| Amphros, if you are basing your opinion on Gundam off shows like Wing and Seed(or other Alternate Universe Gundam anime), then I see what you wouldn't like about them. All Wing(and some of Seed) is is 5 pretty boys in invincible giant robots who take on huge armies at once(repetitive action sequences), and somehow, whenever they kill large amounts of innocent people, it's OK. Whereas in other series(Universal Century based ones, bit of Turn A, and X), it is much more difficult to defeat so many opponents at once without wasting ammo or having your Mobile Suit overheat. Also, let's not forget that many of the grudges between two armies in UC based Gundam shows are mainly founded upon the fact that the other guy killed too many civilians.(shit, Titans, a little of the EFSF) And another thing I like about UC Gundam shows is how they reflect humans more closely. I don't think there really was ever a clear "good guy" and "bad guy" in any of those shows. | |||

| An anime called Armageddon that was on TV here years ago. Other than having a very very thin plot, it also ripped off several scenes of movies like Star Wars and other anime cliches. The animation was awful, the storyline pathetic, and none of the characters were particularly likable. Next up was Angel Cop which had better animation, and more senseless violence, but did a very poor job of drawing you in and making you care about the characters -- more to the point, by halfway through, I wanted them all to die. |

| I absolutely hate hentai. The plots are usually worse than most pornographic films that aren't animated, and it's just plain sick. It's not anime, in my opinion. I'm also not really a fan of the Tenchi Series. And I HATE Dragon Ball Z. I have a huge list of anime I don't like, actually. But since this asked me to list the tops, I gotta go with those three. But I'd like to give the Tenchi Series another try, seeing as how I only saw the heavily edited American dub that they showed on Cartoon Network awhile ago. It'd be nice to know if the real version was any better or made any more sense. |
