I could use a "blank slate" patch that gets rid of all the storyline stuff at the start (IE. when you get out of the truck you can just walk around instead of being lead into your house, birch's speach replaced with just a few menus, etc.) I tend to have ideas without any means of turning them into reality...

It's a nice Idea, anyway, the player can pass of setting the clock. Lot of time events could be lost if you don't set the clock

1) Birch can check for the "time" to be zero, that'd imply it hasn't been set.

2) There really aren't that many timed events...

3) Matt, your patch kills the rom. Hangs in the intro speech, when the player shrinks down to sprite size.

Well, maybe they aren't much... but it's funnier with time events. And maybe they (you) somehow find a time event command for rubykon and then you can put night and day in the game...
