I have a Panasonic SL-SX430 MP3/CD player. It's awesome. It simply will not skip, I take it walking, running, driving on incredibly bumpy Albertan roads, and it doesn't miss a beat. Lasts forever on a good pair of batteries too, and it's almost waterproof. Plus, it has the Live mode; the Inuyasha theme song sounds so awesome with that on. I prefer MP3/CD players to just MP3 because you pretty much have unlimited memory. Just burn the files to CDRW and go. I have about 90 songs on one and it's only 1/3 full. Plus of course you can play CDs too. (Ironically, the SA-AK410, a home system of the same brand, is really rather crappy. It might just be mine, but it skips a lot, actually skips right over the first few seconds of most songs, and the timer function is useless; it always loses time and the volume level is random when it turns on. ) |

I have a RCA LYRA 256 Megs mp3 player, the ones without the RADIO function. I like it because it's really small and I can go do my jogging with it in my pocket 256 megs of music is enough for me and I can even a a SD card for another 256 megs.

Kitten Yiffer! iPod = Boo I have all three! An old Panasonic Discman... no anti-shock. Then I have a portable CD/RW/MP3 player. And last but not least I have my Pocket PC with a 256 MB SD card. It plays MP3s like... something that's good at playing MP3s. Guess what media player... The Pocket PC is also good cause I have a little SNES emulator with some little games... In case I get bored. I have a CD player without the radio. My dad got it thinking it had one but eh, it's all good. I got me a good stereo system in my room. I wanted an Mp3/Cd/Tuner but eh, maybe some other time since my CD player has warranty or whatever. I'm too broke right now anyway..can't have all 3 or anything like you people

Memorex 128 MB MP3 player. Oh, and an MP3 CD player in me car. Me > you. Obviously. (Love the car stereo... fit about 12 discs onto one CD-R. AND it works with their 12-disc CD changer, so you don't have to do much of ANYTHING. ^____^) |

So shut the hell up about me not knowing benefits or drawbacks of any of them. Thank you. |

Yeah, I have one. It's a Sony Walkman of some sort. Yes, it's a few years old, and yes it's horrible. It skips and skips and skips. When it skips, it says "SORRY." Yeah, thanks for all the impromptu remixes and fast-fowards through my songs. Thanks a by-jolly-jingles lot. |

My iPod fell today, when I got off the bus, it got bumped off my hip and fell. It seems to be playing okay, but the corners got scratched. Well, for the moment, I still have an MP3 player, and I hope that iPods can handle this abuse..... otherwise I may not much longer. |

I have a Nomad Jukebox Zen 20GB usb 2.0. I like it, works as a hard drive too. Never had any problems with it. I would suggest you get the 60gb version though. |
