| DK Mountain was the shizzle. Only map I got to play, but I had hella fun on it. Sure it was a little tough on me because I was never able to get the hang of how balancing characters, etc. worked. But it was still almost as fun as DK Jungle in 64. | |||

Nothing beats Rainbow Road here. You have to be a good player, not only to have luck. The track design is unusual, but cool, the colours are smooth and the music, of course, is one of the best tunes Nintendo ever has made. It's much better than the MK64 version |

| How about Bowser's Castle? I love that course. Part of what makes it fun is the difficulty and the amount of things that can go wrong on that course. I mean, who doesn't like to have giant fireballs spewed out at them? Plus, I like the music too. | |||

| Baby Bowser could have had an Isle Delfino track, but that was taken by Peach Beach. Is Peach Beach on Isle Delfino, anyway? It looks like it might, but I don't recognize any landmarks... I like Bowser's Castle, too. It would be better, though, with bushes. | |||

| That's why it's fun! It's a very small, crowded, mostly-straight track with big 180-degree turns, and items can pass over the middle barrier. After 7 laps of Bowser shells, Bananas etc it gets REALLY hectic. And DK Mountain > DK Jungle. Go up a really steep hill with surprisingly little speed loss, shoot through a cannon at 195kph, then navigate your way down another really steep hill, flying over bumps and dodging huge holes in the road. Way more fun than going over a jump, around a few curves, over a bridge and up a hill, while getting hit with the occasional coconut. Also I noticed they fixed a physics bug that was in most of the previous MK games (as in, all it applied to). You now LOSE speed when airborne (which makes sense, your wheels aren't moving you). More realistic, but kinda sucky, especially in DK Mountain when you go over the big bumps. |
