I love Rammstein, but AC/DC is just classic.

Hmm, I'm going AC/DC here. Quite possibly the greatest hard rock band of all time.

It's....not a comparison. AC/DC is like a pillar of rock. They've put out amazing albums, and proved they can produce multiple albums, where as Rammstein is relatively young compared to them. Do you even call Rammstein rock? I've listened to a little, but I'm not sure on the comparison. |

What? Of course Rammstein are rock! Two guitars, one vocalist, a bassist, a set of drums and a keyboardist. You haven't heared a lot of Rammstein if you think they're not rock

idk, I guess what I've listened to sounds techno / electronica-y almost. Just my opinion though

Sensucht seemed to steer in that direction, Toxic.. but they have songs that are what Kasumi's talking about. Anyway, I like both, but I really gotta go with AC/DC. |

Except that many people tend to forget that metal is a genre completely separate from rock, a genre with many diverse sub-genres all its own. Sure, in the beginning metal stemmed from rock, but it definitely became its own thing apart from it. Yes, Rammstein's metal--some variation of it. Rammstein label Sehnsucht in particular as "dance metal." (edited by Abnormal Freak on 10-24-04 08:37 AM) |

Indeed, that's why it's my favorite, particularly to go clubbing to. It's far more upbeat than the other albums, and is great to dance to. Highlights Sehnsucht, Du Hast and Engel.

I have to go with AC/DC. And did you know that there is now an actual Highway To Hell ? It's in Melbourne, it's a lane that was named to celebrate AC/DC recently |
