OoC Teddylot: Hey there cool guys. It's me ... with a new story. Well, it's not really new because it's actually a remake of the old Hogwarts thread started by Yoshina, but this time it's gonna have a better beginning and hopefully a better end. If you don't remember the old thread or you weren't around for it, then I think it would be a good idea to tell you that this is a day-to-day story and there is no set plot besides that of going to a Magic school. You can come up with your own intricate story inside of this one if you want to. Also, for timeline purposes, this story takes place in the third year of the Potter Universe and during the year 2002 Alternate Universe S.F. Well, that's all from me. Just buckle up or something because this intro is fairly long.

---

Two teens were walking around King's Cross Station trying to spot anything that could've possibly been out of the ordinary. Ever since the beginning of the summer, they had encountered things that didn't sit well next to reality. Now, they were looking for something that most people walk by every day but never see. The two boys stood in the middle of a platform with a cart loaded with two oversized trunks. An eyesore amongst normality.

Zap: Alrighty. There's platform nine ... and there's platform ten. Platform nine and three-quarters has to be somewhere between the two.

Twister: Are you actually trying to make sense out of all of this? For all we know, that stupid platform, or whatever, could be in the ceiling.

Zap: I'm just trying to look at all of this in a logical way.

Twister: Yeah ... a bent logic.

There was some rustling inside one of the trunks and it suddenly popped open all its own. Out came a teddy bear with a clueless, but happy look on his face.

Teddylot: ... Hi guys.

Zap: GAH!

Zap quickly flipped back over the trunk's top in a frantic motion, but before closing it he said something to the teddy bear in a faint whisper.

Twister: What did you tell him?

Zap: Just that we're almost there.

Twister: You sure?

Zap: I'll figure it out soon.

Twister turned to his friend, put his hand on his shoulder, and gave him a sincere look.

Twister: You know ... not everything can be explained.

Zap looked at Twister then looked down trying to avoid his eyes. He was about to answer when they were interrupted once again.

Teddylot: *GASP GASP* Oh man, it's hot in here.

Twister: *glare*

Teddylot: Sorry, sorry. I'll shut myself back up. *closes the trunk* So take off all your clothes.

Twister: *removes his hand from Zap's shoulder* Do you have a lock for your trunk?

Zap: Yeah, but I don't want to cage him or anything.

Twister: Whatever. Let's find that stupid entrance.

While Twister stood with the cart, Zap went out to inconspicuously look at the the different barriers and columns. He was about to go back to the cart and give in until his hand sunk into the column he was inspecting. He staggered a bit and tried to cover up his blunder to make it look normal. Twister saw the discovery and quickly wheeled the cart around to line it up with the column. Zap got up and went over to him.

Twister: So what's the master plan?

Zap: We're gonna put on a small act.

Twister: Won't that ... attract attention?

Zap: No ... it'll seem normal, something we haven't been doing since we got here.

Twister: Gotcha.

Zap told his friend about his plan in a low tone, then led the way. He took over pushing the cart and walked with it halfway towards the exit. He turned it around 180 degrees, then started toward the supposed platform nine and three-quarters at a slow run. Twister followed soon after, putting on the act of him chasing the cart. They gradually sped up respectively until they were almost at full speed. Zap was about to lose control of the cart when he hit the column he had inspected earlier. He went right through it and didn't come out of the other side. Twister was fast behind him and decided to skid the last few meters. He also took the slowed moment to salute a police man who had been eyeing them suspiciously the entire time in a patronizing way before disappearing through the entrance.

Police man: ... *hat tips over*

Twister fell into a much different world to the one he left. All sorts of kids just like him were walking around with their parents. However, the area brought back short memories of a place much like this one. Some kids were carrying around large trunks and trying to get on the train. Others were showing off their new pets or just gossiping about events that had occured last year and over the summer. Although the attitude was similar to that of the 'real' world, this world had an aura that was just plain ...

Twister: Magical.

OOC: No plot to follow means no need to worry about messing up a story! Woohoo!

Zap's cart slammed directly into a young man with a suspiciously small trunk, as opposed to the torrent of gigantic pieces of equipment storage that crowded the mystical platform.

Janus: "Ow, man! Watch where you're going!"

The boy, who looked suspiciously overage to go to school, was carrying nothing but a duffel bag and a wand, dressed in white robes that made him look, to say the least, a little UN-stylish.

"I swear, kids these days, no respect for a little thing called "right of way..." And don't give me any crap about not walking in front of the pathway, everyone knows it's the fastest way to get to that damned train as it is! Now if you'll excuse me, I'm in a hurry, I've viciously underpacked and I need to get to that school just as much as anyone else does."

He rustles off, mumbling something about Defense Against the Dark Arts and revolving doors...

((Yaay... finally came out after being planned for.. um... Well, since it came out in theaters ))

A concoction was brewing inside a duct taped cauldren...

