| In the hangar was the all-new HydraXVI prototype... and... Blakes: "Alien Seph, Ex Lightheart... These are the most recent generation. They are the "Ex" beings ZX-109." In front of the Alien Seph and Ex was 24 beings that were almost identical to Ex Lightheart exept that they were normal (blue eyes unstead of red, no mechanical arms or legs, no second pair of eyes)... One of them stepped foward. (random "Ex" being): "I am "Ex" ZX-109 number B-103. We are the final work of the ex-Admiral Zerodius. We have been designed to hunt down and destroy Evil under all of it's forms... and we were also designed to defeat the ZX-108 generation of "Ex" beings, which was captured by the Guardians. We are merely 200 in total... but we are the most powerful soldiers you will ever meet. Admiral Blakes has told us that 24 of us, in short our units standing in of you, shall follow your orders." She stepped backward. Blakes: "I just found out recently that Admiral Zerodius had continued in secret the Project "Ex" and had succeeded on improving on the ZX-106 model. After the fKitten Yiffer of the ZX-107 generation, we tought that Zerodius had ended the project... but as you can see, he didn't. Also, we recently had reports about attacks from the Guardians on several planets using some kind of creature that looked just like Ex Lightheart... Ex, Seph, I selected the 24 best "Ex" beings and ordered them to follow your orders unstead of mine. They may be only 24... but if they are used well, they may alter the course of this war." Blakes paused... Blakes: "The ZX-108 generation is made of more than 3000000 beings while the ZX-109 is only made of 200 beings. In short, the Guardians have the upper-hand, number-wise... but we have an advantage over them. Their "Ex" beings have both a more limited potential and a poor AI. Our "Ex" beings have a very advanced AI that allow them to fight completely alone, without anyone to give them orders. The Guardians have programmed their "Ex" beings so that they would be unable to do anything but follow orders... and everyone knows what is the weakness of such soldiers. Ex, Seph, ignore the UEN for now. I, and the other Hunters, will slow their advance and keep them from recovering their power. Ex, Seph, go and take care of the Guardians." Blakes was about to leave but he stopped just when he reached the door... Blakes: "I had almost forgot! Ex, the HydraXIV has been repaired and upgraded. Seph, the HydraXVI is yours now. We have also decided to give to the Legion of Doom a battle Planetship class BioDisaster II. It will replace your destroyed HQ until you find a new one." Blakes left the hangar... Ex: "OK... | Alien Seph: "No... we ARE Ex beings Lightheart, both you and I alike... we may look different, but deep down inside, you may find that we are not so different afterall. That is why Havok is no longer destined for the assurance of your demolition, and the extention of your death: you must live... for the good and the protection of our species. You are no longer considered a target of ours for the same reasons that we are out in the middle of this brude war, which, by the looks of things, may last a lifetime. Without you and your new breed, the odds of us marching out victorious are close to none. Even with the strength of my own forces, we are still not yet strong enough to face them and have any chance, any hope, any prayer, of triumph. You must understand: even I am not yet ready to face off against their most powerful leader (NeoBowser), or even their Senior Leader (UltimaEx). Regardless of rank, none of us are yet capable of facing such adversaries, and, unfortunately, I have 2 very difficult quests along the way that I must fullfill if I am EVER to reach that level of power. This new battle will be our building block as, with the unifying force of the Guardian's souls (Seph learned a new ability, Soul Reaver, that sucks in eliminated targets souls and combines it to his own) in my system, I will eventually be stopped at some point by the UEN, but not easily. If NeoBowser were to take my soul, we would only be hurting his own people, as I will have the blood, spirit, mind, and soul of a Guardian one day, but I will not become the hunted, as......." Unfortunately, Seph was cut off long before he could even finish his sentence. Something appared to be "rising" to the occasion, and it was coming from Havok's own bed. Havok: "Guardians?!?! KILL THEM!! KILL THEM ALL!!!" Havok tried getting out of his seat, almost successfully, and tried to attack his own creator directly using his, but stopped when being knocked several feet away by the force of ZeroNumberX's vicious blow, perhaps nearly leaving a dent in his Xtillium armor, and pinned to his bed. Thank God for ZeroNumberX! Alien Seph: "...I met a man who could make my blood rebecome pure... that man being Gradius. He's the