Just because someone says that doesn't mean it's true (winamp 2.8 supposedly has a virus in it  ), they could be BSing or even just plain wrong.*Googles* Not hearing any mention of viruses, but apparently it seems to have a lot less users than they/it claim, and they're running proxy servers that would need a connection way faster than they could have. So I wouldn't be entirely trusting of it... |

| well, its supposed to search the kazaa, and gnutella networks, thats why I downloaded it, although trying it, it doesnt really wanna search for me...although its probably the fact that the computer was supposed to be rebooted after install, which I skipped, so ill try again later, when I reboot...so far, nothing bad seems to be happening... I suppose, its also possible, that the kazaa people, posted those fake warnings, lol..one user rating, said "I decompiled it back to its C++ code, and found malicious code at lines 98/99"...lol (edited by ? |
