(Note that [SMK] is used to refer to a remake of a racetrack that was in SMK. Also, I included an "other" choice because with this many options I'm all but guaranteed to have missed one. And, to be honest, since there are already polls about the other three Mario Kart games (the ones that I've heard about being released, anyway) a poll about this game was inevitable.) Well...I wasn't sure whether or not I should post a poll for the "most annoying" or "best" track, so I picked "most distinctive" because it could be either...or it could be a track you find to be particularly weird or funny...  (I don't think I explained that very well...)(edit: The reason why I put a spoiler warning in the topic title is because you have to do quite a bit (well, not really) of playing before you can get to a lot of those tracks.) | Tie between Rainbow Road and Cheese Land. Though my favourite course for seriously racing on is Ribbon Road because I simply do NOT lose. There's a huge shortcut. Slow down at the turn just before the first jump (let the AI pass you if need be), and line up with the zipper. Hit the zipper, hit the jump and pull hard to the right, and you'll land about 3/4 through the track. (Though if you turn too hard you just fall off.  ) You can also turn left; it's more fun because when you land, you have to pull a 180 and hit another jump, but that takes longer. |

I don't really consider any track to be the most distinctive overall...I thought both Rainbow Road tracks had good music and good graphics (although the non-SMK one was better in that aspect) and there were several courses I found particularly frustrating, including Yoshi Desert and SMK Ghost Valley 3.Originally posted by Peardian Erm...not sure what they do, besides get in your way. | Rainbow Road, definitely. The giant shortcut allowed me to do a lap in 13 seconds (hehe), and lap 5th place twice with 5 lap mode... Hell, I've managed to wait until they were on lap 3 to start and I still managed to finish in first XD The shortcut takes quite a bit of skill, too, becvause if you screw up a little bit you're gone, not to meiton the path one of them takes is rediculously small |
