| Ex's voice echoed. Even if both Destin and Bel couldn't hear a sound, they could hear her voice. Ex: "Well... fact is that you DID die. However, since the fate of your world is dependant on you... I cheated a bit by using my power to revive both of you. Anyway... even going deaf cannot protect you from Death's song... but it will slow down it's effects. The closer to Death you'll be, the faster your Life Force will be drained and the more sleepy you will feel. There is only one way to stop Death's song... and it is to attack her, disturbing her as she sings! Find her location but DO NOT engage her from close or else, the song will sap your strenght so quickly you won't live long enough to strike her once. Unstead, find out where she is and use long-range attacks." Ex paused. Ex: "One last note... As long as I have power left, I will revive any of you, Serra, Siryx, and Star included, who will get killed during their fights inside of the Mirror Worlds. However, I cannot revive you if you die in the Chaos Heaven itself and while I can revive you once inside of the Mirror World, if you die twice then I'll have to revive you outside of the Mirror Worlds thus forcing you to restart the Mirror World challenge from the start." Ex's voice faded. ... During this time... ... The ninjas were spinning around Serra too fast for her to hit any of them however... and even if she had actually hit one, she would have struck an illusion. As she tried to strike one of the ninjas, the targetted ninja seemingly teleported behind her and yelled: Ninja: "Tsusakutsuken!" The ninja tried to hit Serra with behind with some kind of electricity-charged magical shuriken! Siryx, him, ignored the ninja however. He was standing in the middle of the circle, his eyes closed, as if he was meditating... Siryx: "Calm down, Serra. This is the raging flow of the battle river... Trying to fight it will only make you exhausted thus spelling doom. Come closer to me, my love, and ride the flow with me..." ... During this time... ... The room was flipped to it's default position and the ceiling closed itself. Star was safe now... ... Fake Origin: "Hmmm... too bad. It looks like the trap didn't got him... bah! Whatever! There's so many traps here, he'll never get to me. Huh? What was it? Did I just put emotion in my description of Star evading the trap? Is that what they call... an emotion?... ... ... interesting. I don't know why it is so... but it is." |

| Origin watched Star's progress, but an idea came to him. "If that is just a copy of my tower, then if I change my tower, it should change the reflection." Origin stood up and took his spear over to the wall of his tower. He just touched the wall with the tip of his tower, the wall disappeared all at once, leaving a part of the tower bare. "Well, I better get out of here. I wonder what I can do to leave this room..." Star began to look around, hoping for some kind of sign. (You got to tell me if that worked) Destin rushed forward towards what he thought was the source of the song, making sure that he wouldn't end up facing Death to closely. He could feel Star's sword starting to burn under him, trying to do something. He would have to wait for a while. "... oh yeah Ex distracted me, I got to make sure Bel knows I can't speak to him." Destin turned to Bel and shook his head, he had no clue how to talk in telepathly. "... We can't do that... That is never the right way. If you want to accomplish something, you have to stand up to the current and walk against it. Even if it drags you under, you'll make your wake." Serra turned towards the nearest ninja, confused about how they could see/sense her. Lightless was supposed to block all forms of perception off. Serra held Relentless in her hands, letting it speak to her. "Kill! Kill! Kill! Kill them all! Make them all die! Use me to kill them all!" The swords voice sounded like bloodlust in Serra's mind, but she knew better than to fall into this swords trick. "I'll release you, you can fight them." "Yes! Kill! Kill! Kill them all!" Serra released the sword and it floated towards the nearest ninja. The young Hero seemed to appear holding it, or at least it looked like him at first. Black armor soon covered him completely and the creature held onto the sword. "Prepare to die shadows. I'll kill everything!" This Hero look-alike dashed at the nearest ninja trying to strike it, but as the dark knight moved it seemed to leave after images of itself. A demonic aura emmited from it as it prepared to completely destroy everything that made the ninja exist. |

