| Hi everybody! I wanted to create a map using Advancemap. The method i've followed is this: -Looked in the hex editor for a free space($6B1080) -run advancemap and find a house -File/map/insert map... there i put $6B1080 as the offset and 34.0 as the map bank/number -modified .INIs of advancemap so I could find my map in the program -worked, but the map only had 2 events(there were 255 of each, though, but most of them were out of the map) -set them to 0 in the event manager (for this, i've found free space bla, bla, bla ($6B113C) -with the event manager again, put 2 warps and a person (I know, i could do that before, because i had to find space again ($6B1150) -The problem is this: THE EVENTS APPEARED OUT OF THE MAP so I couldn't move or do anything with them Help me, pliz! |

You won't find any advancemap help here, use Elitemap. It's the resident program and is at least 10 times better than advancemap.  |

| OK, then the cuestion is: Can Elitemap create maps? How? PD: I know Elitemap is the residen program blah, blah, blah, and I use it too, but for things advancemap can't do or it's easier with elitemap. To combine programs for the same things with "power up" that aspect of your map (edited by Baro on 09-29-04 12:43 PM) |
