There was a poll about this recently. It's in General Chat; closed but you can still vote. It was closed over petty little arguments. Just thought you'd like to know, in case someone closes this one for being a duplicate.

Hmmm, if I'm not wrong, the other one was closed because of flaming. If this thread holds the line, it won't be closed. I'm not religious at all. But if I had to vote, I would vote for Christianity, but... No, that isn't the right thing to do. There should have been a choice which said "nothing". |

I'm agnostic... I do not doubt god nor do I believe him. Just a shade of grey really. Only during despirate situations would I rely my faith unto him. But I'm not that crazy about church, and I don't believe everything from the bible word for word. Not to offend anyone but from what I heard, the bible was written by St.Augustus, a self-proclaimed prophet. But I'd rather not argue about that last bit, life is too short to argue over history.

Only during despirate situations would I rely my faith unto him. That's kind of hypocritical. Not an insult, just an observation . Christian (or Lutheran, to be more specific). |

I'm neither religious, agnostic or atheist. I don't think there's a term for what I am. I'm simply...uh...not interested. I've been on both sides before and now I just don't care anymore. I really don't even think about it anymore. I guess you could call it a "neutral religious preference hiatus", for lack of a better term. I'm sure that will change someday though, and it will change again after that many many more times. I just hope that when my life is all said and done, I'm on the right side. Whichever side that may be. I wonder how good my luck will be. |

I'm an atheist. I lack belief in deity. Legion - I hope I'm not prying, but I'm curious because I remember your being a devout Christian. May I ask what happened? Was it just a gradual change of opinion over time? |

Doesnt seem odd to me. Technically all sects of christianity should be in the list. They all teach differently. Different versions of the bible. Different views on doctrine. Society is very cavalier in naming Christians these days.

The problem is that there are too many religions to make a feasible poll that includes all of them without grouping together a few groups. Anyway, I'm agnostic. I believe that we just don't know what the truth is about there being or not being a higher power, and, to stay on the safe side, I stick with that. I put all my faith into myself instead. |

you can lump Christians together because they all have a very similar belief system.... maybe when ||bass did his it would have been better to seperate it a bit more.... but when there are 5 or 6 choices... .one should not be catholic and another Christian, that is just stupid.... sure there are differences.... but not enough to warrant catholic it's own spot.... Kario: people are very cavalier about naming themselves Christians.... they go to church once a week, sleep through it.... and think they are Christian.... that's stupid to me |

How is a Catholic not Christian? Christian.. That is, belief in Jesus Christ... If Catholics arent supposed to believe in Jesus, tell me, but otherwise I consider myself a Catholic, though not a devout one.