| Suddenly, the wall in front of Star disappeared revealing the staircase to the next floor!... but since the tower was upside down, it was impossible to reach the next floor. However, there was a second switch where the wall once was. What was that switch controlling? Only one way to find out... ... During this time, in reality's Origin's tower, an unknow feeling came into Origin's heart... It was... a feeling of sadness... and with this feeling came a wave of corruptive darkness. In Origin's crystal ball, NeoBowser's face appeared again as he laughed at him... If Origin was truly as intelligent as NeoBowser had planned, he should have figured it out that the Fake Origin was not meant to replace Origin... he was a vessel for Origin's new feelings. Since NeoBowser cannot corrupt souls that have no feelings... then he has created a fake copy of Origin who can have feelings. Using this fake Origin's powers, NeoBowser is forcing feelings into Origin, sapping away his resistance to corruption little bit by little bit... it was so slow it wasn't noticable... but it was taking place. Those new feelings were weakening Origin's will, making doubts and fear flow trought him... putting him in an awkward position mentally... so that NeoBowser would eventually control him. ... During this time... ... The song continued to echo, sapping their strenght. The song was from the north... and according to the speed at which their Life Force was weakening, it was far. Ex's voice echoed... Ex: "OK! If this continues on... you'll die again in no time! Just watch!" Suddenly, some kind of field of light appeared around Destin and Bel! Ex: "I've cheated a bit again... but whatever! I have created small vortexes that lead to the after-life. Death's power does not work on those who are labelled as dead... in fact, the dead are healed by Death's song. As long as you stand in those fields, you will be labelled as dead people and will be healed by Death's song... altought it will heal you at 5% or 10% the rate it depletes your Life Force. Anyway... if you run into another vortex, hit with any energy attack to create a "dead" field so you can heal and protect yourself from the song. Travel from vortex to vortex and find that undead mock-up copy of Death!" Ex's voice faded... for good this time. ... During this time... ... However, the dark knight struck thin air... just like Serra did. Out of nowhere, a ninja appeared behind the dark knight and screamed: Ninja: "Electrinujutsu!" It began to rain ice blades on the dark knight! Siryx, during this time, was still keeping his eyes closed and was smiling... he was amused by his love's attempt at hurting the ninjas for some reason... Siryx: "Relax Serra... Do you remember what Ex Lightheart said? Some foes cannot be defeated using brute force... We're fighting one of them now. Come to me my love... allow me to show you these weirdos' weakness..." |

| "Heh, way to go Origin." Star pushed the button, hoping this time, he'd land on the stair case instead of being thrown into nothingness. Origin would have never found out, having made sure his emmotions were buried within him to stop him from reacting with him, he would never have noticed being tricked, or at least he shouldn't have been. "Origin, your losing it." Origin didn't both looking around for who said the words, he already knew. "How so Dark Pheonix?" A laugh that sounded more like a gloat than amusement replied. "You're being tricked, I thought you were better than that. My god-like form has always had a weakness. To bad I never got to use it. It would have been a lot better than letting this wanna be do it." "First of all, I'm not you anymore, now tell me what you mean." Dark fire began to build up on the floor, leaving a trace of a huminoid figure. "You are focusing to hard, this old evil is trying to capture your power." Origin looked behind him at the now fully formed Dark Pheonix. All Dark Pheonix was, was a glob of dark fire that somehow learned to become aware. It was unbeatable by any method, even seals wouldn't work on this creature. It was all that was left of a once very strong entity and still it could be feared beyond reason. Having no soul or real mind to attack, it was more or less invincible, at least, until Origin seperated from it. "Check your emmotions, your experiencing them again, you have two choices from what I can tell. Let me take over, or quit while your ahead." Origin looked at Dark Pheonix, wanting to destroy it, but he knew he couldn't. "Fine, take over, but if I find out you did something wrong, I'll find a way to get rid of you." Dark Pheonix laughed again as he watched Star push the button. "Thanks Ex, I'm surprised how strong this song is." Destin looked around, he felt a lot better after standing in the bubble for a few seconds. He saw a vortex and held the sword out, he could feel fire rushing from it right towards the vortex. He dashed northward towards the vortex and a (hopefully) new protective bubble. "Oh, I'm not done yet, this has nothing to do with brute force." Relentless laughed as the attack hit the body. Its blood lust seemed to have no end as it kept laughing. "Time to die!" Relentless held the sword up as it glowed brightly. Soon the very ground began to get sucked up into the sword, everything was going into it, the only things left uneffected were Siryx and Serra. Serra got out another sword, Sanctuary. She held it in front of her and it disappeared, a white wisp began to move towards Relentless. As it got closer the wisp began to take a shape of an angle, it was so pure that it looked vastly out of place in this world. It held up its hand and mini explosions began to happen between the two. Light and Darkness beagn to destroy everything around them. |