only one who provides the answers to all our lifelong questions, the only man who can tell us everything there is to know. He holds the key to defeating the UEN. We must take orders from him if we hope to become victorious. He alone can disrupt the Absolute Evil's power as it was he who gave him his power to begin with. Just imagine ME having the ability to do so... we could overpower him in a matter of days notice. And I CAN obtain that power... but it will be long before that happens. Both quests will go a long way, eating up what little time we have left, possibly to live. Which is why we must begin soon or else we'll have no hope." Alien Seph stepped back and sat down on a chair, head down and all, with his palm pressed against his head as if he were having a headache. Alien Seph: "I feel their presence as we speak. With a special power, I know just where they're attacking. They are headed for Xavior, the nearest city from where I come from. It is but 50,000 miles (yes, that's REALLY how big Seph's hometown is, or home planet for that matter!). It may sound like much, but we can get there in absolutely no time using the Lancer. Infact..." Seph appeared to be transmitting something to the Pilot of the Lancer... Alien Seph: "Send us in. We mustn't waste any more time, or else there will be left no traces of what is MY hometown!" |

| Pilot *transmission*: "OK then! Here we go!" The Lancer teleported! It appeared over Seph's homeworld... Ex: "Xavior... the world where the "Ex" project first started... of course, no "Ex" beings were born on this world ever since the Apocalypse... but, sometimes, when an Ex being's body shatters but that his soul survive, it is said that they sometimes get a second chance, reborn as an inhabitant of this world..." Ex turned to Seph. Ex: "You know something about that, do you? Hehehe... anyway... The magical and soul energies of this world are exeptionally strong here. We should do our best to protect this world as it is not only your home... but a potentially very important source of energy for our troops. The fact that Blakes didn't sent troops here yet means that it must be the Guardians, and not the UEN, who are attacking..." Ex paused... Ex: "I know Dreickonis. He was the General of the Hunters during the Apocalypse and was the leader of the Hunters, just below Zerodius and Blakes. Dreickonis is a psychopathic military genious, maybe even more than Zerodius. He will most probably test his new "Ex" beings soldiers on this world and then turn this world into a "Ex" factory. You see... predicting Dreickonis's plans are very easy... foiling them is another story. So... since Blakes seems to have aknowledged you as the general of the Legion of Doom... what should we do?" Ex opened her second pair of eyes and stared into Seph's soul... Ex *using telepathy*: "I'm used to battle "Ex" class soldiers. I am the one who defeated the legendary Anti-Ex, Lieutenant Shadow, after all! Don't hesitate to ask for my help. Also... Blakes gave you 24 "Ex" model ZX-109. Do not be afraid to use them. | Alien Seph: "Strange... very strange. Very few Generals have faced a crisis like this before. Dating back to the 21st century, Dimension 0 was just known as Earth, and the only non-human beings they've ever been forced to deal with are aliens... kinda like what we're up against now, only ten times worse. Having said that, I'd like to name a few dos-and-donts during our mission here." Seph stepped forward, with both hands folded behind his back. Alien Seph: "Numero one; DO-be on the lookout for anything suspicious. DO NOT-attack anything identified as a "villian" unless it charges at you first. Second, always stick together in packs to provide cover, obeying further commands along the way. Do not stray away from tactical orders given by the General, or I, Alien Seph, will have the honors of severing your head off before long. And thirdly, eyes open out there. We don't have exactly the largest number of soliders for this mission, leaving us more open to enemy fire than usual without the needed amount of protection. Stay on your guard, at all times, for I cannot guarantee that we'll all make it back safely, let alone have any survivors at all. Even as much as I WANT all of us to survive this mission, I'm afraid it's much easier said than done. Anyway, time to bring up our first objective...." Seph pulled a remote-like object out of his backpack and held it in the air in his right palm. Alien Seph: "Find the Guardians, stick to cover to avoid being seen, and plan a surprise attack. I've got a bunch of E9 Bogeys set to launch an air strike on the Guardians. Eventually, they'll keep fighting until finally, they manage to corner them into our mine trap that my X Sentinels have prepared specially for them. That's where we come in. The X Sentinels will come out out of the mountain