Well, the good news is it won't be hard to modify...all you need is 'overflow: auto' put in to your (sample text) DIV and some height and width settings.

But I would wonder why you would need it when it seems to be a decent stretch layout already...scrollbars don't go very far in browsers past IE.

well when i was looking at it in my display with stretch for text it relooped the side image over and over which looked sloppy because it cut off the bottem one half way. I'll try the overflow though, was toying with it ebfore but forgot to set parameters, thanks alot.

Seriously ... don't use a scrollbar, they're very annoying.

I just get annoyed when I have to scroll down to read a post seperately from the page itself.

Thats a perfectly fine non-scroller you have there. Just add a style="background-repeat:no-repeat" in the td or div you have set up. It looks like a nice post-layout, don't ruin it my making it scroll.

lol, thought someone would notice that, i was stuck using some shitty windows 95 comp when i was programming this so i could only use mspaint. Imma change it inna few so it won't amke any dead links. I'll do what you guys say and kill the scrollbar idea, thanks alot for the input

I'm having trouble inputting the no BG repeat command, do you know exactly where i should put it? i can show the sorce code if you want

You have to define that in CSS not HTML.

It's be something like:

<style type="css/text"> .thing { background-image:url(whatever-url) background-repeat: no-repeat};</style>

That would be before the rest of the code...and then in your DIV/TD for the the background needed you just label it as class=thing in the tag.

Holy shit, that's definately too wide and too high for that matter.. And what do you know, this seens like a question, Is this a question? Regarding layouts? Do you ask for help?
It sure seems like it. There is a perfectly fine layout help thread stickied in this forum. Use it.
