We've got a DSL connection using a router, but for some bizarre reason, the router keeps disconnecting itself from the adsl line and Windows says something about a limited connection. I don't know a lot about LANs and all this, anyone have any ideas?

Specific error messages would help.

Well the only real error message I got was 'Unknown problem'. Which is as much help as a drunk monkey. It just keeps timing out at random sites. It might just be a bad line or something. I really have no idea.

Could you still just take a screenshot? Even if it's just a simple error. I had some network problems due to my router, but never got anything like that.

What brand is the router? It could be, in worst case, fucked up. You could try factory reset (which sometimes fixes problems), but you would have to set up everything again after that.