| When Star pushed the button, a bridge appeared close to the ceiling, connecting the wall closest to the exit to the staircase. The bridge was placed just over the switch that was used to switch the place upside-down. ... During this time... ... Bel and Destin both reached the next vortex... however, there was no protective bubble. They had to strike the vortex first in order to activate the bubble! The two's Life Forces were being drained a bit faster... they're getting closer to Death! ... During this time... ... The attack didn't affected the ninjas... at all. They kept on spinning and spinning, even as the very ground was twisted beyond recognition. At this very moment, the ninjas looked quite... lame. It was if they were mere images or something. As the dark knight completed his attack, a ninja appeared behind him! Ninja: "BANISH!" The dark knight had no chance and was instantly destroyed. Relentless was teleported just in front of Serra. Siryx: "You don't quite understand... you aren't fighting something you can defeat by attacking it. Whatever you'll do, they'll counter it. | OOC the dark knight was just an image created by the sword so that it could voice itself in the real world, or fake world in this case. Sanctuary's pale form looked around, but not at the ninjas, but at Serra who just attacked fake copies of things. It wondered if its master couldn't see the fake images, so it started to create light around it. The started to cover a very surprised Serra who looked around frightened. She couldn't see past the light anymore, but her vision cleared and became that of true sight. Seeing nothing but the complete truth. "Crap!" Destin exerted some of his energy to make a blast from his sword to hit the vortex. Star ran back over to the switch, triggered it, and fell to the cieling bridge. He ran over and walked up the stairs. OOC Sorry, I don't want things to drag on to long... |

| Off: I know that the dark knight was an image... which is why he was eliminated so quickly. ____________________________________________________________________ Serra saw... nothing. In truth, there were no ninjas spinning around them. In truth, the entire city was deserted! She also found who was striking her... and who she had been attacking! Siryx and Serra had been hitting each others since the very beginning! Each of the ninjas' attacks were Siryx's in truth and each time Serra struck the ninjas, she had struck Siryx in truth! Siryx: "I hope that you now understand why I told you to relax... You see, this is a common trick that my ex-master likes to use... Turning friends against each others and seeing them destroy each others..." ... During this time... ... Upon impact, the vortex emitted a strange light and a field of protective light surrounded Destin and Bel. ... During this time... ... When Star arrived on the second floor he found out that there was no ceiling... and that the room was upside down. Entering the room itself was impossible in this state... But on the farthest wall, 3 switches were visible. Maybe one of them would turn the world upside down or activate some kind of bridge? |

| "I should have just climbed on the outside of the tower." Star shot the middle switch with lightning, getting bored with this tower. It wasn't near as fun as the original. Destin relaxed for a few seconds, he ran north towards another vortex, exerting energy onto it before he got there. "Lets go... I'm still confused, but it doesn't matter." Sanctuary and Relentless were both in their sheaths and Serra walked towards what could only be her evil self. She could feel the demonic aura. |

