| Well, I beat the game with 150 stars a few hours ago... Good game. I recommend it to everyone. Seriously though Wario sucks, Luigi is brokenly good, and Yoshi isn't much fun to play (though playing as him is definitely different). So really, only Mario is worth playing... And Yoshi to a lesser extent... The prize for getting 150 stars sucks incidentally. There's one uber-cool thing though - the theme to Dire Dire Docks. I've got 80 stars now.. And I don't like too much that I have to keep going back to Mario if I wanna go somewhere that involves Bowser  I like playing as Yoshi a lot more than the other characters. It's almost like playing a Yoshi game in 3d  And I don't have to keep running back to the changing room if I need another character. |

I have 149 right now and missing one of the castle secret stars.  Spoiler: I think its the one where you have to get the 8 red coins from the boos in the castle courtyard earlier in the game.
