| "I do want to kill you, but since you held up your end of the bargain, I can't... Anyways... lets go Serra, Destin. We need to get some of the badges we like best. Then we're going to seal this place so it is a proper tomb for Vivian. So I suggest you get out of here now Flick." Serra grabbed one side of the treasure chest and Destin grabbed the other. They then proceeded towards the dark door, thinking about where to find the next essence. Hero also went to the door, and waited for Flick to get up and move, when/if he did, Hero walked through it last, but while he was on his way out, broke a nearby support and ran out quickly. "Damn that stuff is hard, I think I broke my hand on it." "Stop complaining, we're both unarmed now, or did you not notice?" Hero looked at Destin, and a wierd smirk appeared across his face. "That's why we are going to get this Legendary Hero's weapon." "There is a way to defeat him... I just need to find it... Where is this Dark Weapon you were talking about, I think I should get it first, and then go on to find some of the essences. I might not be a Legendary Hero, but I know how to get out of these types of situations." Star was kind of surprised by Legion's display of fear. He said that fear is what kept NeoBowser strong... "Hah! I know how to defeat him. He'll still be around, but he won't have any power left to do anything. He is nothing more than the Bogi Man that haunts childrens nightmares. If no one fears him, he has no extra power. So Legion, why don't you just stop fearing NeoBowser, and leave this up to me..." Star began to laugh at his "genius" plan. "Oh yeah, which way to the first essence I need to get?" |

