I have an assignement due where I have to write at least a page on the technology of world war 1, basicly. Now, I now I could easily go on google and look up this and that and the other thing, but being completly unfamiliar with it myself, I feel I need to ask--what would be some good points to highlight in my paper? Is there anything specific I should probably look for in my reasearch, or any specific point that is key to my research? Your comments would be greatly apreciated, thanks (edited by MajinBlueDragon on 10-18-04 07:54 PM) |

The development of the machine gun and the lack of development in strategy in tactics to deal with it, resulting in an absurd amount of deaths. | |||

Oh, let us not mention the idea of collateral damage based on the loss of one's own troops during the ensuing counter-attack. The proliferation of trench warfare. The use of tanks. The first time that personal radios were given on the battle-field. Twas' a horrid war that should never have happened. |