| The tower was turned outside down, making it possible to get into the room! However... it began to rain meteors in the room! They were not damaging the floor or the walls and they wouldn't form a barrier since they broke on impact with anything... but it sure makes things a bit more... complicated! ... During this time... ... Another force field, getting closer and closer... the enemy seems to be very near... but not toward the north. The song seems to come from the north-west in fact. ... During this time... ... Siryx followed Serra as they began to go deeper within the deserted town... Suddenly, they reached some kind of japanese-style castle. Siryx raised an eyebrow as he stared at the castle... twisted, as all buildings in Chaos Heaven were. Siryx: "Was there a castle in the original version of your town, Serra?" |

| "This tower is wierd. The original was full of enemies and other adventurers trying to get to the top. Damn, I hate copies and poor imatations." Star sighed as he walked, yes WALKED, forward. The meteors hit near him, but his pace made it so they never actually hit him. He walked to the other stair case and up it, hoping for a room that was fun this time. Destin noticed the change, saw another vortex in the path, and dashed at it, exerting energy to keep himself alive. He was close to Death now, all he had to do was finish it. "Not that I can remember. There was the boss' HQ though." Serra walked forward towards the castle, using her true sight to seek out any traps. |

| Star reached the third floor. In front of him was a staircase that seemed to go on forever. The fake Origin was probably at the top... ... During this time... ... Suddenly, a gigantic hand made of bones came out of the ground and crushed the crystal that kept the vortex active, disabling the protective field! All around them, similar hands appeared and destroyed all crystals, nullifying the effects of the crystal. Soon enough, clouds appeared in the sky and it began to rain... acid! The rain wasn't just a bit acid... it was acid enough to melt steel! Not only that but the song began to get louder and louder... and thus, more and more deadly. ... During this time... ... Siryx followed Serra. As soon as they stepped toward the castle, everything faded for a few seconds... and suddenly, they were back at the town square, with all the faceless people. In fact, it was as if they had been sent back to when they had entered the town. Siryx: "OK... that's weird... but on another hand, the Chaos Heaven is just so twisted and all that in fact, I'm more surprised that it surprise me than I am surprised to see that." |

| The hands were crushed by the meteors... but not before they could finish destroying all the remaining crystals. Also, while Bel's shield was protecting them from the acid rain... it wasn't protecting them from the song... ...and Death was obviously nearby... |

| "Damn... this is just a trick and an illusion. Everything else was, this has to be." Star sent electricty in front of him, searching out with it. While his mind would be vulnerable to a trick, electricty was just energy, by feeling when it reached the top, was how many steps it would take. Hopefully making all traps worthless. "Ok, one shot at this!" Destin aimed towards what he thought was the source of the song. He put all his energy into a single point on his sword, making sure to have dead-on aim. He let the energy explode off the sword, erupting in fire, across the land towards the source, hoping to stop the song. "Its another trick. Something tells me we haven't been moving." Serra looked around, trying to figure out which way would be best to go. "Lets head to where my home used to be..." Serra turned and walked in the opposit direction than last time, taking the familier way to her own home. |

