| Time stop for me. It'd make things go so much smoother...extra time to think during an exam (or study before it)...transit would be, for all intents and purposes, much quicker, etc. Going back into the past to try to correct a mistake will breed new problems...plus those are the events that made me who I am. Not to mention, depending on how far back ya' go, and do differently, family histories can be altered, or local histories, or national, etc. Time's branchings are so many and so frequent that one change somewhere leads to larger changes down the road. Every decision every individual makes is another branching. So...yeah. Changing the past may make for a greatly different future. Now...if I could jump back to time/place x, do whatever, and have effectively the Ctrl+Z for the timestream, then I'd take the going back. |