| As soon as the party stopped watching him, Flick ran for his life... ... During this time... ... Legion kept on staring at Star. Unholy Legion: "So... you are truly serious? Even after my long speech? Then I know that I won't be able to stop you. But first... you must know some things about NeoBowser's... weaknesses. The reason why we can't just stop our negative feelings from making him stronger is that NeoBowser, unlike other lesser Evils, NEVER weaken. As such, the more we feared him, the stronger he became... but when we stopped feared him, he did not weaken. For years, I searched for a flaw in NeoBowser, for a way he could be destroyed... and discovered many things. The reason that NeoBowser cannot be harmed by positive feelings is that NeoBowser, as scary as he is, is still a mortal. By remaining a mortal, he remains immune to anti-immortal energies and positive memories while still being powered by negative feelings. However, as a side-effect, it causes him to age like any other mortal and as such, he is constantly parasiting on new beings, draining their Life Forces in order to keep himself eternally young. In short, without an Avatar, NeoBowser would eventually age and lose his body, becoming a true immortal... and becoming vulnerable to anti-immortal spells. So, in theory, to destroy NeoBowser, you must kill his Avatar and seal him long enough... but actually, it doesn't work for it would work if NeoBowser's original body was long dead... but it is not. NeoBowser's original body is his only real weakness. It is sealed in the heart of the Castle of Origins, in suspended animation. If that body was to be destroyed, NeoBowser would physically die and turn into a lost soul. However... again, NeoBowser had tought about this issue. His body is constantly guarded by the twisted, corrupted image of the Creator himself, Chaos. Chaos... is powerful beyond belief. He may even be stronger than NeoBowser. However, Chaos is not a true conscious being. He is merely an artificial intelligence that was transferred into the Essence of the original Chaos. However... Chaos himself, as powerful as he is, is not the problem. The problem is that as long as Chaos' Essence will exist, NeoBowser's original body is eternal. Not immortal, eternal... which means that he's still mortal, but can't die. As such, to destroy NeoBowser, you must kill his Avatar and destroy Chaos' Essence... but Ex did so in the past and it didn't worked. Then the question is... what keeps NeoBowser alive? Why do, even with all of his power sources, he still live on? The anwser is quite simple: he doesn't. Actually, the true source of NeoBowser's immortality is the Time Loop. By forcing time to flow in a twisted, corrupted way, history repeats itself in such a way that no matter what happens, NeoBowser will live on. This Time Loop is the true source of NeoBowser's power. Only by breaking the Time Loop will the reality of NeoBowser's life will be shattered and that he will become vulnerable. However... to make sure nobody would break the Time Loop, NeoBowser did something... terrible to the Time Loop. If the Time Loop was to be broken, the Chaos Heaven would collapse and fade into innexistance, bringing all those inside it down with it... including all those who are remembered by those who were inside it." Legion became uneasy. Unholy Legion: "If you break the Time Loop and destroy NeoBowser... this twisted realm will collapse and you will die. But what is truly terrible is that EVERYTHING in your memory that exist in your own reality will be absorbed into this realm and consumed as well. Your home, loved ones, your planet, the sky... all that you remember will die at the same time as you. Destroying this world will cost your world an awful price... for this world to disappear, a part of yours must, as well. Becease of this reason, a third hero never rose to destroy NeoBowser. The people of my home Possibility gave up and fell into a state of deep despair. In desesperation, the people of my home Possibility used their powers to banish this world into another Possibility, hoping that the inhabitants of this Possibility would succeed where they have failed." Legion paused... Legion: "Anyway... now that you know that this quest will cost you your life, your soul, your memory, and the life of all those in your memory... If you are still decided to challenge NeoBowser, then you must know that your chances of victory are very slim... but are existant. First, you will need to steal the Dark Weapon. The Dark Weapon is a sword made of flesh forged from the remains of all the sacred weapons that NeoBowser destroyed in the past, merged with the bodies and souls of the brave people that died for the cause of Good. The Dark Weapon... is powerful beyond belief. It can slice the very reality itself, piercing trought time to deal fatal blows to even the strongest Evil. Unfortunately, the Dark Weapon can only be used by a descendant of the "Ex" beings... and "Ex" beings does not exist in your world. As such, you will be unable to use it... by normal means. If you can steal the Dark Weapon from Siryx, the leader of the Anti-Exs and ex-Avatar of NeoBowser, you will have the first piece of the puzzle. Once this is done, you will need to find the 8 Essences. I believe that a human named Hero has already one of the Essences... and I wield one of the Essences, as well. Star... once you are ready, should you still choose to challenge NeoBowser, I will open a portal back to the Colosseum. Your objective will be simple: steal the Dark Weapon from the enemy. Should you encounter NeoBowser, do. not. fight. period. You are not strong enough to challenge him and in your current state, he will completely destroy you. | OOC Basically Hero challenge Flick Judgement to a one on one fight, Flick tried to cheat using a badge, Hero got the badge away from Flick, Flick surrendered. Oh yeah, I need kind of an event for Hero, Serra, and Destin. They went through the dark gate, looking for the second essence, you didn't say where they wound up, and I have no clue. "So where are we." Serra looked around confused, they had dropped the badge chest and were just looking around. "..." Star thought over what he'd heard. Everyone that he remembered would die if he stopped NeoBowser's time loop. He couldn't simply fix the time loop... There had to be a way around it... "I'll just have to forget everyone before I do it.. I'll need to forget everything... Legion, open the portal, I'll hunt down Siryx and get the sword. I can't let him simply do this, if I don't stop him my world is doomed anyways." |

| Off: Serra and Destin has been in the room where we fought Flick so why looking around? ---------- Bel was thrown into the wall by the shockwave of the exploding fireball. He barely managed to teleport away from it the moment it exploded. He he had just been resting while regaining his strength and life force and listening to the others. He managed to stand up and walked towards the chest with the badges in it. Bel: Which badges do I get? I managed to scare off four shadow demons before I got here. They were weak. When they left they mentioned something about a Colosseum in Dimension 11 or something. |