Somewhere... In a random city in Europe.... A few days ago...

Kirby: Alright... It should be just about ready.. What's this? Why is it yellow? I don't recall..

Dingpot: Um... I forgot to mention.. Something kind of flew inside...

The talking cauldren sent a chill down Kirby's spine. His transformation potion seemed to have become a fKitten Yiffer and he didn't know what the reason was. It didn't bother him too much, however.

The room Kirby stood in was rather untidy. Books, papers, test tubes, and random articles of clothing were strewn everywhere. A gentle breeze whispered through the slightly opened window near the cauldren. The blue cap wearing lad steps over to the window and peers through the glass.

He had the town house for a long time, but he never ventured out. He doesn't even know who the neighbors are, even the one that's on the other side of the wall. Unfortunately, Kirby's random thoughts were halted when the cauldren let out a burp.

Kirby: ... Dingpot? Are you..

-------------------------------------------

At King's Cross Station....

A boy, donned in blue garb, sat on a bench, staring at the great train before him. It didn't even bother him that his blue bandana, blue jacket and the rest of his attire seemed a bit out of place. But he didn't care. He was quite lost in his thoughts, trying to collect what he could. A blue owl sat on his head, and tried to comfort the spikey headed lad.

Coo: Don't fret, old boy. I'm sure it was for the best. You'll have a smashing time at Hogwarts.

Kirby: .. but.. How did they find me so fast? How did they know I was already... Ten years old? *sighs*

"Well... he has an attitude... I guess no one should critisize him, eventhough it was his own stupidity that took him into this mood."

A kid, not much different that the rest, stood near Twister and Zap as he absentmindly talked to them about the person who they had just run into.

"From the look on your face I'd say you aren't used to magic are you? Well, doesn't matter, no one here actually knows how to use magic, oh and by the way, I am Luke, and we'd all better get on the train before it leaves."

With that, Luke turned away towards the train lugging his own cargo. A few thoughts raced through Luke's mind as he wondered exactly where he was going to. Of course he had eard of Hogwarts, but he had never been there, and he wasn't quite sure if what he'd been doing was going to get him in trouble.

OOC: Kirbynite and Teddylot, it's your decision.......

Janus pulled a potion out of his bag...

"Let's see..... Rilgar's Fizzy Refresher, huh? Looks a good bit like muggle soda. I wonder what flavor it is?"

He downs the potion and coughs a bit after swallowing. A small explosion can be heard in his stomach as a burst of carbon dioxide comes out of his mouth in the form of tiny burp.

"Interesting.... Root beer!" Suddenly, the clock strikes, and Janus glances at the King's Cross train. "Ah, I'd better board that."

He walks toward the train, spotting Zap and Twister in the crowd, along with Luke, whom he thought looked slightly familiar. Another time, another story.

As he and his satchel board the train, the conductor gives him an odd look, and wonders why he's packed so little.

Conductor: "Excuse me, sir, but you're going to Hogwarts, right? Are you sure that one bag is going to be all you'll need?"

Janus: "Trust me, sir, it's a very reliable piece of equipment."

OoC: Eh.. I have to think about that. I never thought about touching the Potter stuff that much.. and I forgot that the DADA class was quite an important thing ;;

---------------

Kirby: Coo, quiet. A talking owl isn't something that's normal.

Coo: Hoot. Hoot, I say.

There were a lot of children and adults running around, waving wands in the air. However, he really didn't pay attention to any of the conversations. He was still caught up in his memories.

-----------------------------

He turned around and slowly inched towards the bubbling pot. Before he realized it, Kirby was laid out on the floor, covered in yellow goo. The entire room was decimated by an explosion of the fKitten Yiffer that once simmered inside of the cauldren. Everything was drenched, from furniture to walls.

Kirby wiped the gunk off of his clothes, He searched for his cap, which was knocked off when he was gooped. He placed the cap on his head, and immediately realized something was wrong.

" ... It's big. Why is it big?"

Kirby gazed out the window. He immediately lets out a shriek.

"EEYAAAAAAH! I'm a kid! Dingpot! What did you do?"

"You were the one that made the potion."

The two boys felt a bit uneasy being talked to by some kid they had never met, but once he left for the train they figured that they'd better do the same. They began to wheel the cart around toward one of the train doors to unload it.

Zap: *looks at his watch* Oop, we better hurry. The train's gonna leave soon.

Unknowingly, they wheeled the cart in front of a ten year old sporting a blue cap who seemed to be lost in thought. Then ... well, stuff happened.

Teddylot: *bursts open from his trunk* Woah ... it smells like bird poop in here.

Zap: Gah! ... Oh yeah. You can come out now.

Teddylot: 'bout time.

Teddylot fell out of the trunk, picked himself up, and turned around to face the blue-capped kid.

