I was wondering, if anybody here knows of a good SNES emulator for OS X.

I have an emulator now, but I can't seem to get things to run.

I want to play Yoshi's Island!

I -believe- that SNES9x runs on the Mac...I'm not sure on how well it runs on a Mac...but if it's anything like Windows...it'll run decently.

A more direct link.

I think as long as the Mac in question can run OS X... it'll run this.

That's the one I was already running.

Hmm, which makes me wonder, why isn't Yoshi's Island working?

Possibly a bad ROM dump or extract. Yoshi's Island SHOULD run on SNES9x.

Er... heh, you guys aren't allowed to suggest anywhere good for me to get stuff from, are you? Eh, I'm sure I'll find it...

You can PM and ask other people. Your allowed to do that. >.>

I have a quite nice ROM collection myself. YI for example, I have severeal versions of that ROM. It's my favorite SNES game after all... so I could send it over to you if you wish.

YI is one of the more advances games, it's not running on the all emulators. But SNES9x runs YI perfect from what I know. And the Mac OS x shouldn't be diffrent.

Yup. You can PM but you can't... well... come out and ask.

Best idea would be to look for a GoodSNES version of the rom... Anything with a (U) or (E) in it.
