| As Team Gemini nears Rougeport, Korra grows agitated for a reason, but he is not sure why. The real reason is that Korra can detect chaos with some uncanny sense, and it makes him tense, sorta like a mental allergy. Soon, they get close enough to see the chaos, and Korra wigs. "Chaos! Ami, we're peacekeepers, right? Let's do our job and resolve this conflict!" Ami's center crystal flashes like a strobelight one time, and the invisible bubble disappears. Both kids fall to the ground, but on their way down, Korra grabs Ami's hand and their freefall turns into a graceful dive to land successfully on their feet. Korra looks around, and sees X-nauts attacking people, but more importantly he notices Siryx. The cybornetic kid walk-runs over to Siryx. "I am a peacekeeper, call me Korra. I demand that you tell me the meaning of this chaos." Ami stands ready to defend her brother if necessary. |

| Siryx stares at the cybernetic kid. Siryx: "You're a peacekeeper, right? That word seems familiar... altought I don't know what "peace" means. You look strong..." Siryx finished summoning his weapon! A HUGE sword (think more or less 4 meters long) appeared in his hands. Siryx: "Alright! I finished summoning my weapon. I'm going to kill those robots and then, I'll slaughter the villagers. Wanna join in the slaughter? I'll let you have half of the souls." | As the X-Nauts piled on top of Jack, he sort of leaned over, and the camera shifts to under him, looking up at his face, and also somewhat focusing on the random X-Naut that was on him looking over his shoulder. Random X-Naut: It is inevitable... Suddenly, Jack stands up, spreading out his wings so as to fling all of the X-Nauts off of him. However, he has a hold of the one that was peering over his shoulder and spins him around a couple times before throwing him into several others. The X-Nauts move to attack at him again, but he flies straight up in the air before they get a chance to. ((Sorry, couldn't resist a Matrix Reloaded moment)) |

| Kirby: ... such a show off... Kirby spots a brick staircase that leads to the town center. Schala would most likely be there. And the Gims would be too busy to notice him running off. Unfortunately, a giant, green rat blocked his way. Kirby: Erm... hey... can you.. move, please? Rat: Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bother you with my troubles? Kirby: Huh? Um... Troubles? You're standing in my way... Rat: It's just that.... I have a dream to strike it rich. Yeah, I know it sounds like one of those get rich quick schemes, but I'm gonna do it, I tell you, I'm gonna do it. Kirby: *looks behind* Yeah... that's great. Try to reach for your goal, and such. Could you.. um.. Rat: It's very hard, though.. But I will prevail! But... As pathetic as it may be... I'm broke. Dry Dry Desert is-- Kirby: *hands the rat a handful of Dreamlander Star Points* Here, now, please let me through, toll man. Rat: Really? Is this for me?! Oh, why thank you, stranger. What is your name? Kirby: It's Kirby. Kirby Neo Nite. Now, please.. The rat starts dancing around. Kirby takes the opportunity to dash past the rat and runs up the flight of stairs. Kirby: Man, I thought I'd never get past him.... |

| A look of angry determination crosses Korra's face. "Stranger, I'll tell you exactly what "peace" means. Peace is the opposite of chaos. And killing falls into the chaos category. That makes me your enemy." Ami is staring right at Siryx, and her crystal is humming and flashing white. "Ami can detect dishonesty in people. You are lying in the fact that you plan to kill me after you're done with the others. I'm no mind reader, I can just tell because you're not the only one of your kind. Sorry, but I cannot let you kill. Chaos is my enemy, and Team Gemini deals with it, a perfect team, in the acceptable manner. Prepare to face the wrath of Team Gemini!" Korra does a high backflip jump to land next to Ami, as they both gain a ready stance. Korra's right arm glows silver, and white sparkles gather around Ami's crystal. Both of them engage Siryx. OOC: This whole story is becoming a brouhaha. Ya know, lots happening at once. |

Siryx laughed... exept that it was if someone else was laughing... it was as if Siryx was possessed by a superior force... Siryx's shadow grew into the form a gigantic demon that stood behind him. Siryx's Shadow: "I am not Chaos... I am the one who created Chaos. I am the creator of all destruction... I am... Evil... to it's purest form! I am... Absolute Evil!" Siryx's eyes glowed blue... Siryx: "Muwahahaha... MUWAHAHAHA!" After a while, Siryx's eyes and his shadow returned to normal for some reason. Siryx stared at Team Gemini. He was kind of... shocked. It was as if he remembered nothing of what had happened. Siryx: "Who are you? Where am I?... I'm so scared... I feel as if the source of all fears itself was within me... Please help me..." | Kirby: W-whoa! The red haired lad approached Siryx during the pleas for help. He was thoroughly freaked out at the sight of blood. The locals didn't seem to care at all, however. Fortunately for the entire populous, Kirby had gotten a little too close when Siryx released a rush of evil energy. Held up his arms, attempting to block off the energy. Kirby's blue cap was immediately burned up, while his clothes slowly followed suit. The adventurer fell backwards, while raising both of his legs. The entire mass of evil energy was shot off into the air. Kirby: *pant pant* Holy cucco.... This place ain't safe for Schala... He slowly got back onto his feet, dusting himself off. He was a bit sad because his cap was completely gone. Atleast he still had his blue bandana. He still had all of his clothes, the blue jacket, the white t-shirt, the blue jeans and the black boots, but they were given bad tears and scorch marks. Kirby: Hey! *shaking fist* Knock it off! You could hurt someone!! ---------------------------- Meanwhile.... On Neo Grape Gardens Rick: ... Are you two just gonna sit in there and-- WHOA! | (earlier) The burst of negative energy would've hurt Team Gemini, but Korra's 40% resistance to darkness attacks helped them. Korra shielded Ami with his body, taking slight damage. (present) The twins thought for a while as Kirby and Siryx talked. Korra spoke up as they all walked to the Inn. "Siryx, you don't know why it happens you say. You and I are alike, you know? Both of us have something to learn about ourselves. Ami and I have an unknown origin, and Ami never speaks on top of that... I feel for you. I'll help you get things together, Siryx. Peacekeepers are trustworthy and loyal." Ami nods and smiles, silently. "We're here to help. We'll get you healed up, then we'll go on a quest. Kirby, care to join us?" |
