machines were processing captured innocents (probably caught during the shadows' short appearance in the reality), ripping their bodies apart and crushing and cutting them until their bodies was some kind of soup. Then, part of the soup was processed in the food distribution systems while the other part of the soup was used as material to create new demons, humans, and all other kinds of monsters. Not only that but the souls weren't spared. The souls were processed into machines and changed into evil souls or just plain disassembled into soul energy to be used as material for making the minds of the newly created monsters. It was obvious what this place was. This was the UEN's headquarters, the very core of the Chaos Heaven, the place where the UEN's hidden armies slept... as well as NeoBowser's true body and the Chaos Essence. ???: "HEY YOU!" A human came from behind Star. ???: "You must be a new recruit, aren't you? What are you doing here?!? Go on! Make yourself useful or we'll disassemble you and reforge you into something a bit less useless!" The human kicked Star's left foot and left while mumbling things like "These no good recruits!" or "hmph! n00bs!". | Destin jumped back on the main part of the body, repeating his heating and freezing technique, but using enough power to effect the entire machine! "Time for you to die Legion!" Destin used most of his energy just starting the technique, but he could keep it stable for a few hours if he had to. Everything around was burstng into fire and freezing over a second later, only Destin and Bel didn't feel the effects of the incredible temerapture change. *thinking* "Damn... this isn't helpful, I still need to do something here." Star landed on the ground, not making a sound, he looked around quickly. He let his lightning travel along the ground, searching for the strongest body/spirit/anything that was around. He followed the trail of the strongest return, not worrying what it could be. "No... no..." Stacice got up, looking horrified. Her body began to step forward, but she tried to hold back and run away, but she couldn't stop moving. She didn't care what NeoBowser was saying, she didn't want this, she just couldn't stop it. "Stop!" Fire sprang up in front of Stacice and her body stopped moving, but who had done it? "Sorry Siryx, something bad is about to happen." Serra rushed from the room and down the hall, sensing one of the only human energies around that wasn't totally cupport. She saw the portal open and the girl get to her feet awkwardly, when it didn't look like she was going to stop, she let fire lose from herself blocking the way. "Stop!" Serra paused as the girl stopped moving. "What are you doing with her NeoBowser! Leave her out of this, she isn't fighting you!" "Actually I was just checking up on things here. I need to report back to the guard commander outside." Hero turned around and went past the guard, he'd be detected for sure if he decided to fight, or if he even went down there. Fighting every single person that they were going to send to invade wouldn't be a great thing to do. *thinking* "What is that? I can sense another embodyment..." Hero turned from the space ship and looked around for the nearest exit. He had to find out what was causing this. "Dark Pheonix... what is going on?" Origin and Dark Pheonix both looked into the other relm through a new type of energy ball that showed them Stacice. "She's the embodyment of Destruction. One of the elements that make up the universe, not as pure as myself with the human side alive." "What do you mean?" "The reason NeoBowser is so powerful is because he is the embodyment of hate, like he just said, his power is equal to all the power of hate that live, just like my power is the power of the dark flames that still exist. Her powers can never become stronger or weaker though, they are pure, except that she is human and blocks it out. What NeoBowser wants to do, obviously, is make it so she won't block the powers out, but keep her identity." "This looks bad." Origin paused, he couldn't do anything about it, and would soon be facing billions of invaders. "Your over-reacting." A feminin voice spoke during the silence, making Origin look over. "Nijote? What are you doing here? I thought you decided to keep yourself out of fighting for good?" "I did, but certain things happened and I'm back to being an assassin. Anyways, it isn't as bad as you think. We have at least four embodyments of power on our side. Not really sure if Bel has that kind of potential, but I'm sure you noticed Star's lightning has got a lot stronger, Destin's fire has also increased in streanth, and Serra is becoming closer to her true soul." "Are you saying Star is the embodyment of Lightning, Destin is Fire, and Serra is the human soul? What does that make Hero?" "No Serra isn't human soul, she is of hope. Hero... his name says it all. He is a hero, the purest form anyways. We just have to rely on them." "They aren't strong enough, the elements are split up, making Fire and Lightning useless, Hope can be very tricky, and Hero isn't absolute certainty." Dark Pheonix brushed everything away that Nijote had just said, but Origin took it in, wondering if there was still a chance left. |