| Upon crossing the dark gate, the party was teleported somewhere else in the chaotic realm. The party is now on a beach. The beach was beautiful... so beautiful. A shadow the size of a child was singing there. For some reason, it stopped as soon as the party appeared. ???: "So... you came... I espected you earlier... but you still came and it is all that is important." The aura of darkness that kept the party from seeing the shadow's true identity vanished. It was some kind of mix between an alien, an elf, a fairy, and a shadow demon and altought it was so small, it was also obviously a mature female. The being was strangely beautiful and for some reason, there was something about it that made it extremely attractive. There was no hatred, no evil in her eyes... ???: "Hi mortals... my name is Death. I am one of NeoBowser's top-ranked officers... and I have been entrusted with the safekeeping of an Essence. I had been waiting for you for so long... I tought that Flick would send you here via body breakdown... but it looks like you were able to reach this place by yourselves." Death laughed. Death: "Hahaha... this is so... pathetic. NeoBowser had made Flick into an officer becease he begged him and becease he was showing some premise... and a gang of random mortals whipped him so easily. What a wimp! Anyway... I am unlike this fool. I may not like NeoBowser... but I am the physical incarnation of the process know as "death" and as such, I am bound to him." In a flash of light, a huge scythe made of human bones appeared in her right hand! The scythe was like, twice her height and yet... she was carrying it as if it wasn't weighting anything. Death: "It is nothing personnal, really. I would have liked to hang with cuties like you and entrust the Essence to you... but I cannot choose who are my allies and enemies. Now... let us dance!" ... During this time... ... Unholy Legion stared at Star... Unholy Legion: "...maybe I was wrong after all... I had believed that a third hero wouldn't rise to defeat NeoBowser... but it looks like you have arose. OK then! As long as there is power in this body, I shall do my best to help you... but first, until you can acquire the Dark Weapon..." Unholy Legion paused. Unholy Legion: "Your sword won't help you much in this realm, Star. Allow me to give you a better weapon... a weapon that will both allow you to defeat your foes and navigate trought the chaotic realm..." Suddenly, a sword fell off Legion's body! It was a blue sword with 2 blades unstead of just one. Unholy Legion: "This is Seraph, a sword that was created using the same method as the Dark Weapon. While it is far from being as strong... it will be a constant companion. It will serve you well until the Dark Weapon has been acquired. It will also allow you to ride the streams of soul energy within this realm, allowing you to move trought the Chaos Heaven without the help of the chaos portals. | Serra stepped forward, she didn't look like she wanted to fight, and actually stepped forward with a frown. "Please... Don't fight... You can always choose your own destiny, Vivian sided with us and you can to. We don't have to fight. Please... Even Death should have a choice." Serra stepped towards Death and the sycth, arms open. Hero looked ready on the other hand, he was ready to interfere in a second and Destin was right with him. "Well... lets hope I can do this." Star reached for the sword and picked it up. He began to concentrate on the collosuem, but more specifically, near Siryx. |

| Death smiled. She seemed sad... Death: "I would like to believe you... but I am already free... or should I say, my real self is free. I am merely a memory of Death when she was bound to NeoBowser... and I will remain as such until I have faded away. I will never ever be free... for I am not real. Do not feel sadness for an illusion, Serra... unstead, allow me to help you..." Death raised her scythe and... SLASH! ...thrown it just in front of Serra! Death: "Serra... you think you have met Vivian, don't you? You never did. What you met was another illusion... just like me. This entire world is an illusion... and it is what will allow you to prevail. Serra,you may believe that you are human... and you are but... but in this world, one identity's is determined by his actions, not his original form. You will be able to assume another identity varrying on your actions, Serra... and I believe that if you collect the Essences and wield the Dark Weapon, just like Ex Lightheart did... then you will be become a memory of Ex Lightheart. But however... there is a problem. There is no guarantee that you may return to your original self upon defeating NeoBowser... and if you do not return to your original form, then you will be consumed by this realm which will cause a chain reaction which will spell doom for all those you remember. All your friends... all of your family... your very home... your very planet... it will all vanish along with you. Such a fate is a terrible one... but it is better fate than living in a world ruled by NeoBowser, believe me." Death took out another scythe. This was one was a regular wood one. Death: "Now... as a servant of Evil, I must fight you for the Essence. Don't worry about me, Serra. I am not the real Death, I am a mere, weak illusion. Destroy the memory before you that looks like Death, Serra! Do not allow it to become real... do not allow it to become real so it can truly feel the pain of it's own fate..." Death jumped backward, away from Serra and waited for her to took out her weapon(s). Death: "Bel... Destin... Hero... do not interfere. Allow Serra to act by herself. It is her task that she must complete alone. She must be the one to bring peace to the memory of a tortured soul that is standing before her..." ... During this time... ... The sword opened it's eye and stared deep within Star's soul. Seraph: "Whoa! Slow down, mister! I may be a sword but I have feelings, you know! Sheesh!" The sword paused... it's voice was really feminine-sounding which was completely weird... Seraph: "Anyway... you're my new wielder, isn't it? My name is Seraph. Starting from now, we're going to be partners so listen up! If you tought that you were strong before... then it is time for you to realise that in truth, you're completely laughable... but not anymore! Now that I'm here, I will use my powers to alternate your perceptions! Now, time will flow less than half the speed it used to be... to you, anyway! Also, unstead of using your body at 10% of it's potentail, you will be able to push your body to it's limits at any time. In short, you'll be 10 times as strong and fast as before! This is really good, isn't it? But the best has yet to come! Starting now... you can use me to pull off insanely powerful unique techs!... but the techs varry on every soul, without exeption and as such, as you will fight, I will progressively learn about your fighting style and how I could be used in order to create those famous uber-techs." The sword paused. Seraph: "Anyway... now that I'm done... could you please tell me some infos about yourself before we can actually begin our journey?" |

