| Wow I'm....amazed. I think it's so absurd to hold so much hatred for one man. I mean...what did he do to you exactly? What reason do you have for hating him with such deep conviction? As many civilians as possible are cleared from the area. Only military instillations or places where enemy forces reside are targeted. If things happen, it's because of a mistake or people didn't leave. And what "massive numbers of Muslims" are you talking about exactly? The extremists who AREN'T muslim? The people who love violence which goes against everything the muslim religion holds dear? I don't think so. I'd appreciate it if you, MathOnNapkins in particular, would refrain from generalizing about people you know nothing about, about issues you obviously don't comprehend, with absolutely nothing to back up your statements. |

| I just hate stuff like this. I may not like a certain president, but I'm not going to go around accusing him of attrocities like that. What did Bush do to deserve such treatment? I mean honestly. And then to not only flame about Bush, but to generalize about people who might agree with him....that's taking it way too far. I don't criticize anyone for voting how they vote. It's our right as Americans to vote how we want to vote regardless. The point is not who made the "right or wrong" choice, because there is no such thing. Everyone feels differently about everything, and to "lose faith" in America for who is president is ridiculous. People vote for their candidates for a reason, and we should all respect that, whether you like them or not. I have gained faith in my country because more young people registered to vote this year than ever before. To me, that's an enormous achievement in of itself. I don't see why we can't have a civil discussion about these issues without making rash and hateful statements. Just my opinion... Btw...about the gun issue....I rather like my second amendment right to bear arms personally... |

Uhm... no. We bring our own resources in and we build our own facilities for the most part. This isn't vietnamn anymore. I think you've seen the movie Platoon one too many times. I am a soldier, I did not attention storm or shield, and I am involved on the war on terrorism. I am in a support unit, and whatever conspiracy theories you managed to think up are false. I know we haven't dropped bombs with the sole intent of killing civilians. We have smart bombs, and tactical bombs. We have minimal civilian causalities. What uranium are you talking about? If we dropped tons of uranium, we would be at MOPP level 4 (basically, gas masks, full anti NBC gear) for the next ten years. The only thing CLOSE to having anything to do with Uranium is depleted Uranium rounds used in tanks. I'd hardly call that tons. I think you need a new hobby. Just stick with what you do best: chilling in front of that computer, doing your little programming, and let's not make false, uninformed stories anymore, please, thanks. |