| Off: To Dracoon: In case you didn't figured it out... the Mirror World in which Serra and Siryx are is the Memory World. In short, since the two are currently in Serra's memory, you shall be the one who decides how the envirronement is and what characters they encounter (exeption: only I can decide when the two will run into Serra's evil copy). ____________________________________________________________________ The electricity reached the top floor easily. It looked like as if there were no traps... ... During this time... ... Suddenly, the song stopped. The ground shaked for a few seconds and then... The horrific figure of Death appeared. Her body had not recovered from the wounds she had inflicted on herself when she was still alive and as such, gaping holes in her body allowed Destin and Bel to see her inner, half-rotten organs. Death's eyes seemed so... empty. It was as if she was just a mere puppet now... Death: "Who... are... you? Are... you... here... to... hear... me... sing?" ... During this time... ... | "Good, the stair case isn't that long. I know the exact number, now just to hope their isn't a hidden trap." Star started walking up the stairs counting to 100, he knew at that point he'd be at the top of the tower, but that was still to be seen. Destin took the scale armor from his ears and looked at Death. "Death, you're being used like a puppet... again... I'll end your misery this time, once and for all. Don't worry." Destin held the sword forward, concentrating energy into the point again, but this time a lot more controlled. "Be pureified by the flames and rest your well deserved rest." The fire erupted from Destin's sword, but at the same time he jumped into the air. The fire was half way between Destin and Death, but in the air. "Burning Dive!" Destin shot towards the fire ball he formed, and dived straight through it right towards Death, the fire traveled with him with a huge stream of fire going with him. "This place... it is so odd. I remember my home, who was their... everything." Serra walked into her home, looking around, noticing the very twisted flowers that were in jars. She walked to her room, looking for a mirrior she had, wondering if it would show her mother in it, like it always did. Maybe it would help her, give her the strength she needed. If only it would work the same. |

| As Star began to walk the staircase, everything seemed normal... it didn't looked like there were any traps. ...but then, when he made it half-way trought, he realised that he had cleared more than 100... then more than 200... then more than 300... and it just continued on and on and on and on... Slowly, Seraph opened her eye... Seraph: "Hmmm... Can I be of assis...?!? WHAT ARE YOU DOING STAR?!? THE... THE... ARE YOU BLIND?!? CAN'T YOU SEE THEM?!?" Seraph was seeing something that Star couldn't... and that thing was terrifying her! ... During this time... ... The attack struck Death but for some reason, Death didn't burn. Death: "You... do... not... understand..." Death stared at Destin... and yet, she seemed so empty that it was as if nothing was staring at Destin in fact... so creepy... Death: "I am happy now..." Suddenly, thousands of humans began to come out of the earth. They were seemingly normal... exept that they seemed unnaturaly pale and there was something in their eyes... it was as if they were as empty as Death. Death: "Join... us..." ... During this time... ... Serra's mirror was at the same place as in the real house... The mirror shown her her mother. She was smiling... Siryx: "Is this... your mother?" Suddenly, a scream could be heard! It was Serra's mother's voice! In the mirror, her face was twisted until she ressembled a lost soul... Her eyes seemed so... empty. Siryx was shocked by the sudden transformation. Siryx: "ACK! Talking about creepy! This image... Still, this is an illusion. It can only be an illusion! The Chaos Heaven cannot copy souls and as such, if this was real, the people outside would..." As he was about to finish his sentance, Siryx looked outside... Siryx: "... would... would... w... no... everything but this..." Outside, everything had changed. The world was no longer twisted... but the colors were kind of... dull and there was that strange purple fog. The sun was emitting dark energy unstead of light, which contributed to make the place all dark and creepy. While the world was no longer twisted... the people, them... their faces were twisted beyond recognition and their eyes were so empty... it was as if their faces were masks with nothing under them. Siryx: "The corruption is progressing much faster than I had tought... It looks like we're no longer in the Chaos Heaven... and yet, we are in it at the same time. I do not know how to word this in a non-blunt way so I'll be blunt..." Siryx turned around. He seemed completely horrified. Siryx: "Well... this is not an illusion. This is REALLY your hometown... or should I say, what NeoBowser turned your hometown into... and what your entire world will be if we do not hurry!" Siryx began to think... Siryx: "But the question is... where could be our target, your evil copy?" ???: "A copy? How very rude..." The voice had seemingly came from inside Serra's head and for some reason, Siryx couldn't hear it... ???: "Siryx's cute, isn't it? However... I preferred him as an Anti-Ex rather than as a wimpy hero wannabe. I mean... he should act more tough-like! Not as if he was weak!... not that it matters. You know... aren't you just sick of that whole "justice" thing? Aren't you sick of being forced to play those games just so you can get a shot at a guy which you can't beat anyway?