Teddylot: *staggers a bit* Hey there ... nice bird.

Zap: Teddylot! What'd I tell you about talking to strangers?

Teddylot: *looks down* Don't annoy them.

Twister: *cough*Lock!*cough*

Teddylot: Coughdrop?

Twister: ... uh ... no, I'm fine.

Teddylot: You sure? I heard those nasty coughs could kill a person.

This series of events had caused some commotion and some of the parents and older students were looking at it out of the corner of their eyes. One of them was a tall, sinister looking man with long silver hair and a pointed face. The look on his face was one with absolute disgust, but before he was seen by even the crowd, he disappeared.

Teddylot: *pockets his coughdrop* Fine, if you want to die.

Twister: Whatever.

Coo: See? They even have talk--

Kirby immediately grabbed the large bird and pulls Coo behind the bench.

Kirby: *whispering* Didn't I tell you to keep quiet?

Coo: But--

Kirby: It's Sir Teddylot. I told you about him, remember? I had met him recently.. but.. they've never seen me as a human before.. But I can't let anyone know anything! So.. just keep quiet...

Kirby crept out from behind the bench, letting Coo fly back to his perch atop of Kirby's suitcase.

Kirby: I'm getting hungry... maybe there's some food on the train.

-------------------------

"That's right. And I could just make something to revert it. ... Um... if... I could only remember... Wait a minute... I... can't remember... Oh no... I.. I lost time and my memories?!"

"Looks like you lost just a little bit of both.."

"Argh! What am I gonna do? "

And with a stroke of luck, a letter crashed through the window. Kirby quickly turned his head to see what the commotion was about and was hit in the face by the same letter. He quickly runs up to the sill and looks outside. Nothing out of the ordinary except for an owl.

Luke looked out the window of the train and saw the two people he had talked to, and a wierd little thing, and now another person who seemed deeply troubled. Luke sighed and wished the train would start going, it had already been delayed quite a bit, and he really didn't feel like waiting.

"I told them to get on the train. I wish I could just play a song, but that would look wierd even here. Funny though, that a bard is being sent to a wizard's school..."

Luke had been talking to himself, when he should have just been thinking, but he had grown to used to it. Walking around everywhere with no one around does that to a person, but at least he wouldn't have to worry about being lonely. Luke looked out the window again expecting to see the three people, the wierd owl, and the wierd little thing that resembled a teddy-bear.

Teddylot: I have a cough drop you could eat. Apparently, they taste like Jolly Ranchers. *pulls it out of his pocket* And apparently, this one's grape flavored.

Twister: *mutters to Zap* C'mon. Let's load our stuff onto the train before it leaves on us.

Zap: Good idea. Umm, Teddylot. We're gonna load our stuff onto the train. You stay here with the cart and the other trunk while we take this one onboard.

Teddylot: Before you guys, go are you sure we're on the right platform. This could be platform eleven and one-third or platform nine and six-eighths or platform fifteen and two--

Twister: Trust me. We're on the right platform.

Twister and Zap lifted a trunk from the cart and pushed through the crowd to get onto the train.

Teddylot: *turns to the kid with blue cap* ... so ... what's your name? I'M Teddylot! Super cool bear extraordinaire and avid adventurer.

Kirby reared his head back as Teddylot eagerly presented himself.

Kirby: H-hi. Um.. M-my name's K-kirby. Kirby Neo Nite. Pleased to meet you. This here is my owl, Coo.

Coo: Hoot. Hoot.

Kirby: Uh... erm.. I see you don't have the local dialect. *stomach growls* It's nice to meet you, Teddylot... But I'm getting very hungry... so if you don't mind, I'm gonna head to the train. Now where did I put that letter...

Teddylot: Kirby ... Kirby ... why does that name ring a bell? ... Maybe I owe money ...

Twister: Hey there. Kill anybody while we were gone?

From behind the bear returned the two teenage boys. Zap was not too far behind Twister wiping his glasses.

Teddylot: Well, actually--

Twister: Good. You now get to join us on the train.

Teddylot: What's on the train? Food? Cough drops? Maybe some delectables?

Twister: Maybe. C'mon help me with this last trunk.

Twister took hold of one handle of the trunk and Teddylot the other. The result was very uneven leaving the trunk almost scraping the ground.

Zap: I'll put the cart away.

Before leaving the area, Twister stopped by Kirby.

Twister: Sorry about any inconveniences my little friend here has caused. He's a bit ... clueless, if you know what I mean. By the way, I'm Twister. Hope to see some more of you.

Twister led the way with Teddylot struggling with the back end of the trunk. They mounted the train and soon were no longer visible.

OOC: Still waiting on your call...

Inside the train, Janus decides to have a little chat with his bag.

Janus: "Oi, Satchel, what do you know about magic, anyway?"

