I haven't seen too many huge bugs, but a few tiny ones. Chrono Trigger (SNES only): Must have the Epoch. Just spam the launch/land button while on the Epoch. Since the song isn't loaded until the Epoch is on the ground or in the air, enough times, and you'll get the wrong song for a case. Example: Instead of the Epoch's song in the air, you'll get the current world theme. =\ MC Kids: I only managed to get this to work once. If you are close enough to the bottom of the screen, and not fall off, it still counts as dying. Adventures of Dino Riki: If you are in "macho" mode, and there is a shitload of enemies near you, and if you can't avoid them, keep getting hit before you lose that "macho" status. That way, you can't die. Once "macho" status is lost, you can die again. Final Fantasy 7: If your chocobo is close enough to a sub, and you try to get on the bird, the hit detection may be off, and you'll get on the sub instead. In that case, being on land, the game just crashed. Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past: Once you beat Ganon, go as far up as you can without entering the door (many times). Then fall down. Wrap around room... I can't think of any others at the moment. |

I can't remember the name of the game, but me and my friend both bought a copy because it was 2 dollars brand new. The reason: If you look at the first boss, the game locks up and erases your memory card. (thank god it was a crappy X-Box game that was designed to save to mem. card only.) |

I bet I can explain a lot of these... Missingno I do believe that this was intentionally programmed, but not for debugging purposes, and was not supposed to be accessible. See, in the game's source code, they would have declared types (structures) for each Pok |

This glitch kinda pissed me off: Prince of Persia: Sands of Time. Towards the later half of the game, there's this "elevator" lift thingy, right? You have to fight a whole bunch of sand creatures on it, and Farah helps you. Since Farah is involved in the fight, you can't let her die or else it's game over and prince goes "DUR IT DUZNT GO TAHT WAY LETME TRIE TELLIGN DAT PART AGAN". Anyway, here's the glitch, I was done with the fighting, but for some dumb reason, Farah kinda froze, and stopped following the lift up, so she kinda fell through the floor. Game over. How lovely. Oh, and when I played pokemon years ago, I didn't have missingno, instead I was graced with *glitchtile**glitchtile*'M(apostrophe M)*glitchtile**glitchtile*. Still did the same thing though. I was dumb that I didn't put a masterball in that slot, I had rare candies in there. Should have switched them out. Oh well, doesn't make a difference. |

I was reading the stuff about Rare not being nearly as bad as Rockstar when it comes to glitches in games, and the only game I've played by Rockstar is GTA:VC, but I still remember one sort of glitch in it. I hadn't unlocked the second island yet, but I was just riding around on a motorcycle (PCJ, or whatever the acronym is), and found myself on the road leading up to a gate blocking you from getting to the second island. I went full speed at it, and for some reason when I crashed into the gate, it sent me to the other side I went around after that looking at the new area, and saved the game without realizing I couldn't get back to the other island I did eventually manage to get back, but that involved stacking cars and trucks up against the side of the gate so I could jump over Any other glitches in that game that anyone knows of? I can't say I remember very many in that game, besides the one I just mentioned. |

Originally posted by Davis That could happen, it depends on your name. But Mew is #15h in the internal array, and I don't think you can ever use anything below 7Fh in your name. On one file, I would fight Blaine there, and he had glitch Pok |

Originally posted by HyperHacker Mario 64 Black Room Of Death Just some bad collision detection. The purpose of that room is so that when you open the door, you see blackness instead of water and the walls of the castle (as the castle on the outside map is actually hollow). There's some other collision detection bugs on the roof too. You can walk through the back flagpole things, and if you go as far as possible to the back right corner, hang off, and climb back up, you go through the invisible barrier and end up out of bounds, at which point the game removes your hat and kills you. Also the reason you can get out is that there's just no hit detection on that side of the wall. The real question is why there IS any on the one outside. Then why is their a door in there? Using a GS, I found one glitched pok |

Ok! Anyone remember that strange bug in Zelda II? There is one town later on in the game, you have to go through some mountain stage to get there (don't remember the name). Now, walk to the second part of the town. Then, change yourself into a fairy and fly high in the sky. Now keep flying to the left. You'll see a part of a door in the sky, enter and you'll fall down like if you'd fall into a pit. You'll be in the town again, but the whole world be glitchy from now on, with strange people saying strange things and grass being water and that kinda stuff... |

What I meant about the games being destroyed was that they use an MBC1 memory controller, which seems to be very weak (I've had about 5 of them blow already), and a glitch such as this could end up burning it out. BTW thanks for the name info. If only it had been several years earlier. (BTW, the move was 'TM44'; it did act like Selfdestruct but then the game crashed and erased the saved file.) |
