| I've got an idea of a feature that would be fun to have on these boards. Why not add another field to the Edit Profile page, where you choose which country you live in. Now, you're saying "WTF! There's already a Location field!", but I'm not finished. The nice about this is that you would be able to view every member from a certain country in the memberlist. If you're woundering "How many members lives in Germany?", you choose Germany from a drop down menu and so on. It would also be nice if the land's flag appears under the avatar or something when you're posting. |

| Nice suggestion, you would also sort of get time zones from that (bar large ass countries like US, which has 3 time zones) It's not a necssary one, but still helpful in a way - not hard to do either. | |||

No need for that - for this is the "Location:" entry there - it is really not too much work to enter a few bytes of information there. Okay, it would be nice looking feature with that dropdown list (along with ClearType font effects in Win 2k or XP)  I don't entered it here - I know some Germans/Austrians here and talked already German with them Time zones would be a good feature. On the old board I already suggested customizable time and date settings, such as in phpBBs and other boards. So I could enter (in phpBB syntax) G:i:s, D d M Y in the field. It would show the date in 24-hours plus my custom date/tay settings for each thread  For here it would be a nice feature, but I dunno know how difficult this is to code for an AcmlmBoard or if this would even use another one than me here  |

| There are 4 timezones in the United States EST CST MST PST -5 -6 -7 and -8 GMT as for making the timezones you can pick based off your location... that would be dumb considering half the people won't put the right country anyway, if one at all... but yeah it does seem like a neat thing to do, add a little more dynamic to the board.... with the country flag and all that..... someone reply to this after me, so I'll remember to put it in the tracker when I get home |

| right now i'm just automatically filling it in myself, if you are refering to the country regions. if you are refering to which actual countries are being filled in, i'm just doing that by hand as well, feeding my script a few country names. as soon as Panicus.org comes back online and i have an SQL database to mess with, i'm going to install an acmlmboard and make it run off of the user location info. |

| cool, even though right now it is done manually without data, its still awesome, there should also be a list of all countries below the map, so you dont have to click on a single country, or anything, just scroll down, and it shows all the countries people are from. |