crevices and spawn towards their extraction point, which, judging from their last encounter together, should be an easy target for them to handle. When the Lieutenant calls us in, we'll land strike them via Plan A: Missile Control. Hidden beneath the ground are some of our military controlled bases, home to some of our most powerful assets: allied control. We'll hunt them down with the MDs (Mobile Dolls; Gudam Wing mobile suits incase you didn't know) by force, and then sneak attack them by sending in our top Mobile unit of Wing Zero, Deathscythe Hell, Heavy Arms, Altron, and Sandrock. These Guardians may be strong, but there is no way that, with the right pilot, that they'll be able to overpower these fine pieces of machinery. Havok might be living up to his promises as well, which is fine as long as he doesn't attempt anything "suspicious" himself. Finally, we'll come in and attack all Guardians simultaneously in the provided sniper positions, but we must maintain high altitude. | One of the "Ex" raised her hand... (random Ex being): "This plan has a serious flaw... what about the enemy "Ex" beings? This trap may be enough to bring down most of the Guardians... but "Ex" beings are another story. Unless their AIs are really THAT weak, they won't run blindly into the trap! ...and even if they do run into it, "Ex" beings are perfect weapons. Extreme firepower is needed to terminate just one "Ex" being... and there is probably going to be thousands of them assaulting. So... in short... what do we do against the other "Ex" beings, should they survive to our trap?" Ex Lightheart and turned to Seph... Ex: "She got a point... most of these "Ex" beings are more or less at 25% to 50% of Mother Ex's power level... We will need some serious firepower to bring them down and many, many emergency plans in case the main plan fails... and since we're fighting "Ex" beings, it WILL fail." | Alien Seph: "That's where our ZX-109 "Exs" come in. We may be outnumbered, but they carry enough firepower to take out lots of evil Exs at one angle. You must understand: they've walked into the nucleous of our war plan, the very point of our attack. Lieutenant Zero will be out calling in reinforcement after reinforcement in a hidden location. We mustn't worry as we've set up a blockade specifically to prevent them from retreating. Provided, we also have a Random Explosions (Plan B) attack going, to keep them guessing at any given point at any given time. Not only will this bombard the enemy in constant surprise attacks, but it will give us time to send in reinforcements, and I have just the right number of them, too. They may have gotten away easily last time, but this time, they won't be getting away. This is the turf, the one and only turf, infact, which we are guaranteed success. The records show: we've NEVER lost a battle fought on our own grounds, and we won't beginning today. You got me?! Good. Now, let's roll in!" Seph pulled out some C4 explosives out of his backpack and started planting them all in a circle along the ground by his feet. Within seconds, Seph detonated and a huge hole was blown into the ground, leading to a secret underground tunnel, which, infact, was a runway leading into Seph's base. From here, Seph and the others could blow out of the ground and sneak attack the enemy from surprise. Then, Seph waited for the others to follow him down there. |

| Ex Lightheart and the other "Ex" beings followed Seph... During this time... Dreickonis: "Is everything going according to plan?" (random Guardian): "Yes. The "Ex" beings are ready." Dreickonis: "Stop calling them "Ex" beings! This was the name that mortal-loving Zerodius gave them... I think they should have a better name!" (random Guardian): "I think that "Ex" is a nice name..." Dreickonis: "DID I HEARD SOMETHING?!?" (random Guardian): "...no... master." Dreickonis: "Good. I think that the name "Doom Angels" is more fitting. They are as beautiful as angels and bring doom to our foes, after all..." (random Guardian): "... That sounds generic." Dreickonis: "WHAT?!?" (random Guardian): "I said that it was a perfect name, of course!" Dreickonis: "Good. Now send a few thousands Doom Angels on Xavior. My orders are simple. Slaughter everyone and destroy everything. Men, women, children... nobody must be spared! Also... no building must be left standing, not even a single one! EVERYTHING and EVERYONE shall be destroyed! The mortals shall see the power of their Gods!" (random Guardian): "And... what if the "Ex"... I mean Doom Angels wouldn't accept the mission?" Dreickonis: "Kill them and exhibit their bodies as exemples to all those who would want to rebel. They must be reminded that they are just mere mortals and that their lives mean nothing to us. They must obey us, whatever the order, and never EVER question our orders! We are the Gods that rule the Universe! The mortals have NOTHING to say about our actions or intentions! All they must do is worship us and serve us... and nothing more." |

