| I want to make a hack, but i don't know how to do something. Could someone help me with some stuff? I want Mario to be replaced with Kooper (from Paper Mario) Can I have a chain chomp somewhere in there? Luigi should be replaced with a Koopa named Trooper. His shell will be black! The part that says Nintendo presents should say KoopaCorp Presents. Finally, replace Super Mario World with Kooper's Journey of Large Proportions. Can someone help me with that? I can handle the rest. Whoever helps me, will recieve credit. |

| Get a tile editor... Extract the graphics... Open GFX32.bin in the tile editor and change it to SNES mode. Edit the graphics so they look like a koopa troopa. Then in LM change the palettes to fit this (shouldn't be too hard figuring out which ones). Change the parts that says Nintendo Presents to KoopaCorp Presents in GFX00.bin in a tile editor. Kooper's Journey blah blah blah... Enter LM and type Chelsea in to the level editor, go to the overworld editor, and press F11. Open GFX28 and 29 in a tile editor in 2BPP GameBoy mode, edit the graphics that say Super Mario World to say... What you wanted... And assemble them in the title screen editor. Note that every time you change the graphics you'll have to insert them back in to the ROM for it to take effect. (edited by Kratos Aurion on 12-03-04 02:21 PM) |

| So you want somebody to create the main character and the Koopas for you? It won't happen. If you want something done, it is best you do it. You can easily make glasses on the Koopas. Making a new Mario sprite however is more of a challenge... So I will quote from Edd off of Ed, Edd n Eddy: "You'd have a better chance of penetrating reinforced concrete." See, when you come up with this idea as a newbie and you want somebody else to get it done, then when they get done with it they might want to use it. I sure would if I made a new Mario sprite, as he is the hardest sprite to draw. Lots of work is needed to do that. Besides, asking for someone to do something for you without you even trying is just bad. That shows you really don't even want it that badly. |