| "To bad Bel, I'd figure you'd be reasonable, or at least look around you. Me and Destin are going to let her fight this one, because we know she can win, and believe me, you don't want me to have to stop you." Hero looked at Bel with that ever present smirk, he then looked towards Serra who had already reached for a sword, but it wasn't any of the twelve Hero gave her, it was her own. "Even you still have a choices to make, don't waste them..." Serra unsheathed the great katana from her side and jumped towards Death. Serra slashed quickly, but it was more defensively than offensively. "You sure we should be letting her do this Hero?" "Heh, I don't see much choice, we're both unarmed and using a new trick, such as the badges, in a new fight where you could die easily isn't very smart. I can't use my fists on this one, because she would be far to smart to drop that weapon. Plus, swords aren't very good against sycths, but great katanas are fine." Destin looked at Hero, almost stupidfied. He'd forgotten Hero still had the same experience, but for him to just sum up the battle like that... "Woah! The sword is talking?!?" Star looked at the sword, surprised he hadn't dropped it when it first spoke. "I should've learned from Janus... His weapon talked too and it had ifinite space within it. Star looked at the sword for a second, shrugged, and started. "Well, in truth I'm about 30,342 years old, have been possessed, twice now, and really just used to fight for a good fight. That came to an end here though. I'm not fighting for the world, I'm not that selfless by any means, but there was someone I betrayed and lied to. So I'll fight to see them. If you need to know how I fight, I just use skill in all my attacks. I'm not that powerful or that fast, well at least on my own, but I've learned that just being skilled, can make you a lot better. That enough, or do you want to get started with chasing down Siryx so we can be one step closer to ending this." Star already liked the sword, the feel in his hands felt right, but he knew if he wanted to save this relm, he'd have to give it up for the dark weapon. |

| Death tried to block Serra's attack with her scythe... but she wasn't quite nearly as fast or skilled as the real Death and as such, couldn't block the slash. Death: "Huh?!? I didn't espected that... but you won't espect this, either!" Death thrown her scythe above her and... it began to float there. However, as it did, a dozen of smaller scythes teleported all around Serra and then were sent flying toward her! ... During this time... ... Seraph seen Star's toughts... Seraph: "So... you think that you'll just throw me away once you find the Dark Weapon? Well... that could be possible... or not. The Dark Weapon cannot be used by you. While the Dark Weapon is the only weapon that can harm NeoBowser... I will be far more effective against all the other enemies since you can use my full power... but not the Dark Weapon's. | "Then lets get on with this!" Star slashed into the air expecting to go to the collosuem and near Siryx so he wouldn't have to walk far. "Ummm...." Serra slashed at each of the sycths as they came towards her. She blocked the first six without a problem, but one of the sycths cut her across the leg. She dodged the remaining five and looked at Death. Serra was still sadden by the point that something could exist without free will. She lunged towards Death again, trying to slash it with the katana. |