| Unfortunately, little did the Guardians know that they were being "spied" upon! Alien Seph: "Got it! We know their destination, and we now know what to do with them. I've got so many reinforcements that they won't even know what to expect. We'll hit him with phony Doom Angel clones of our own, all of which look exactly alike in every way. They'll easily be fooled into thinking that their their own Exs and thus will ignite the Random Explosions technique. Then, we'll order whordes of air strikes while they are weakened, and throw in a bunch of surprise attacks from there. Now, let's move... slowly... toward the base." Seph crawled very quietly toward his underground base until he found himself inside the Control Panel. He picked up a walkie talkie and started to talk into it. Alien Seph: "Colonel, do you read me? COLONEL, DO YOU READ ME?!" (random colonel): "I hear you loud and clear." Alien Seph: "Good. Now, listen. We've got a delicate situation on our hands here, and we mustn't let there be any casualties. I order you to launch an air strike on planet Xavior approximately 10 miles from the city limit with the E9 Bogeys, but I must forewarn: DO NOT ATTACK UNTIL I GIVE THE SIGNAL! It has been reported that the Guardians are making their way into my home planet any minute now, and we mustn't let them escape... alive!" (random colonel): "Rodger that. | Ex: "I got one last question, Seph... what will I do? Do I basically stand there and do nothing, like most high-ranking officers do? ...or shall I take part in the battles?" During this time... (random Guardian): "Sir. All of our troops are ready." Dreickonis: "Good..." (random Guardian): "Shall we send the first wave?" Dreickonis: "No... I have a special attack plan... we will send the Doom Angels on the planet's surface while we wait on high orbit for any survivor to try and escape." (random Guardian): "And... when will the attack start?" Dreickonis: "You said that the Doom Angels were ready, right?" (random Guardian): "Yes, sir." Dreickonis: "Then it's time! Let's move out. I want 30 battlecruisers to surround the planet while the Doom Angels assault the planet." (random Guardian): "Yes sir..." The attack has begun... it was a matter of minutes before the first wave of "Ex" beings under the control of the Guardians would arrive... |

| Alien Seph: "There are 4 main oppositions among my squad... hunters (men fighting amongst the battlefield), snipers (self explainatory), defense operatives (setting up of a blockade), and the tactical unit (missionaries). You can be a hunter, heck, do whatever you wish, but it's highly suggested that we stay off the battlefield to avoid being bombed out by the E9 Bogeys. Infact, the rest of our unit must not and will not make a move until ordered to do so. So we just sit back and watch the awesome fireworks display that our mini-battlecruisers are about to put up!" Seph picked up a walkie talkie out of his backpack. Alien Seph: "Sarge, permission granted for takeoff. Deploy the E9 Bogeys and fire at will." (In Outer Space, minutes later.....) Thousands of mini-battlecruisers, with the E9 emblem implanted among the bottom of the ships, consisting of gray silver metal and approximately 1.5 times the size of Dreickonis himself, started to deploy out of the XR-409 and, within a matter of moments, could be seen over the horizon, hovering over what looked like small Ex beings. It seemed as though Seph had a strategy as whordes of them seemed to surround the Doom Angels from virtually all angles. During this time... Alien Seph (underground): "FIRE AT WILL!!!" It was then, in which the fireworks had begun! As the E9 Bogeys each started to drop gigantic Wave Bombs along the battlefield, which sent a HUGE explosion that was tearing right at their feet, and thousands more fcoming rom behind them. Seph watched as 5 Doom Angels for each Bogey were sent flying into the air like a rocket, waiting for the right moment to stirke. A direct hit would separate their skull from the rest of their endoskeleton. |

| Most of the enemy "Ex" beings did not react. Even tought many of them were ripped apart by the attacks from the E9 Bogeys, as soon as one of them was destroyed, another one would take it's place. During this time... The first of the 30 enemy battleships came into firing range. (Guardian Captain): "Sir. The enemy spaceships are in firing range. They are small, pilot-less ships... shall we open fire?" Dreickonis: "What kind of stupid question is that?!? Sure! Go ahead and blast them into oblivion!" (Guardian Captain): "You heard the master, troops! Fire at will!" The battlecruiser began to fire it's 6 secondary cannons! It was shooting small nuclear missiles at the E9 Bogeys! |
