So the next Crystal Star is in Boggly Woods? *shuffles through some files* Boggly Woods is inhabited by a species of creatures that look like... *find the book he was looking for* this! Gyromite shows them a picture of something that looks like some sort of gray insect. It has large googly eyes on the top of it, like some sort of muppet. It also has a large colored ball hanging from a drooping antennae. Gyromite: They are called "Punies", and despite their size, they are quite intelligent. That'd be the best method of getting there. It should be somewhere near where that stupid chest was. Jack: ... Hey, Professor, I just noticed something.. Where's that robot of yours, ROB? Gyromite: *sigh* I didn't want to worry any of you... I sent him to find some data on the Crystal Stars a couple of weeks before Fem came to help me. He should have only been gone a few hours, days at most, but he never returned. *turns away from everyone, staring out the window* Finally I looked for him myself, but there were no clues to where he disappeared to. The local authorities have so much on their plates that they're not concerned with some old man's missing robot. *looks down at his desk, covered in papers relating to the Thousand Year Door and the Crystal Stars* They probably thought I was just crazy, for that matter. *looks at everyone else again* Normally I wouldn't be worried. ROB knows how to take care of himself... But his homing beacon was deactivated. ROB wouldn't have deactivated it himself, and it isn't something your average person could do. |

| -------------------------- While not too far away from Kirbynite and his cohorts, a red and yellow creature pops out of the sewer warp pipe. It turns out it's that silly Waddle Dee has followed Kirb and his friends. Slowly, he struggles himself over the rim of the pipe and onto the ground. From the look of his eyes, he's definitely not happy about the way he was discarded as if he was lesser than a Goomba around here... Surprisingly though, he hasn't bother to notice where Waddler-Doh has gone. Waddle Dee: Them bastards, I can't believe that just... ignored me like that. What do I have to do to get those fools' attention? The annoying puffball straightens his hat and looking at the sun, as if he's been in the sewers for days. He looks toward the house where Gyromite resides, and his eyes narrow as if he was scowling. Suddenly, he gets a lightbulb over it his head... Oh wait, the heck? Why's the lightbulb flickering!? Oh wait, it just shorted out now... Waddle Dee: *Looks at the dead lightbulb above him* Damn this... I think I have an idea though. I'll follow and study these guys and then... when I have the chance, I'll flatten them all and I'll have my revenge, as well as those stars... ROB... do some dictation... uh.. sweetie. My fingers kinda hurt.. ------------------------------- Kirby stomps through the pipe, launching whatever could've been in the way out the other side. When he reached the end, he quickly got up to his feet before the others crashed into him. Kirby: Hm... now.. where was it we had to go? Oh yeah... We had to take that pipe behind those bars and go down.... Hm.. You know.. I'm curious.. The spikey headed lad picks up a piece of scrap paper off the floor. He holds it infront of him, and notices that it's not bending. He walks over to the bars, and quickly waves the paper through the bars. After a few moments of blinking, the bars slid off, with perfect cuts on the ends. Kirby: Wow.. I didn't think that was gonna work. |

| ROB: Of course, Queen Dani, whenever you're ready. ---------- Jack: Wow, indeed.  Jack and Fem weren't wasting any time; they flew down the pipe before Kirby could get to it. After arriving on the other end, they quickly spotted a Puni a short distance away. It was a light gray color, with a couple dark gray stripes. It had thick brown eyebrows over its googly-eyes, and its antenna ball glowed a brilliant white. Fem: Look, a Puni! The Puni: Hmm? *turns to Jack and Fem* What's it to you? Jack: Er.. The Puni: You got a problem? Jack: No.. We were- The Puni: I said "Do - You - Have - A - Problem?" Jack: Actually, you said "You got a problem?", and I already told you "No." We- The Puni: That's it! The Puni runs toward Jack, jumping into the air in a spinning motion. Jack: *dodges* Acro Circus? The Puni bounces of the wall, landing just in front of Jack. He proceeds to stand on just one of his legs, and kick Jack rapidly in the shin. Jack: Dragon Feet? *shakes head* Hey, stop that. We aren't looking for a fight, we- The Puni: Well you've found one! Jack: *sigh* ???: There you are! A second Puni ran into the room through a crack. This one was dark gray with light gray stripes. His dark blue eyebrows weren't as thick as the first Puni's, and his antenna ball was a blue color. The First Puni: What do you want, Piki? Piki: Punio, much as I hate to ask for your help, the Tree is under attack! Punio: What!? By who!? Piki: Strange metal things with only one eye, and yo-yos! Jack: Ugh, why am I not surprised? Piki: They've captured a huge amount of us Puni, including Pami! They say they're looking for some kind of 'star' thing. Punio: I don't care about your girlfriend, but I'm not about to let some metal punks attack the tree. *looks at Jack* You sound like you know something about this. A click could be heard behind the door, which opens up a corridor at the end of the wall that contained the small crack. Kirby: ... Was that door there for show? Not caring what the purpose was, Kirby quickly walked through the corridor, and ended up on the other side of the wall. He noticed that there wasn't even a doorway on the otherside of the barred-door. The spikey headed lad shook his head, and then looked to his left. There was a pipe, and Punio and Piki were standing next to it. Kirby: I should've expected the shortcut to be through a Warp Pipe... -------------------------- Dani - :: blink :: Ok..
