I didn't find too many differences between SMAS and SMA4, which made me kind of sad. (I downloaded a ROM instead of buying, so I guess that I shouldn't complain. ) The same goes for SMA3. In SMA was a lot changed and I liked that. SMA2 had some nice changes as well. >/offtopic> I still vote for SMA4, though.

I still have to go with the original. I dont deem it to have the worst graphics because the only difference betwix the NES and SNES version is shading. Backgrounds are more intense in SMAS albeit.

The reason I go with the original is because, that is what it is, the original. They were the best thing going for the time, and i still think it looks good. I happen to like it's simple look and coloring. the raw colors of the 8-bit machine came together quite well in this game.

I voted for the SMAS version. It has better graphics and sounds than the original NES version, and (thank God) it doesn't have Mario and Luigi voices in the game. I hate hearing "Mamma mia" every time I die!

Although e-reader capabilities were a plus in SMA4, I still prefer SMAS.

I have to go with the SMAS version.

I almost voted for the old NES version because I like the "old school" feel of it, but when I got thinking about it I realized that All Stars had one major thing hanging over the original's head (besides graphics). You could actually save your game! So instead of warping from world 1 to world 8, I actually could play through the entire game from start to finish.

I didn't vote for the GBA version because I don't like the voices, and the multiplayer is a hastle and expensive.

all right! i change my vote from the NES version to the SMAS version. Come to think of it, why didn't the original have a save feature? A feature Kirby's Adventure took into consideration. (I consider KA the "Second Comming" of SMB3 to the NES)

I liked them all...

I wish they would of made a good copy of the old SMB though.. >.<

I hated the All-Stars version of it.

I shall not vote.

I think SMAS version is the better. To be sincer, I don't like of the type of graphics and sounds of NES. And about GBA, I don't like it by something (I don't know exactly).

I prefer SMA4 because it has slightly better graphics and sound than SMAS, and because of the e-Reader capabilities.

Original. I haven't played SMA4 but All Stars killed the almighty power of the Hammer Suit.

I voted the NES version because I like the simple look and the sound is great too (still actually has the cart and plays on the NES)

NES - Classic goodness. Some of the music sounds better than their SMAS/GBA counterpart (such as the ending theme, it seems to sound better at that fast speed rather than the slower speed the SNES and GBA versions have). Lots of fun Game Genie codes to mess around with. Three different versions (Japanese, US First, US Second). But the later version's stupid world names...damn! 28 P-Wing trick, which actually serves as a reward for beating the game. Then there's Mario's Adventure. My personal favorite.

SNES - Better graphics, better sounds, save feature. Pretty average. I grew up with it, too. It gets second place.

GBA - Loads of extra features, but a lot of them require the scum that is the E-Reader. Why don't I like the E-Reader, you ask? It's an obvious attempt to make more money. So instead of just spending 50 dollars on a game, you need to spend around 120 dollars to get the most out of it. It also has those stupid voices that ruined it all. They're tolerable in the 3D Mario games, but they just cripple the classics. My least favorite.

I didn't know that many people even owned an e-reader. [|=o>

My first experience was with all-stars... I can't really say I like one more than another though. I haven't really played the GBA version, and somehow the voices on the SMA games don't bug me too much.

Whatever.

I don't know what to say, because SMB3 is the original, but SMAS has better graphics and sound... What's cool, is that if SMB3 was the first version you played, you would find the same game in SMAS, just better! But if you played SMAS first, you would never play SMB3 later...
