Who likes the simplist most stupid layout, oh and btw most predictable layout on the planet. I gave up on the more advaced ones and made this one cause the coding was to hard for me to figure out.

But can someone tell me how to make my link a darker color...say...navy?

...what code? You're probably using the background option, which never shows up for me on the board, but after looking at your profile, how can you have trouble making that work?
Just cut the grey part and align it to the top, and make your background blue. It'll probably load faster then, and show up properly <<;

But.. but all you did was make a layoutish background-image. If you ever make a long post it won't look pretty.

Anyway, it's not bad, despite its simplicity. Readable, and yeah. It's ok.

Do you like this layout better? I dont know how
to make a table in the black part so I just use
breaks.

If you might replace the default Windows descriptions (not too hard using PSP or PS) by custom ones, preferrably links like "My Profile" insted of "My Documents" - of course not everything is needed, it would be good

Make it so the left box containing the folder information is much shorter but the body (including the blue and white part) stretches when writing a longer post. And then just add the bottom frame to that.
So it might be good and just fit, when the text goes into an frameless input area in the "white part"

The second layout just sucks: On multi-colored backgrounds with a high contrast it is very hard to read text above it