As the characters grow closer to destroy the last Links and get all of the Artifacts, NeoBowser is carrying out his plans as well... ____________________________________________________________________ Destin's attacks did not destroy Alexander... but it destroyed the integrety and stability of the armor, making him vulnerable. It was now possible to inflict actual damage to Alexander! Legion: "AAAAARG! FASTER! FASTER! YOU STUPID MACHINE!!!" ... During this time... ... However... there was no return. It was as if he was alone. Seraph: "It is useless. There's no one in truth. They all are memories of what they used to be... memories used as disguises for the grim reapers. Do not seek the strongest creature of this world. Unstead, try and find out what caused this city's destruction. There must be clues about what turned this city into a graveyard for UEN agents..." ... During this time... ... NeoBowser turned to Serra. NeoBowser: "How annoying. You dare to interfere with MY plans and to try and harm the Prime Evil of Destruction? Stacice is the very incarnation of all destruction and meaningless wars! She is my equal and the same power flow in our veins!" NeoBowser approached Serra and smiled. NeoBowser: "Who do you think you are anyway? Ex Lightheart? Just die and leave us alone!" ETERNUM! As NeoBowser yelled those words, everything grew dark as all life left Serra. Blades that did not existed and yet existed rained on Serra and ripped her soul apart. Then, a gigantic blade came from above and destroyed what was left of both her body and soul... NeoBowser: "Hmph! That's what you get for challenging the mighty NeoBowser!" Suddenly, Serra heard a voice... It was Ex Lightheart. She told her that she wasn't dead... that all this was a mere illusion and that she was still alive. She told her to exist once again. In a flash of light, Serra reappeared, completely unharmed. NeoBowser: "W... W... WHAT?!? How is that possible?!? You... surviving Eternum?!? What kind of being are you?!? Only Ex Lightheart can survive Eternum!" NeoBowser stood there for a while and then, he slapped his forehead! NeoBowser: "BUT HOW MUCH OF A RETARD AM I?!? Of course you resisted Eternum! The reason why the memory of Ex Lightheart did not awaken was that... you are the REAL Ex Lightheart!" NeoBowser smiled. NeoBowser: "I really didn't espected Ex Lightheart to exist in this Possibility!... but I'm not worried. You may have defeated me in my home Possibility... but you're definitely weaker in this world! You do not have your full power and the Element of Hope, the source of your power, is MINE!" NeoBowser took out his Trident. An eye appeared on the Trident... in the eye shined... ?!? The Element of Hope?!? Dark Weapon's soul was the Element of Hope!!! NeoBowser: "As you can see, I wield the Element of Hope! You see... there are 4 Good and 4 Evil Elements. The Elements of Good are Courage, Wisdom, Power, and Hope. The Elements of Evil are Hatred, Terror, Destruction, and Despair." NeoBowser paused. NeoBowser: "Back home... I was the Absolute Evil becease that I was wielding ALL four of the Evil Elements and you destroyed me becease that you were infused with the 4 Elements of Good. However, in this world, you do not have any Element... so logically, I should crush you easily, right? Wrong! When I came here, the Elements of Destruction, Terror, and Despair were extracted from my soul and given out to their respective owners and I was left with only the Element of Hatred. I was downgraded from "Absolute Evil" to just "Prime Evil"... which, of course was frustrating... but not that much since I'll get them again soon enough." NeoBowser pointed Stacice with the Trident of Souls. NeoBowser: "This girl here... Stacice... is the Prime Evil of Destruction itself! She is the wielder of one of the 3 Elements needed to make me whole once again!" NeoBowser put the Trident back into his cloak. NeoBowser: "My intentions aren't to harm Stacice however. You see... I do not need to kill her and get back my Element. I will simply go with her into the vortex and meet the spirit controlling her. Then, I'll use the Element of Hope united with my Element of Hatred to crush mercilessly the spirit and once that's done, Stacice will