Gah, its coming... Christmas.

I've been trying to think about the kind of stuff to get people, like my Mum, and my brother for Christmas, only I'm kinda stuck.

I was just wondering, has anybody here already thought about what they're getting their family? Or even better -- are you super organised and have already bought it?

I'm still thinking about what to get for Mum, and I'm stumped. Not much better for my brother... if iPods weren't expensive, they'd be the perfect gift for him (he loves his music), but I'm not spending *that* much on that brat!

I have ideas. That's about it. It's one thing to have general ideas, it's another thing to actually go out and find the right stuff.

I need to go shopping next week. Probably after my final exam.

I barely even have ideas!!

I'm starting to get worried, I don't want to get caught in the rush. Christmas rush shopping is nasty as hell.

Eh, I wish I knew a little more about what CD's my brother has, so I could get him one he doesn't have....

I've asked them all for lists, so I have some ideas, yes. I haven't bought anything yet, though.

I know what I am going to get for some of them, but I can't drive, so I've not been able to go and get them something. It mostly depends on what they like, its sometimes a pain looking for somethin for someone, but its always worth it.

Tarale: What's so bad about Christmas rush shopping? I've never found it to be that bad outside of the fact that something I might want to buy could be sold out. I already bought one gift, and that was for my sister. I have to call my parents though, so they don't end up getting her the same thing.

Don't worry about not having money to buy stuff for people in your family, Bella. I'm in the same situation The only time I've ever had the money to get my family stuff for Christmas was when we were given $20 or so, and sent up to A Buck or Two in the mall.

There's nothing really bad with Christmas shopping, except for two things. Not being able to find the item you want if you go shopping closer to Christmas, and the crowds you find yourself caught in if you go shopping later on

For my sister: a GBA SP and a Pokemon DVD (The Jirachi movie. admittedly I'll end up watching that one with her ) as for everyone else...my dad tends to do the shopping for my mom and vice versa, though sometimes my sister or I will give them suggestions as to what to do (and we usualy have a say in which present ends up being from us ) I have cousins tooo, but my mom shops for them since I have no idea what alot of them like (most are older or younger, wether by a year or even 9. so yea)

I always find ideas more difficult than actually buying it. It's that time of the year you have to please someone.. the stress is terrible.

Taryn would likely go to the Body Shop, I think. (I assume they have them in Australia.)

Dollar store... eh... for stocking stuffers, yes. Sometimes you can find good deals on little snacks/etc. But NOT for serious Christmas shopping.

I don't really have that much money this year, but I'm gonna do my best.

For my mom and dad, my elder sister and I are going in on something big, so that they can get a really good gift from us instead of two crappy ones.

My little sister, I don't know. But I was thinking a new video game or something. She likes them as much as I do!

My girlfriend, I'm gonna get her a copy of Bujingai: The Lost City, because she's obsessed with Gackt. I'm excited.

For her family, I'm gonna get her little sister some manga, and her parents a gift certificate to a restaurant. They don't like me at all, but I still think it's a good idea to get them gifts anyway, in the spirit of the holidays, and because I care about their daughter.

My father, and my older sister..... I don't know yet. I'm kinda worried, too. School's been bogging me down a lot lately, and I'm afraid I won't have time to go out and buy them gifts.

I'm thinking I -might- just be looking forwards to two Ignition 3.0 pads with an adaptor come around that time or a little after...but I'll have to see...it'll be the first X-mas in a while that I have something to look forward to.
