I hope I'm in the right place but will the data to allow bewildered to edit pokemon fire red be added anytime soon? And I just want to say that I think Elitemap is really great, to whoever is working on it.

Unfortunately I don't know how to add time support for the code, or how to put it in the map script...maybe if the game sets a flag depending on whether it's AM or PM using Rubikon code or even ASM code, and we can use checkflag to check that flag...

The map script:
thingy. contains code for map. code is thing that causes stuff. if you can put stuff in code, things can happen in map.
the script i used:
used to re-create, or replicate, or...well, you should know what that means-- the day/night thing in G/S/C (it gets dark at night).
i dunno how to add de time support or how to shove it into de map script.

The map script is a code that causes things to happen in the map, such as in Petalburg City, the little kid who forces you to go into the gym, the map script probably moves him to the right spot if the wallycatch sequence hasn't been triggered and completed.
the script I made is a script to replicate the day/night effects in Gold, Silver and Crystal. However, it needs some modifications, and I don't know how to add day/night support. If Nintendo made the game set a rubikon flag when it turns to AM/PM, and someone discovers the flag, then it would be a revolution; we could replicate those effects, make day/night-only effects, and perhaps even make a script to change the wild pkmn in the area! of course, that would be once EliteMap gets a feature to edit the map's script...also, I wonder why ScriptEd can't show it in Rubikon code, showing unsupported commands as raw, or somethin'?

Uh, I downloaded Elite Map 3.2 recently, and it's great and all, but the Pokemon I inserted into the game (yay for empty Pokemon slots) and it showed up with the shiny color I inserted using PokePic. Anyway, that's not the majority of my concerns. How do I change a Pokemon's name? I can't figure it out...

Also, in the next version of BaseEdit, could you make it snap to 0, 25, 50, 75, and 100% on the Male/Female slider? I don't want to count to 150 every time I need to set it to 50%...

And how do you insert a new map into the game? Thanks...(I didn't feel like sorting through the whole topic to see if this was answered...perhaps you could compile a tutorial?)

E] Also, how do I insert new values into the Pokedex and allocate them to the new Pokemon, and make old Pokemon evolve in these new Pokemon?

can't put a new map in.
Last bank has 22+ options, only one is real map, maybe someone can reference these others to free space, have EliteMap prompt U to make new map.
if you make the ?'s (look like ??) different, horrible things can happen...
Also, Pokepic warns you if the graphic you made is too big as if you save a graphic that's too big, you will write over other data. I found that out when I made a too0big graphic in 255, and ssaved it...let's just say you'd never have gotten your starter.
But that was a long-ago mistake.
Change a PKMN's name by text hackin'. Search for "??????????" minus quotes.
and they NEED that slider.
Also, instead of puttin' a slider thing, the interface oughta be this:
Male: |textbox|
Female: |textbox|
Rarity: (silder) (%0-%255)
And simple; Change the shiny color to the normal color (XD try to get the shiny and normal to use the same palette).

EDIT: Bug with RS Ball: In Pokepic, it tells you if thegraphic you inserted is too big. This is important because if you insert it and save anyway, you'll save over something important... However, this isn't in RS Ball. I can't import even 3 trainer sprites without it savin' over important data ('cause the graphics are too big). It doesn't warn me the graphic is too big. Can someone add in a feature to warn the user if the graphic is too big?
EDIT (again): Where in the ROM is the item database?

Is there a newer version of Bewildered than 1.0?
I got 1.0 but it doesn't work properly...it edits the grass pokemon perfectly but it doesnt work with water or tree pokemon for some reason.

Why is that insuffisiant details, i've told you what I want to know (Is there a newer version of Bewildered than 1.0?) and whats up with the one I've got (It will only edit grass pokemon).
If you need more then that, I'm editing pokemon ruby, what else do you need?

you edit sprites with rs ball if they're trainer or pokemon, edit decompressed sprites with tlp, if they're compressed and not viewable by rs ball get the dec offset, use pokepic.
and what i mean is, smeg4brains, we may be able to solve the 'only edits grass pkmn' prob, we need more details though. as for me, bewildered works perfectly () (at least 4 sapphire) though when some maps are selected it locks up. and it really needs to show the map names, not "?.?". e.x. "PETALBURG WOODS" instead of "?.?"
EDIT: and where ARE the evolution bytes?

It's the same on all maps, I change anything in water or trees, save it, and when I go back on it the changes havn't been made and it has gone ack to whatever it was origionally.

what version are ya hackin', Smeg?
oh, Ruby? sry, forgot. anyway, it may be the version. either that or the rom was glitched by something that happened when hacking with other tools. beware of rs ball. it won't tell you if the graphic you're trying to save is too big and if it is then you'll save over important game data because rs ball doesn't edit it to shrink it, no, not even a warning. someone's got to fix that.

you can edit them in tlp if you want to make a sprite look exactly like another copy the gfx number (very long) of the graphic you want to copy, and paste it over the one you want to look like the other. then do the same for the palette. note; if it has a multi-colored (colors appear messed up in spread) palette, and you replace the palette it may appear with different colors than its supposed to. *yawn* for some reason spread doesn't work on sappaxpe. as in it can't edit.
and you know how pokepic alerts you if the new graphic is too big? that's because a too-big graphic won't fit. so if you save it anyway you overwrite important data. rs ball needs that feature. i destroyed several trainers in an attempt to replace team magma with rocket in ruby.

just one question,on elitemap i re-size a map and the border messes up...How i fix that?If i dont fix that properly i got to make re-sized map bigger and put rows of trees and shift map and events....So how i fix the border? thanks