Satchel: "Well, considering what I'm made of, a good bit. You never really bothered to ask me until recently."

Janus: "Yeah, but this wand stuff... Why can't I just use incantations and not have to wave a piece of wood around?"

Satchel: "Because that's not the way magic works in this universe. You need a wand, use a wand."

Janus: "Bah, I never reallly took much truck with magic. Don't even see why I learned it."

Satchel: "Well, regardless of how much you liked it, you certainly picked it up fast. You've got potential."

Janus: "Yeah, but what's it all for? I'll probably end up forgetting about it all eventually anyway."

Satchel: "In a place like this, I sincerely doubt that."

Kirby finally had a chance to board the train. After much searching, he presented his letter.

Kirby: Really! I did get the letter. I made tons of xerox copies so that I'd make sure I have one. There's no way I could've forged this. Look! It's even got a moving seal, see?

Kirby holds up the copied piece of paper. A stamp in the shape of a seal is seen moving around on the paper.

Kirby: Oi...

At the platform, a tall man dressed in a flowing black trenchcoat and matching fedora was walking towards the train. He had packed rather lightly -- all he had was a regular suitcase, with rather simple locks at the top. He stepped onto the train, then opened the suitcase, and showed a letter to the conductor, who nodded and ushered him in.

The man strode down down the aisle, entering an empty compartment, then setting his briefcase down on a chair. He sat down by the window, then finally removed his fedora - revealing frizzy hair bunched into large spikes, and a pair of opaque, circular, wire-framed glasses, that seemed to glint dangerously with every ray of light that struck them. He seemed to emit a strong aura of both dread and immesurable power.

He placed his fedora beside him, then folded both hands over his stomach and fell asleep.

"Well that guy isn't disturbing..."

Luke said as he motioned towards the man that had just walked past him, in the black trenchcoat... Luke looked at the other guy that was talking to his bag, and shuddered.

"Well, I guess an oddball is better than a dark evil looking person."

Luke turned back to the window and looked out of it. Everyone was in a frantic rush as the train was about to leave.

Kirby looked at the man dressed in the black trenchcoat. His eyes widened as he saw who the man was underneath the hat. He seemed familar, yet it didn't seem like the same person he thought it was. The spikey headed lad shook his head. It wouldn't matter, since anyone he'd know wouldn't recognize him.

After some more squabbling, Kirby was allowed onto the train. He let out a sigh of relief, only to have his spirits dampened at the fact that his cap was blown off by the wind. The cap didn't fit snuggly on his head due to the fact that it didn't shrink with his clothes. Unfortunately for the now capless lad, the train officials wouldn't let him get off.

Kirby: *sighs* Not fair...

The cap was eventually picked up by a girl, and clenched the cap very hard....

Janus: "I guess they're gonna just tell the students I stayed back a few grades, or something. Whatever the case is, I'm not ten years old."

Satchel's opening flapped with his speech...

Satchel: "You're not ten, but you've certainly got the mind of a child. Look at you, you're talking to a duffel bag!"

Janus: "Nice. You're degrading yourself, you know."

Satchel: "Me? Who's the one waving a piece of wood around and wearing a bathrobe?"

Janus: "It's not a bathrobe!"

The two of them continued squabbling as they nonchalantly found a cabin that just happened to be empty...

Kirby stumbled through the crowded halls of the train. He's never seen so many young people aboard a train at once. It was like something from a dream. He enters a car that has several cabins with open doors.

One cabin is empty, another has someone who seems to be paying attention to a bag, and another had someone staring out the window. Kirby decided to use an ancient technique in figuring out where he should go.

Kirby: Eeny... meeny... miny... moe...

--------------------

The blue cap was kept nicely warm within the grasp of the girl. She had a rather stern look on her face, almost as if she was looking for something. A glowing creature, appearing to be a tiny dragon but with a lower body that turns into swirls, circles around the girl.

"Are you really sure you should be doing this?", said the creature.

"Of course", replied the girl. "I must find out how to fix this. I don't want to go through life again like this."

The boarding line shifted a bit. The girl grabbed her luggage and took a few steps forward. She brushed her free hand against her head, moving her brown bangs out of her view. She obviously did not feel strange for wearing an all white outfit, with her baggy pants and flowing, longsleeved shirt.

The man in the trenchcoat couldn't sleep. He couldn't help but feel a bit excited -- he was only in his early twenties, after all, and he had scored a job at Hogwarts -- you couldn't get much better than that. His job as an Auror had taken a sharp downturn for the boring the moment he got it -- nothing exciting ever happened. No Dementor attacks, no activity from Voldemort's followers, nothing. Working at Hogwarts would be a good change of pace. With the happenings in the past few years involving Harry Potter and very peculiar occurences at Hogwarts, the year was sure to make for one hell of a long book.