| Strangely enough, Death barely attempted to block Serra's attack. It was as if she wasn't even wanting to fight in the first place but that something was forcing her to... Death used her powers to make the scythe fly back to her... which means that unless Serra get out of the way, she will receive a bad cut. Also... whenever Serra noticed it or not... her wound created from Death's attack wasn't closing itself... looks like injuries inflicted by Death are not healed by time. Only a spell, medical attention or something will close the wounds her attacks inflict. ... During this time... ... As Star slashed the air, it created a vortex that pulled him into another part of the Chaos Heaven! When everything came back to normal, he was back in the twisted town near the Colosseum. One of the angels living in this town saw Star arrive and couldn't believe it... he approached Star. (angel): "You... you are lord NeoBowser, right? We didn't espected you to return so fast... maybe you weren't so busy after all! Anyway... we know that you just love to demonstrate your power to everyone so... feel free to watch the Colosseum tournament or even participate in it! While we shouldn't let you participate since the tournament already started... we can always make an exeption for, master." The angel bowed before Star. They were mistaking him for NeoBowser! (which is normal since NeoBowser took control of Star's original body and that nobody knows that Star's soul escaped in time to avoid possession) (edited by Zerodius on 01-18-05 11:55 AM) |

| "Yeah it isn't healing, but it doesn't matter this fight will be over real soon." Hero looked at Death, not even bothering to return Bel's look. He already knew that Death and Serra didn't want to fight each other, and as such, there was no real fight going on. "Please Death... Just stop." Serra didn't move as the scyth came closer. She could see it, but that didn't stop her. "Death, don't let him control you. You should make your own choices..." Destin's eyes widened in horror, if Serra didn't move, she would be seriously injured and an easy kill for death. He looked towards Hero, who was still just as calm as ever, and wondered what Hero could have possibly been thinking, letting Serra fight this battle herself. Star looked towards the angel trying to pull off a very displeased and disgusted look. He needed this to work, if he couldn't find Siryx, it wouldn't matter what he did. "Why are you just standing there? Tell me where he is!" |

| Death tried to fight... but she was a mere memory, a puppet in the hands of the almighty NeoBowser... but as she saw Serra, her heart was about to break. Who was NeoBowser to think he could command her? He was just a mere memory of her terrible master, not the real thing after all... ...but memory or not, his power was greater than Death's... Death: "I am no match for NeoBowser's power. He has complete control over me... and there is nothing that can be done... but I can still do something..." Death prepared herself to slice Serra... but unstead, she flipped the slice upside-down and sliced herself in two! What was once Death fell on it's knees, and splitted open. All of the vital, red liquid that was inside came out of the destroyed entity, tainted the sand of the beach with it's red color. But as Death destroyed herself, she released her evil alter-ego, Doom. Unlike Death, Doom was more than happy to be free. Now that Death was out of the way, he would be able to carry on NeoBowser's orders MUCH more easily. In front of Serra was a hideous snake made of human bones. It's two arms ended not with hands, but with long blades shaped like the blade of a scythe... Doom: "Ssssseeheeheeheessss... Death has proven hersssssself to be assssss uselesssssss assss ever. Looksssss like I, the great Doom, will have to do all the work once again! Prepare yourssssssselves, foolsssssss!" Doom raised it's two arms, ready to split Serra in two!... but Death's Essence, the Scythe of Sorrows, glowed. The Scythe somehow placed itself into Serra hands, as if it was wanting her to wield it... A voice came whispering to Serra's soul... ???: "Use... the scythe... and destroy this pirate copy of Death..." ... During this time... ... The angel became very terrified! He was really thinking that it was NeoBowser who was getting enraged after him! Angel: "B... b... but..." The angel tought and started to calm down... Angel: "Wait a minute... You made the Dark Weapon the prize for winning the Tournament! I don't know why you did that... but you sure did it." The angel's panic was totally finished now. Angel: "You look like the master... you really do... but there's something... something different. You have his body... but you look and sound kind of... lame. Sorry but you're definitely not as scary as usual. In fact..." The angel smiled. Angel: "Yes! Most definitely! You're not the real NeoBowser! You must be a duplighost, a doppleganger or something like that. You sure did scared me... but the real NeoBowser wouldn't carry around... this!" The angel pointed at Seraph. Angel: "I guess I should call Legion to consume you whole!" The angel began to cast a summon spell... looks like Star's disguise didn't work very well! |