unite her power to mine, bringing me one step closer to what I once was!... and not only that, but she'll share my power, becoming, too, an immortal being of ultimate evil power!" NeoBowser laughed. NeoBowser: "Anyway... as you can see... Stacice is suffering becease of that stupid spirit. I just won't allow that spirit to harm any further that fine person who is a future friend and ally, as well as a potential girlfriend." NeoBowser grabbed Stacice's hand. For some reason, he blushed. NeoBowser *whispering to Stacice*: "Now... do not be afraid. All will be OK... I'll unseal your power and allow you to become the true Element of Destruction... and by that, I mean that you will truly be Destruction! Nobody will control you! I won't allow it! I promise you..." NeoBowser turned to Serra and smiled. NeoBowser: "Now, Ex Lightheart... Have at you!" NeoBowser jumped into the vortex, bringing Stacice with him. As the two jumped into the vortex, a wave of corruption sweeped and corrupted the realm where the spirit who controlled Stacice slept, allowing NeoBowser to exist in the spirit's realm. Also, as NeoBowser and Stacice jumped in the vortex, the vortex disappeared... but not without spawning a monster! It was a horrific mutated version of Stacice... Fake Stacice: "Heeheehee... I am Fakecice! I was created by NeoBowser so you wouldn't get bored while he's off to crush a no-good spirit and conquer it's realm." ... During this time... ... As Hero got out of the ship, he found himself back in the hangar. This basement was weird... altought it was supposed to be small enough, it was, in truth, as big as the planet's solar system. Thousands and thousands of battlecruisers were docked everywhere, being outfitted with weapons of mass destruction while even more billions of soldiers were boarding the battlecruisers. Looks like the UEN's forces weren't several times bigger than all of the planet's armies... NeoBowser obviously didn't planned to conquer their world... it was their entire Universe that he was planning to conquer!... and judging from the size of this armada, he would probably succeed unless the Chaos Heaven was destroyed before it could become real! Destin yelled as he jumped off and away from Alexander, hoping that Bel would be able to destroy this thing. *thinking to Seraph* "Do you think it is possible that this is one of the places one of the heroes were at, and maybe NeoBowser did it in spite of them?" Star looked over his shoulder, making sure no one was around, he really didn't care to be attacked right now, fighting wouldn't work in this place. He'd have to just... change it somehow. "Good, I can take out my anger on you." Serra leaped towards Fakecice, bring out the familier katana and slashing at the thing quickly. Fire and wind exploded out of the sword while Serra slashed downwards. "You might as well give up, you are no match for me." "Why have you come into this relm. You are not welcomed here NeoBowser. You are not of the proper blood line, and must be dealt with." The desimbodied voice spoke harshly and quickly. A haze just formed over the inner soul of Stacice, represented by an open field. "You have tried to taint this body and for that you must be destroyed." The haze became really dense in one spot, forming a human like figure. The figure looked just like Stacice, but the eyes were pure blue, no white showing. "I will do what is needed." Stacice could feel that this thing was incredibly old and incredibly powerful. She was still paniced, not sure what was going on, everything was just going wrong. Stacice felt an incredible pressure forcing her down and then chain materialized around her, picking her up off her feet and then holding her in the air. "Now NeoBowser, prepare your--" A wall of energy appeared in front of the Stacice look alike and Origin landed in front of the wall. "Don't bother yourself gaurdian. You stand no real chance against this guy." Origin turned his head to NeoBowser, a look a of great knowledge in his eyes. "I've been watching you NeoBowser... Ever since you tried to currupt me, I've been paying close attention to your every move, waiting for my own chance to strike at you." "Yes, and this would seem like the perfect moment, if only you had full power here." Nijote was sitting in a shadow of a tree all of a sudden, tossing a dagger up and down. "I'm not here to fight though. That'd be a waste of time. I'm here to find out why you are doing what your doing. You stepped in a realm assecible to me, so now is the perfect time to ask face to face." "... I need to get out of here. Well here goes." Hero focused on his spear, which made a black aura, and began to "wish". "I wish to be at the end of this room, to the entrance to the castle." |
