| Which is weird. I disable the firewall and everything and the only thing I get is "FTP transaction failed" and the program won't even let me close it, it's fucking annoying, I always have to get the taskmanager and kill it. In the patcher.log file I can see that it says "Successfully loaded the patch information. (00003 -> 00004)". What is even more weird is that I can access the ftp manually through a browser. I even downloaded everything in the patch folder there. Too bad I don't know if there's a way to patch it manually |

| Um... I finally got around to playing it. Eh, it kind of sucks actually.  I'm not sure if I can buy anything, the shop says that I'm restricted due to my account.That, and it's hard as hell to pick something up. You have to press Z about 40 times per item. Also, when two things are coming at you, and you swing your weapon, it only hits one of them. wtf? |

| Yeah, I DL'ed it yesterday and found that problem with the enemies. As for the pick up items, you can only pick up items if YOU killed the monster. You can however pick up other items people may have left behind after about 10 secs or so. I suppose this is good so people can't cheat and pick up money that you rightfuly got. |

| After much adventuring, I found out that you have to actually walk to towns to buy stuff. Makes sense, in a way... The item picking up drives me crazy. Then again.. I should expect this kinda stuff... Lag and all. I'm still kinda iffy about the game.. It looks great.. But it feels a bit clunky.. I hope that one day, there'll be a perfect 2d side scrolling action rpg.. One that lets you move around like crazy.. and pull off lots of jumping and dodging tricks.. and what not. ... | Now I know what the game reminds me of. Popful Mail. (...Yes, I'm going back into the SEGA CD days of all things.) Apparently that "hit Z 40 times thing" is lag according to the website. The servers are based in Korea. I'll give them credit for actually doing a... well, semi-decent translation job. Certainly beats RO. It's OK so far. I'll continue trying it to see how the later areas are. |
