Actually, a Yoshi would be a cool pet...especially a blue one...

When it got hungry, I would just take it to the local high school and have it feed on students.

I drew this guy in class today and I decided to CG him. He's a turtle-body thing with metal wrists and 4 tentacles. He also has a bone crest and he a suction base like a slug or sea sponge. It clings to a rock and eats eels that swim by. He also has spore things on him which blast microscopic seeds all over the ocean planting more of these guys. I dunno what to call it.

On the subject of cats combined with other things, how about a cat-kraken? It's ridiculously huge and has lots of arms and tries to kill you and if I recall correctly it's evil. And it has the face of a cat.

Queen Metroid > All. Well, except maybe Metroid Prime. Prime vs. the Queen Metroid would be a match I'd be willing to see.

I'd prefer a larval metroid for a pet, though. Zeta or Omega if you want to stretch it. I mean, you want to limit how much you're going to get killified when your pet gets too excited.

Or something I made up...
Three catchillas. They are a cross between cats and chinchillas. Big furry oblong bodies, with small paws, slanted eyes, and big cat ears. They walk on their hind legs and can run really fast.

One will be about 4.5 feet tall with a light brown coat, the other about 3 feet tall with a black coat, and the third 1 foot tall with a white coat. They all run in an organized line from big to small.
