| How many of you live in the same town as another member on this board? And who are those members? A few people who live in my town used to post on this board, 2 were fairly active a while back, but they haven't re-registered since Acmlm's board started over again. I know one member on Acmlm's personally (he didn't reregister again with the board-relaunch), I have one two users from here on my contact list, but don't know them in RL - since they live in the US  I know some other people personally on that board, since some of them in live in Berlin like me; we meet sometimes. Meh is located in the lonesome rural town of Dresden. All alone.  Nobody wants to play with me... Instead of that, I frequently encounter (weird, isn't it?) some people living in towns that were subject of one of our goddamn English lessons  (e.g. BMF in Spokane - we did a lesson about that town too, although the year's main focus was on some nest called Issaquah, which should be somewhere around washington (the state) too).Sure there are some people on the board I'd like to meet rl, but (a) I'm not sure whether they'd like to meet me (see above) and (b) do I have neither the time nor the money (which are literally the same) to leave my continent or even just this country. |
