Here are sreenshots of my new hack:

It is getting stupid how many times I am editing this page because I keep gettin the wrong adress. Sadly, Mario might not have the same colors because I had to start over. The fortress levels are level files, so you will see them.

The reason I started over was because I messed up the graphics. I actually thought a ninji light would be cool, but then I decided not to keep it.

Y'know... Those look pretty terrible. A level made out of throw blocks HAS to suck, and your overworld is really ugly...

Of course, it's not like I didn't make most of those same mistakes in my first hack...

KA has a point there.

Overworld sucks.

Levels suck.

Ninji light was a nice idea, but it's been removed.

Etc.

I need to go wash my eyes of this crap, come back when you learn the editors better

Now that I can see the overworld, you need a lot more work done on it

1st shot: Why include this?
2nd shot: To dark. Dont use these for screenshots.
3rd shot: Same as above.
4th shot: If your going to make a level of all breakable blocks, make it a hidden bonus sub-level.
5th shot: Just bad. Messed up mario, floating moon, passable cement blocks, weird goal...please change this.

Newer ones:

1st shot: Please no. Just plane bad. Change this right away!!
2nd shot: Not that bad, but cap of the side of that ground (where the pipe and water and ground meet).
3rd shot: Same as above.

And for your time limits, why are they so high! Set it to 500 seconds, play your level and subtract your remaining time from 500. Now add 150 seconds and set that as your time (rounded up). Thats what I do, that way there is room for your player to make mistakes.

Also, why change mario's palette? Just leave it the way it is.

A suggestion - Make your levels appear, not have them already there.

Has it become like a sport in this forum, to completely rip into new people's attempts at hacks? It's quite pathetic actually.

Oh, that rant excludes Xkeeper, as he just insults everyone, no matter who they are.

Constructive comments!

For a first hack, this doesn't look half-bad.

Actually, I could play a totally glitched hack and still think that it's beautiful. As long as you try to keep the glitch count below 100 per stage, it's OK for me (unless it's a Glitch Hack). Apart from a few minor glithces (ninji light, space between the small pipe and frozen water), it is far from being as glitchy as some hacks I played.

The level design doesn't look great... but not bad either. Screenshots doesn't do hacks justice usually (beautiful ExGFX doesn't make a good hack, glitched GFX doesn't make a bad hack) so I'll review when I get my hands on a demo.

The overworld has a serious lack of details but that's pretty much it this far. The only truly bad thing with it is that the cliffs look a bit weird but that's all. Try to avoid glitches, especially in the overworld. Once you'll master the overworld editor, hide the levels unstead of making them all visible right at the start also. It will make your hack look more professional.

How about below 1?
There seems to be a problem with your host. The images don't show up, and when I tried to view them alone, they showed up as text!

I would give out a Demo, but my host only accepts images, text documents, Htmls, and movies. I use Galacnet.
