Everywhere I go, I always see some idiot wearing the anarchy with such pride. When I call them an idiot, they dont even know why! It's frusterating I tell you! These delusioned morons running around wishing for no government. It's upsetting that humanity could produce such vegetable offspring. They dont realise that if there was no government, that they would have to fend off people who actually know how to use a gun. I tell them that, but they just say, "I'll shoot them first!" YOU'RE A FREAKING IDIOT! Chances are you're not going to get much stealing done, because there are lots of people who hate you and you'll be shot and all your stuff would be taken by someone like you who would be shot anyways!

Another thing you must realise: all that would be worth stealing won't work! Why? Because there would be no electricity! No electricity to play your silly little X-Box. No electricity to run your stupid little TV shows you watch. No electricity to do anything that you depend on so badly. You wont have the police to save you from all the many people who want to pound your face into your shoes. You wont have the thrift store to buy all the junk you wear from.

You probably dont even have wilderness survival skills! In the event of anarchy, you would have to run to the forest with a big gun to survive for a decent amount of time. You would have to learn what plants are edible. You would have to learn what insects are edible. You would have to learn how to build a shelter. How to build a fire. How to survive somewhere. What's this you say? Anarchy is sounding like boy scouts? THAT'S RIGHT! Anarchists dont realise that anarchy = boy scouts. You need boy scouts training to survive.

Wow! This isn't sounding fun for you is it? You may earn my respect enough to put you back at zero instead of some hopelessly low negative number if you burned anything you have that has that idiotic "A" in a circle on it. That's right. Burn it. Burn it all!

Anarchists are idiots unless they actually know how to survive. Then they're just crazy hermets...

Funny. Most people I see who wear anarchy symbols on clothing actually AREN'T for anarchy, or are for it in a playful (read: not serious because they know the system can't work) way.

Yes, I also wear this and I don't kill people (gotta get a few other ones, since I know a place to get them cheap)
So just for someone is wearing, don't consider their mind; it also needs if you are active or not outside

But as for topic, I dislike any cult or way people go which people don't allow to adjust their ways to reach their aim, but go really STRAIGHT forwared, without regards of losses. Tolerance might be okay, but some things cannot be changed. So the current police system or make the workers rule their own country. Of course, politicians in some (many ?) countries are corrupt and some of them don't know how to govern properly and fairly for all different groups, but without any government it might be impossible.

Tyranny or Anarchy might ber therotetically the best way (no one interferes, all decisions are final), but since humans tend to mistakes or cannot judge perfectly, there is no way to that thay practically

Surlent: Tyranny is usally refered to when a bad person is a dictator, so I think you ment dictatorship?

Anarchy would be fun, of course I'd move away, before everyone decided to nuke us.

The best type of government, on paper, is comunism though...

Yes, I meant dictatorship basically. Just considered the fact, people would rule for all people in the "right" way (equality, no priority to groups/people etc.), the same might go for anarchy; but as stated, since we tend to misuse powers, practically this might be impossible to be the best type of gonvernment

Bah. Anarchism works, in theory, same with communism. What most "anarchists" want isn't anarchy, it's chaos. There is in fact a difference, something most don't seem to know... Especially people who rant about how it sucks like Nebetsu. Linking to wikipedia seems useful now.

I'd like to live in a true democracy, think Athens in ancient Greece, where you vote on everything. Just with more people allowed to vote than in Athens

No opinion on anarchy, but you're rather nit-picky to care so much about people wearing a symbol for it. It's kind of fruitless because, as Colleen said, half of them don't agree with the idea or do it jokingly. That's like me getting irked with all the people wearing Christian symbols because I'm agnostic and I dislike the idea of organized religion anyway.

Just a symbol, no big deal

Be anti-anarchy if you want, but don't assume someone is stupid or that they actually think anarchy is a good idea just because they wear an anarchy symbol.

They're all idiots who just think anarchy == being an ass and breaking the law. I found one text file once that secured this theory: ANARCHIST PRANK PHONE CALLS. What the hell do prank phone calls have to do with anarchy? NOTHING.

One time I was at this old style theatre down town waiting to see Umphrey's McGee and I had to wait in line for a restroom. This guy in front of me pointed out the grafitti on the bathroom door and said it was his own signature, very proud like. I was like "Wtf that's nice I don't care." Then he goes on about anarchy and how everyone in the anarchy club or whatever has their own unique signature. What a jackoff waste of time.

It is currupted to a fault. The way we get leaders is by voting and the only way for people to vote for you is to advertise and the only way to advertise is be rich. So the rich rule and we didn't really do that much to anything about any type of government. We are hardly a democracy.

As much as I agree with the hilarity of people buying anarchy patches, anarchy is still an excellent concept.

Dammit, if Nebetsu thinks it's a good idea it must be dumb.

Seriously don't follow your own advice Nebetsu. Saying shit like this and talking about a field you have no actual knowledge of is what makes you look so stupid. If you DIDN'T then maybe you'd be likeable, but no, you're just another opinionated idiot.

Oh wait, I remembered reading the rest of his post.

Dear Nebetsu,

You know nothing about Anarchy and its implications. Anarchy has nothing to do with your ideas and preconceptions of it. What you see there is something called Darwinistic anarchy as my history teacher calls it. True Bakunin anarchy is an extension of Marxist thought wherein all people are given self-government. Existentialism at its best. You become completely responsible for your own actions, so even though there is no law or governence per se, the only thing that will keep people that are fools alive is the collective good will of the groupings of people. Survival in a true anarchy is based on good will. Which coming from a hardened cynic like me, I think that given hard circumstances people will generally be more apt to help each other than themselves. It is in peoples best interests if they are stuck between a rock and a hard place to work together. The dynamics of hierarchy are always prevelant in social creatures like humans, but with anarchy we remove the concept of overarching leadership and have it become small leaderships, like groups, teams, unions and towns. Say bye to large central government, that is what anarchy really is.

Sincerely,

Ziff

P.S: think. Better advice than just speaking.
