| Did you just put the file in the Fonts folder, or did you INSTALL it? You generally need to actually install it. When you navigate to the Fonts folder, and then go to "File" there should be an option to install fonts. |

| actually, if he put it in Windows/Fonts, there is no way to get to it via windows explorer. What he has to do is the following: 1. start->run->"cmd" 2. "cd c:\windows\fonts\" 3. "copy [font file name] c:\" once there is a copy in C:\, then using windows explorer he can manually drag the font file to C:\Windows\Font where the font installer will kick in. |

| Or his other simpler option is to just open up the control panel. It has a shortcut to the fonts folder. Then just drag it over from your font file from your desktop or wherever. It installs itself once its in there. | |||

| [posts his alotted 1 post/day] Or (assuming you use XP) you can just stick the font in via a RightClick -> Paste in the Windows\Fonts directory-- I did that with Press Start K and it autoinstalled. Rule of thumb: MAKE SURE YOU RESTART AFTER INSTALLING NEARLY EVERYTHING OR IT MAY JUST NOT SHOW UP.  Btw, it was a font, right? A true blue .ttf file?  |

Hey, where do I get that Press Start font?  Also, I have the Terminal font (came with Windoze) and it works in Notepad, but it doesn't show up in Wordpad, Photoshop, etc. Why is that? |

| *revives* It's because it's not a spiffy True Type font (note Courier doesn't either, but it's New flavor does) .... you can still access it by typing in Terminal in the font bar, it'll still workk just not show up in the menu... ...and the PSK font, I'd send it over but at the moment my computer's lagging and I'm too goddamn lazy to find it. just try this  |
